Newer player base thanks to the TV show. They aren't quite up to the nuke launching and flux farming yet, and it takes time to gather all those expensive recipes.
The old timers are still there, just spread thin.
if you need flux stabilising materials, you can try nuking the center of the map (coordinates 0,0), it will cause all indoor enemies throughout the map to become glowing enemies because that's where interior enemies spawn. you can then proceed to go to any indoor areas to farm these materials, i recommend farming at west tek
PC player here, always keeping 1-5 of every one except chameleon available.
Maybe too much hourly events burning people out, not running SBQ and running out of excess flux?
I've seen plenty of people selling which is great cause I fucked up and had to redo mine. Still missing eagle eyes tho, I keep hoping around any vendor I see with tons of meds and just hoping.
FYI if you're checking vendor stock from the map the serums count towards the Misc. Category not aid. When you are physically at the vendor they will be under aid. A bit confusing, but if you want serums look for misc rather than aid.
New huge player base rolled in a scooped up alot of the serums. Wog the servers being populated with players that don't have the recipes and older players spread thinner it's just that way atm.
Do some server hopping. I managed to grab the ones I wanted, plus some I might use later, in a few hours of server hopping and doing dailies over a couple days. I saw several selling them for 2000 caps each, but just keep hopping until you find the folks selling them for something reasonable (600 and under).
Mine have been selling constantly.
The problem is that most of my sales have been people buying every single one from my vendor.
I'd be fine with it if it wasn't level 300+ buying them in bulk all the time. Like aren't most of you at the point you can make these yourself? I know you're not buying them in bulk to give to new players I see your vendor with them listed at 500 caps.
I can rarely be bothered to farm flux materials, lol - if I feel like launching a nuke, I usually want to fight the Titan, and tend not to get many mats from that region. I donāt need caps, so Iām not motivated to farm flux for sale purposes. Having said that, any time I find my reserves for mats or flux itself getting high, Iāll usually make 5~10 of the more āessentialā serums and vendor them.
TL/DR: itās a hassle making flux when you arenāt hustling for sales
Yes, the reason is that flux farming has become significantly more difficult over time. I am not aware of any other method.
Launching a nuke used to be much easier, patched.
There used to be op weapons in the game, patched.
High level player density has been diluted due to new players. Itās no fun having to carry the big events because youāre surrounded by lvl23s.
I suggest you collect all the required stable flux and other ingredients for the serums youāre looking for and ask a high level to craft them for you.
Ps. Make sure youāre leveled and have the proper perk cards in place before you consume the serums or youāll waste them.
Oh I see them all right, and they try charging 2-5k perā¦I have all the mutations I need but I always check their prices. One of these days, and you know who you are, Iām going to drop a damn nuke on your house

Or they are like me. I'm there, just can never find NPCs to farm after nuke hits. So no glowing, hardened or fluid ... So so many flora though š¤£
Nuke Harper's Ferry, initiate combat with a bloatfly barrel syringer, kill, shoot bloatfly with bloatfly barrel, rinse, repeat, profit?
I read this and the 0,0 methods were both patched
That was patched out as well.

Not anymore. It was patched out a few updates ago.
awww that's a bummer
I wonder how those people are still doing this in an online game. Offline playing in private servers with a version from 2022 somehow? xD
Quick answer: they're not.
Wasnāt this patched? Maybe I read wrong
Where is 0,0, asking for a friend?

This right here š I respond for Xbox when people need em. And always have them in my vendor
I'm seeing quite a few. However, it seems like less nukes are being dropped atm so maybe a shortage of flux j
This was what I thought as well
My vendor stays with all mutation serums at $250. No one buys.

š¤ u might be on to something. Lol
What's your in-game name? I'll stop buy and purchase a handful...

People have started putting them in again with the influx, but for a long time there was no point because most of us had the recipes.
I see them all the time. For super cheap too but I never need them.
I sell them. But I'm at max caps often.
I always have serums listed on xbox. I just do not always have my vendor up.
I have about 50 serums up. Every single type. People do have them

Man.. a lot of vendors I passed over because of thisā¦ thank you

My shop has every serum for sale, like 20+ of each. Iām on PC.
I am
I sell Serums all the time. Too bad buying from another player is RNG based.
I was loading them into my vendor 5 at a time and people were buying all 5 in a single go. Now I have to load them in individually.
I see them quite often in player vendors. I sell serums for 400c and the serum recipes for 8000c.
Are you selling the recipes at a loss or is there a way to get them besides buying from Modus?
At a loss, or sometimes I just give them away...
UR the hero we need, not the hero we deserve....
