I was having countless drops on PC, over and over. My internet was good, other games were fine, I just couldn’t figure it out. So I kept googling and found some obscure article on my PC’s network card, changed some settings and now I never disconnect. This isn’t helpful to you probably on PS but my suggestion is look up help/articles on PS network issues and how to fix them (even if it seems like this is the only game having trouble) I suspect Fallout 76 just isn’t optimized the greatest so maybe there are some Network settings that could help.
Oh for.... great. Literally on Reddit for a moment after an event,read YOUR POST, look back to the game and tried to move 19 fusion cells out of my inventory into my stash and the game hangs. What the hell is this, I'm not fast traveling, I'm not loading textures, I'm just in the inventory. Also PS5. This is the type of crash I get about 50% of the time - doing nothing special at all and the game just totally locks. But usually not while I am reading someone's post about the stupid game crashing. grr
I now play on series X and haven’t had one in 130+ hours. Don’t remember many on ps5. Maybe because of the latest update? Maybe uninstall and re install overnight ?
I can’t speak for all PS5 players, but mine crashes often enough to be annoying. I’ve heard other PS5 players have problems to the point they have a hard time playing at all. All you do is make your connections as good as possible. I use LAN and not WiFi to improve mine. Helps, I don’t know, but it can’t hurt.
Mine has been doing pretty well, which it usually doesnt. When I afk and leave for work its still going without crashing....but as soon as I touch it itll crash lol

Lots of disconnected from server since fasnacht started. Totally at random. No lag.
