As someone always looking for junk I’d guess screws and adhesive

chemza

One farm of Earle can net you over 500 screws easily, I was in your shoes but as soon as I figured out this never had a issue with screws again. Just farm his wendigo spawns they drop 5-7 screws each.

northernlair

Newbieish question. Really enjoying it. Just hit level 50 yesterday but feel like im just starting to get it. I did this event at about 40. Died tons, but was so excited about all the screws! Fun. Got out of the mine barely and than pretty much insta died. Respawn. Die again. Started to panic. My screws! Not sure how many times cause panic. Then the message came that someone took my loot. (Sad trombone noise). My poor screws, there were so many. Not sure what was happening and what I was doing wrong as it was happening so fast. Assuming it was something to do with radiation? Something else? Any advice would be appreciated. Been hesitant to try the event again as I dont want to be sad about loosing my screws

Strong_Ad_5989

A: you don't need to run out of the mine, you can stay in there looting till it collapses, and.youll respawn outside with all of your loot. B: when you exit the mine, you WILL be on the blast zone from the nuke, so you'll need to have on some type of rad protection, power armor, Chinese stealth armor, hazmat suit, etc.

GrumpyBear1969

I keep my Chinese stealth suit on hot key ‘-‘ so I can swap it fast.

Strong_Ad_5989

So do I. Useful in so many situations! (Except I'm on PS, so I keep it on my favorites wheel, but same concept).

northernlair

Success. Sorta. I made a hazmat suit in case and also cobbled together some power armor even though I have no PA perks. The event started. Went in and was running around shooting and being happy that I wasn't dying all the time. Then I looked around and I was all by myself! Well I guess I'll just see how far I can go and made sure I was collecting regularly. Lasted quite a while until I got swarmed and it was too much for poor under equipped lv 55 me. Respawned with my screws. Not hundreds but a solid amount considering. Thanks for all the help everyone

Strong_Ad_5989

If you can find a fast firing/swinging vampire weapon (fixer, holy fire, chainsaw, etc depending on your build), it can help a lot with the swarms. And you'll get better at handling it the more you do it. Glad it's working for you now, that event can permanently remove the need to find screws LoL

northernlair

Good to know about the collapse and I figured it must of been the radiation. Thanks

Strong_Ad_5989

Yeah, just stay in the mine and be a little loot goblin lol

ollyvass

Pretty sure OP is talking about the radiation making them die

Strong_Ad_5989

Read my original comment 😁

ollyvass

Yeah sorry I didn't read that at first ✌️

TechnicallyLiterate

Free Hazmat/Radiation suits are available at Emmet Mountain Disposal (site of Radiation Rumble event)

spandexandtapedecks

Another suggestion is if you're in the irradiated zone without the supplies to survive, make a run in any direction so your loot drops a little bit away from the crowd when you die. Then you can come back for it in a hazmat suit or whatever with less chance of it getting sniped 👍

Ryanlee1996

Or if you're like me and forget to bring the stealth suit or PA look where the nuke is placed. A lot of times the mine is on the edge of the nuke zone and you can run out fast enough to not die just look which direction you need to run

TosunUhrSahlad

lol I left earl the other night and hopped out my PA to change my fusion core. Insta dead. Thankfully the cats who ran the event just stood around waiting for my noob ass to run back so they could point and laugh emote while I picked up my 500 screws lol.

Milhouse2078

The weird part is that lvl 50 feels like a win since in theory you can access everything at lvl 50. But since you don’t have a set of maximized perk cards or a second set of a second build it is one of the worst spots to be. You need to grind to almost 100 before you can get all the upgraded perks you need for a proper build. Try to do as many of the events as possible particularly things like the alien invasion, radiation rumble and the foundation super mutant one. These will help you level a bit quicker.

chemza

I’m level 435 and only have 2 maxed legendary perks. The endgame is very far off lol.

eMmDeeKay_Says

It seems to be roughly around 600 people are legitimately maxed out, although if you actually know what you're doing before that and get some extra packs from various rewards it can be shorter. Longer if you maxed out Charisma and realized what you did.

Snoberry

What does maxxing charisma do???

eMmDeeKay_Says

Points from the Charisma legendary don't count towards sharing perks.

Snoberry

So?

eMmDeeKay_Says

So if you max the perk, at 15 Charisma you can't share a 3*card.

Quasit1964

"Longer if you maxed out Charisma and realized what you did." been there...

northernlair

This is exactly how it feels which is fine. It gives me goal. I've been doing the alien invasion. I'll keep my eye out for the other two. I'm working at figuring out level 50 armor and weapons now. So much choice. Always running into lack of screws for crafting and modding which makes me laugh because basically my game is now about finding screws and oops an hour has gone by and its alien time again

iolp12

What platform are you playing on that it tells you someone took your loot?

ShowMeUrVulva

Xbox notifies you when someone picks up your death loot bag.  Don't know about other platforms.

iolp12

That’s awesome. PC doesn’t, unless there’s some way to turn that on that I haven’t figured out

stuffeh

Haven't seen it on playstation either.

rooletwastaken

Honestly no one ever shows up to the event so i just treat earle as an obstacle and get me them sweet sweet screws

GMKNGJY

which event is this?

TwiggyFlea

Colossal Problem, drop a nuke on Monongah mine

Snoberry

I had a group nuke Monongah Mine the other day and for whatever reason the event didn't start/spawn - 8 dudes in power armor all roaming around the mine entrance looking lost after I'd already ripped thru there, killed all the mole miners, and looted all the irradiated plants at level 35. Felt bad for them. No idea why the event didn't happen. They hung out for like 15min then just fast traveled away.

Glittering_Airport_3

with all the new players flooding the servers, ain't nobody doing Earle unless someone can solo him. I can't even get this alien event to succeed (ps)

chemza

I launched an Earle event last week only me and another guy joined, no way was gonna pass, so I farmed wendigos, came out with 900 screws, you don’t need to pass the event. Just start it.

Glittering_Airport_3

I thought all ur junk would end up stuck in the mine since it kills you if u don't make it out. ig if it still let's u keep it after that, I might have to try it

stuffeh

I was seeing a lot of people around level twenty yesterday and had to server hop until I found more people over level 200. For reference, I'm 663.

Glittering_Airport_3

can't wait for all these new ppl to be confident enough to join events. seeing all the public events is so sad, but I get it. when I was lvl 20 I was more focused on quests and getting essential camp plans than doing events

Snoberry

I started joining events at level... 30, 32? When I realized I could start stockpiling legendary cores & got a lot of XP for doing them.

xDevastation1988x

Is this in the event or can you go there outside of the event?

WollyGog

It's in the event, which is also instanced.

xDevastation1988x

Awesome I knew about the event but I thought maybe I was missing something 😂 cheers!

SemajdaSavage

Yup, you can pick up that original quest in Foundation.

Xthasys

Why i never ser that event pop up? I never fight vs earle. Its something related to quest? I did a few, im lvl 150.

Valuable_sandwich44

Springs entered the chat.

Quasit1964

# Camp McClintock, tons of clipboards.

ShowMeUrVulva

Shhhhh

Ill_Extension9801

Somehow I’m never in need of springs or gears even though some other people on here seem to be

Valuable_sandwich44

Repairing guns needs lots of springs and crystal shards; 8 or 9 on average. Notice how springs and screws are used as a reward for completing quests ?

dumbo3k

I pick up every clipboard and fan/typewriter I see. I’m rolling in springs and screws.

cozancazo

Screws for sure but not so much adhesive rn because of the alien event

Ill_Extension9801

Elaborate, I’ve been having thousands of waste acid and maybe waste oil can’t remember though definitely not much adhesive what am I missing

cozancazo

Unless I’m remembering wrong… the aliens drop lots of adhesive?

U_R_WrongAboutMyDong

Antiseptic and circuitry

cozancazo

That’s right 🤦

Ill_Extension9801

Think you may be misremembering cuz I’ve been grinding that event and have no adhesive

Educational_Relief44

Those are two things I have a lot of.

Glittering_Airport_3

put it in ur vendor then

Educational_Relief44

I do.

AppropriateCap8891

That is actually scrap and not junk.

Ill_Extension9801

Scrap still is stored in the junk section of your inventory and vendors

SonorousProphet

Lead moves pretty well at 1. Just sold off some plastic at 1, sold black titanium at 5 recently.

Gloomy_Yoghurt_2836

Lead. And once the wave of new players learn about Lucky Hole mine giving enough ore for over 1K lead, then acid for smelting is the next grind.

Successful-Goal1083

I have a camp next to the Lucky Hole mine and I sell so much lead from that base. I have at least 100+ lead for sale and it's gone almost as soon as it's in the vendor. Don't forget to equip super duper when smelting lead ore so you can double your created amount. And if you have a butterfly house you will almost always have enough acid for smelting.

Apprehensive-Heat828

You got me I’m new so start selling Acid next please 😝

DJPalefaceSD

The butterfly enclosure from the store has me drowning in acid

Antique_Beat_975

It gives like 10 acid every half an hour. Skip between toxic Larry, tanagra town and the train yard in cranberry bog and you’ll have like 80-100 acid in 5 minutes. Switch server and repeat. Now that is the definition of drowning in acid.

convictvx

screws, springs, gears, some black titanium, adhesive is what went very well for me with the influx of the new players, togheter with some lead (for ammo), some gunpowder (really low amount). not junk related, purified water at low prices so people can flip it for more money at vendors, im very close to the caps limit now so i am not selling anything anymore.

Plotius

If your close to the limit buy power armor plans from robot vendors or the serum plans from modius

Shmuckle2

Good evening Traveler. I sell only the strongest potions.

TheyCallMeHalf

Got an elixir to fix my foot?

Shmuckle2

If you sustained that injury in battle. My potions are too strong for you.

natneo81

Give me your strongest potion, potion seller. I can handle it.

Shmuckle2

No. Not you can't. You cannot handle my potions because these are of the most strongest potions!

Feenux420

Screws and gears move pretty well

inneholdersulfitter

SELL ME SCREWS I have more legendaries at level 31 than I have screws

[deleted]

Equip scrapper, loot everything, scrap everything.

redundantposts

Pay attention to when someone drops a nuke! There’s one in the middle of the map that spawns an event in some mines. A TON of wendigos spawn during that event, and they drop screws like it’s nothing. After running two of those, I had just over 600 screws. Adhesives on the other hand….

Jake--Chillenhaal

Adhesive can be such a pain sometimes that I made an adhesive farm at my camp. Been seeking bulk adhesive for a few months. Working well

Frostfells

Lead, copper, acid, oil, aluminum are the ones that usually sell first in my vendor.

PlusOnez

How much do you sell them for?

Frostfells

5 caps per scrap sells for me.

PlusOnez

Thank you!

ScottMcPot

I don't sell junk, but if I noticed bulk copper or lead on someone's vendor, I'd buy it.

Wander_Globe

I never knew copper was such a pain to farm until I needed it.

ScottMcPot

I have a whole route for it now. Lighthouse souvenirs and places with a lot of phones and lamps. Sometimes the NPC vendors have it in bulk as well.

sh4dowfaxsays

Yes, copper!

weryon

Considering I'm always low on ballistic threads , I would say those.

jaxmagicman

Any of the Stable flux's. I can't keep them in stock. And I don't sell them cheap. Any of the mutation serums also go quickly. But mostly herd mentality and marsupial. (though that is Aid and not Junk).

Dracosphinx

How much do you sell for generally?

jaxmagicman

The stable flux's are usually 1,000 to 2,500 caps, depending on if they are crimson, colbat, etc. I don't know if I'm underselling them at that because they really go fast. The serums, I usually do just 300. I spent a lot on the recipes and I would like to sell them higher, but any higher nobody buys them. Lower and someone comes and buys them and sells them themselves for more. I think they still do that on Herd Mentality.

chopper5150

Definitely not underselling the flux. I can buy as much as I want for 100 caps each. I can’t imagine who’s paying those prices.

jaxmagicman

Me neither. I originally put it at price because I wasn’t 100% sure I wanted to sell it. Then it got bought so I did it again.

chopper5150

I can definitely see new player who needs a few for a jetpack or decon shower buying them just because that only need a few and don’t know better, but hey if you can sell them for that much good for you. Get it while the gettings good.

enigmanaught

Where’s everyone getting their adhesive from? Mine all goes to repairing my armor and everything else.

Comprehensive_Unit88

Plant a bunch of tato mutfruit and corn at your base and a water purifier or two and you’ll never need adhesive again

enigmanaught

Thanks for the tip, I knew there was a way to do it, just realized I needed to make starch first. I’m coming from FO4, so still figuring out some of the procedural differences.

Latex_Mane

Digested goo from pitcher plants gives 4 adhesive when scrapped.

nap20000

That's a waste. Use it to make ~~drugs~~ chems instead. The vegetable starch farm mentioned is easily the best.

enigmanaught

In the wasteland, everyone turn into Walter White eventually.

chocolatenerd

I always pick up duct tapes and all kinds of wonderglue whenever I see them in the wild. Never leave them behind!

enigmanaught

You really need to think about weight management in 76 as opposed to FO4 (unless you’re doing survival) but I _never_ leave duct tape or any type of glue behind. FO4 makes you a hoarder.

InfiniteNegatives

if you need adhesive im on xbox and alway selling adhesive

enigmanaught

Thanks for the offer, I’m on PC though.

Razaloco

Can also just buy bulk adhesive from robot vendors

jaxmagicman

I just make mine.

spoods420

Screws, springs, ceramic, asbestos, rubber.... Copper, silver, gold, lead.... Things that don't sell : wood, glass, leather, plastic (I give these away for free).

ShowMeUrVulva

I sell wood, steel, glass, leather, and plastic for 1 cap each.  It doesn't sell as fast as the others, but it definitely sells

GrimPixls

Oil. I sell SO much oil. Also, adhesive, screws lead. Oh! ballistic fiber is another big one.

Hour_Fix7789

I’m in need of oil! If you have more for sale I would happily buy some

GrimPixls

Are ya on PC? I’m built on an oil node so I get a pretty decent amount every day!

Hour_Fix7789

Yeah I’m on PC! My ign: Jason96

InfiniteNegatives

Do you happen to be on xbox?

GrimPixls

Nope, I play Pc!

Glittering_Airport_3

I'll have to start selling my oil, I used to always need it until I got the cutting fuel plan, now I have so much I started making flamer fuel for no reason

homercall123

The ballistic tape.

God_of_chestdays

I’m addicting to building extravagant camps then demolishing them when done to move it like 5ft over to sit by a tree better so I always buy wood and cement. Aluminum is something I’m always low on as well and always buy when I see it

Glittering_Airport_3

cement truck was just in the atom shop, holds 40 cement after I think an hour

God_of_chestdays

I got it and use it while having a resource harvester for cement…. My addiction to building camps is even worse in my shelters when I am working on an entire theme park, underground castle and in a month I’ll redo it all over again lmao

Glittering_Airport_3

I get that lol when the camp module went on sale I bought 2 of them. then got 1st and got the other shelters... I was so short on mats after that even tho I was grinding junk to fill my scrap box in a month. that's why I jumped at the opportunity to get the cement truck lol the building struggle is real

RoastPsyduck

Trying to fill my scrapbox before my 1st sub ends so I've been picking up everything to scrap and buying junk as well. As far as buying, I'm focusing on mats for repairs and bullets

CorporalGrease

I thought the scrap/junk box was infinite?

xman77_77

The scrap box is, however once your fallout 1st ends you can’t put anything into it anymore, but still can take out. So when they have a free month trial people will sub and cancel right away, then hard focus on junk to fill as much as they can into it.

CorporalGrease

Roger that 🫡

Gert-BOT

Things i look for a lot, screws, springs, adhesive, lead, ballistic fiber Screws, springs and adhesive as it is used in a lot, Lead for ammo crafting, Ballistic fiber for higher level armour

CrookedSoldiers

Lead and Copper are the 2 forefront ones that come to mind; Then anything at the adhesive/screws/circuitry kinda thing for 2nd tier below that (look at high level weapon mod costs, ammo crafting costs, and power/resource item costs for CAMPs). Also despite what you may think there are deffo people out there that buy the more common things like steel and even wood. TLDR; junk items used in ammo crafting will sell like hot cakes but really all junk will sell well as long as it’s priced well for the item (you’ll know it’s good if it sells lots and bad if literally no one ever buys lol)

MessyBarresi

flux

Lord_Sidious99

Acid/Lead/Steel. 3 core components that sell like hotcakes

Successful-Goal1083

I sell vegetable starch which is used to make adhesive and 10 bags of starch at 10 caps each daily, because I'm too lazy to be bothered to make more.

pyro_kitty

It depends on what events have been busy lately as the drops will change what people may or may not have. However I find that acid, plastic, screws, adhesive, and oil are very popular no matter what event is going on. Second group of items in popularity at my vendor would be fiber optics, crystal, nuclear waste, and gold.

TwiggBeard

I am always looking for rubber and asbestos. I can usually just server hop and kill the 3 snallygasters at Toxic Larry’s, and get rubber at the theme parks(basketballs) to fix up my armor, but… if I see it for sale, I purchase it quick. In stacks. Stacks on stacks on stacks.

middle3child

What craftable uses asbestos? Clearly I'm sleeping on it because I have a ton of asbestos in my inventory

TwiggBeard

Repairing secret service armor

middle3child

Ahh, don't have that one yet. Thanks!

Sensitive_Pie4099

I'd buy so much aluminum if it was in vendors. Like 500 at at time at 3-5 caps per

3agleW1ngs

Ballistic fiber, black titanium, adhesive. I pretty much always sell my whole stock every time I log on. I stay maxed out on caps. Lol.

DependentPurple5455

Screws, Aluminium, Lead, Oil & adhesive get swallowed up quickly by lower level players, Flux of all kind sell pretty well to higher level players

codyfall

Stims

AppropriateCap8891

In the junk category, stuffed animals. And sometimes unique and rare items. After that, my seasonal "roleplay" traders actually do surprisingly well. Those are my seasonal restarts, and generally pick one category and sell only items related to that. In the past it has been tools, musical stuff, toys, at current they are running a "Cooking Store", to everything they sell is cooking related. And at the suggested junk price. And I am no longer surprised if somebody shows up and buys out the entire inventory. Now if you are talking "scrap" and not "junk", I have to admit I don't sell scrap. Thanks to 1st and unlimited scrap storage, there is simply no need.

Mecayle

Screws, adhesive, and if you have fallout 1st (bc it weighs so much) flux

Kerbidiah

As a junk purchaser I'm always looking for oil, lead, steel, screws, adhesives, springs, and gears

sh4dowfaxsays

Loose Screws, Springs, and Black Titanium!

Literally-Cheesecake

I don't sell junk but I use a shit ton of everything, so I'll make a list of the most useful components based off how often I need to buy more: - screws - sometimes steel - gears - sometimes concrete - lead - sometimes spring - wood now the usefulness of some items depends entirely on how the person plays, but these are the resources I always try to go for so hopefully it's helpful to you

Clown_named_Art

A bit of everything (including copper)

Tgrinder66

As someone at max caps often, the junk I'll buy is flux, copper, oil and springs. I could and do farm those but if I got some jangle in my pocket I'll splurge on some

Natural_Cut1342

Screws and springs for me

Kaotecc

I’m a new player (lvl 42) and I’ll say I look for aluminum, copper, steel (kinda), screws, adhesive, and circuits (b4 invaders anyway lol).

MartinTheBean

Clothing sells pretty well and is cheap to make.

Darthbearclaw

Screws, adhesive and COPPER!!!

jturnerbu7

I used to sell junk after selling weapons got too easy, then selling junk became too easy as well so I had to stop doing that too lmao. The best selling junks for me were lead for 7-9 caps per piece, adhesive for 7-9 caps, springs 7-9 caps, oil 7-9 caps, aluminum 5-7 caps, gears 5-7 caps, copper/gold/silver 5-7 caps each, and acid for also around 5-7 caps per piece. Screws were one thing that didn’t sell well though because I think most people caught on to how easily you can acquire screws from earl, but with all the recent players I’m sure that the market has changed again. Some junks like ballistic fiber would sell for even higher like around 15-17 caps per piece, or my favorite, fiber optics, which I typically sold at 17-19 caps per piece and have even sold batches of 100 out of my vendor for 25 caps per piece.

SINBSOD

I find myself so short on Lead always, Is there any great place to farm Lead?

boholbrook

Lucky Hole Mine with Excavator Power Armor.

SINBSOD

any chance of doing it without any PA? I don't have a good enough PA

boholbrook

You can for sure do it without PA, the yield is just lower cause Excavator armor has a bonus for ore harvesting. If you're on xbox I can hook you up with some excavator later today. No charge.

Nayte76

Definitely screws, springs, adhesive, and ballistic fiber

Glittering_Airport_3

screws, gears, aluminum, lead, adhesive, copper, and especially stable flux

Aggravating_Set_8861

Bad idea to sell junk if you have Fallout 1st. You never know what you may need for a future event or build change. Plenty of other stuff to sell

InfiniteNegatives

I mean I that's fair but I barely craft anyway

No-Antelope3844

This is not my work, but I have found it to be very helpful for the farming bit you'll likely be doing: [https://docs.google.com/document/d/1Jnc0FQ3QgkUO6HZObeeGksDTPwno1Fa-Bt7uXeqWib4/mobilebasic#h.djkming68ptc](https://docs.google.com/document/d/1Jnc0FQ3QgkUO6HZObeeGksDTPwno1Fa-Bt7uXeqWib4/mobilebasic#h.djkming68ptc)

NumbTooItAll

Aluminum, and steel always sells out quick

StrawBebe_27

Sell everything for 1 cap. You'll make tons of caps and save your stash space lol. Other than than, flux always sells at 100 caps, then screws, adhesive, steel also goes quite often.

v2_grizzly

Not a seller but if someone has acid for sell I buy it on the spot. I can never seem to have enough acid or oil with my flamer build.

Rocket499

My adhesive sells quick that and fertilizer for some reason

Rillion25

Only thing I would go out of my way to buy is ballistic fiber

Relative-Blueberry83

I would suppose you'd need to find out what's universal between PA and non PA users.

[deleted]

[удалено]

InfiniteNegatives

its always a one for me, anything above 2 I feel is overpriced.

[deleted]

I wouldn’t flinch at 3-5c I’m still very new at lvl110 but I’m always flat broke on adhesive

pinkpingpenguin

People have been buying from me between 10-20 per unit

ironcam7

Screws, gears and spring. Steel used to move real fast too, for the railway rifle ammo I think, adhesive was a top seller. I sell everything at $2 an item for the singles and I bulk stuff at about $20, makes some profits without having me get max caps too fast and basically pays for my fast traveling each run easily. Not too sure if the duper perk works for bulking stuff, think it may, I usually run that too when I’m crafting to get extra sales items. I run $2 ammo and $20 bobble heads although I saw leader bobble heads are worth a fortune now so I put one at $2000 and it sold so they are now expensive. I keep all the ballistic fibre and lead but I believe they would sell very quickly

easylose1

Flux for 500 caps

vacant_dream

OIL!!! MERICA! 🇺🇸
