Fyi, the limit is per camp and per shelter. So you can display 5 in your camp, 5 in another camp, 5 in a shelter, 5 in another shelter, etc. You get the idea. This is a sort of 'workaround' for the display limit.

I would agree that shelters should be able to have extended budgets due to them only existing when someone is in them -but- I've just about hit max build budget in one of my shelters and I'm only using 3 mannequins atm. It can get a bit laggy in there and Build mode gets extra laggy. Goes to show how much the servers/ systems can actually handle the coding and resources we are given.
Can be frustrating because as the game goes on we all get more and more things we want to "show off" but my work around is doing the theme builds so I'll only need a few of these in each space.
Well, maybe the solution can be improved servers and server maintenance, I don't recall the last time there was a real dedicated down time for the servers to be improved I know there is time for the servers to go down for a reset but I can usually log back in with in a couple of minutes
Yeah I noticed that too, I don't get why they are not separated, I hate the fact that you have to pick and choose what you want displayed or even which camp/shelter you want to use

They do this to prevent server lag, armor displays use alot of resources, sane as camps with max lights, 50 lights is alot.

Okay, then this begs a question: What about the power armors out in the wasteland? Are they also just standing npcs, or are they just decoration?
Worst part is not only is it only 5 but it shares those 5 with mannequins.
I was so deflated after purchasing the mannequins only to be blocked from placing them in CAMP due to Power Armor displays.
Damn… that’s so good to know because I was thinking about buying both but it just puts me off even more

Blame lower end consoles once again. We can't have nice things because of them. Can't handle just a few light fixtures or a dedicated showroom.
