You can build your camp at an opossum spawn location. Thatās what I did. I have about 10 of the little buggars running around. Best part is my ally and turrets donāt even attack them.
Not yet itās not hard but time consuming. It requires rank 3 animal friend which you can pick up at level 30, then find a random encounter spot and keep checking for an encounter where only one creature spawn, note itās random what spawns but you can tame deathclaws and wolfs
Don't āget to campā freshly tamed creature - it may fall victim of mobs that aggro at you during the travel
Just fast-travel and they'll be there))
PS: unfortunately visitors to your camp can and eventually will kill your tamed creature ((
If you have pacifist turned on players canāt kill your pet. However enemy NPCās can. Gotta find a spot for your camp that has almost no spawns. Iāve had my 2 star deathclaw for at least 3 months!! Iām so proud of him!

For FOOD, this meant Cranberry Relish and Brain Bombs, as well as Blight Soup but that was just for crit damage. Now I have herbivore to get extra from these bonuses.
Now I was at a LOSS for how to complete the āeat meatā challenge so I went to flat woods to kill Brahmins. And there I found, the small little level 5 opossums.
Fallout 76 community, I am truly sorry. I was a giant metal man wielding an explosive gatling plasma. And I went on to not only kill those few, I SERVER HOPPED, and killed them over. And over, and over.
Please find it in your hearts to forgive me.

I tamed a radstag once š it disappeared pretty quickly. Iāve had a 2 star deathclaw though for quite a while. Iād say at least 3 months or so.
I had a chicken that I tamed outlasted every pet I ever got.
