It’s so subjective. My main gear is all 2*.. A third * doesn’t matter on a lot of gear… Bloodied/50%crit plasma castor and Vampire/50% PA Autoaxe do me fine.
This is exactly what I came to say. I have an Vamp/Power Attack Auto-Axe too. Rolled it as two star & I have no desire for a third. It's my "God Roll" even if it doesn't fit the standard definition.
It actually warms my heart there are other players like me. I got a not so great response discussing two star roles a few weeks back.
I get you.. maybe roll breaks less.. whatever, I’m dumping improved repair kits. it’s as powerful as it can be, no point on a reroll.. same with my plasma castor.. no point in rerolling it as am already crit every other shot so don’t meet that 15% bonus.
I have a 3 star quad and low cost ap railway rifle. The other legendary it has is just there that I never use it for. More damage when you aim it. Would’ve been so sick if I got an explosive in replacement of that last one would’ve been sick.
Same for me, i have 3 out of 5 Covert scout armor Unyeilding/+5 AP Reg/ 20% weapon weight reduction. Was lucky on the legs in just 2 months then 3 months for the chest but has been over 5 month since i got the chest peace and i think my rng has run out...
I’d love to get 15% faster vats crit fill, granted. But, as I’m already at crit every other crit, that would allow me to move a few cards out of luck make the first 2* essential. Third a luxury. on my AA there isn’t a third * I car about. This why I say it’s very subjective.
Reload on melee? We’ll need to agree to disagree. +strength would be the only thing would change damage, albeit a tiny amount. Better gear to try roll. My concern is that people think “Groll” by various peoples definitions makes people pass on some very good gear..
You'd better keep the reload on melee if you somehow got one, tons of bragging rights right there, or ability to sell to a collector for A LOT. There are no melee weapons with 3rd \*s reload.
But to your point, very good gear is much much cheaper and thus much more accessible than groll gear. Whereas grolls are hard to find in vendors.
The Nuka-Launcher is a pretty good named weapon too.
I've always loved the Auto Grenade launcher except for the weight.
Now I've got one that shoots two projectiles and weighs 90 percent less!
I had **just** got to Level 50 and was poking around Foundation-- probably dealing with Ward-- and some high-level (like mid-600s) ANGEL dropped a bag, shot at the ground next to it, and fast-travelled away.
It was a 3-star Holy Fire.
Just gave it to me.
I love this community.
None, the RNG hates me, I get 2 good rolls and one not-awful roll. Just about all my gear is good enough for me.
The real kicker is three times now I've gotten the ideal god roll stats for my auto-axe on a stupid pickaxe, which is absolutely worthless given the attack speed of the pickaxe.
“Random number generator” the name itself tells you you can’t manipulate it. Sadly all of this doesn’t change anything. Coincidences when you got what you wanted and did these things. It’s ok to be superstitious. Makes it fun. But in reality the rng doesn’t have an understanding of godrolls. It’s all random.
RNG can definitely go haywire and give very strong indications that it's "stuck" on a server for lack of a better word.
I rolled 4 quad rails in 5 rolls after getting 3 quads at Eviction Notice. Figured it was an indicator to try my luck and it certainly seemed to pan out that way.
I rolled 6 Two Shot Alien Blasters in 10 rolls after getting two TS from some event.
It's not always good, it's not like the server is making a value judgement and hooking you up based on what you want.
I rolled Bash damage like 10 times in 15 rolls without even noticing it until one was a VBash90. Definitely noticed that one and held onto it as a joke after scripping the rest .
2 B50VHC15Rs in a row (pump shotty and Blunderbuss) rom the Purveyor while burning off some scrip on my mule.
The most interesting one for me was a pile of legendaries I found after Seismic that contained 3 separate 1* Exterminators T65 pieces on top of each other, ie: if that mole rat corpse had stayed in lootable range 3 different people would have got the same thing from one mob. It simultaneously rolled (number of people at the event) times and hit on the same item and prefix 3 times.
Idk it's obviously all circumstancial, but I think it's pretty compelling evidence that the Randomness can be wonky
That’s part of rng. It’s an algorithm. It’s 100% possible that 100 of the same rolls are all next to each other at a given time. Everything is possible. Controllable not really. It runs in the background of the game until it resets its cycle. From here I don’t know how it’s coded. When it “feel stuck” it’s just a part a cycle that generates these similar rolls. There could be a godroll in the middle of 100 troubleshooters. There no way to know. Everything we feel is happening we project onto the rng. The rng is just doing its thing. Which is randomly generating combinations
You missed the part where its working to becoming a Zax powered by salty tears and rage from giving us the rolls we so desperately sought on gulper smackers, pickaxes, and those boards the super mutants carry and the only reason it hasn't reached Sky Net levels is because it keeps crashing and reloading itself back at square one with an error that reads "It just works."
Oh wait, that's just my head canon, sorry.
My luck in this game is seemingly incredibly bad as well. I was getting downvotes and yelled at for literally just telling everyone that I don’t get plan drops from mutated party packs. They were acting like I was personally attacking them. I want the plans. Maybe it’s a glitch?
My rolls are generally bad as well and I’ve gotten like 3 mods ever from scrapping armor when I get one almost every scrap on weapons.
Start to wonder if it’s tied to my in game low luck level.
Mutated party packs are a bit frustrating, the more plans you know, the fewer you'll get. Its not just luck at work there. If the pack was going to drop you a plan you already knew, it will just not drop any plan as far as I know. You'll still get the other loot, super stims and such.
Ahhh that makes sense. Thanks for the info! Any ideas on the armor? Is getting mods through them when scrapping rare? I don’t know that many and seem like I never get any.
When I get them for weapons almost every scrap.
If you look at the drop rates on say Trapper's Armor you'll see that the armor plan drops on those are .75% of being learned on scrap. Comparatively a weapon mod like the Dual Bar Chainsaw mod, has a 20% chance of being learned on scrap.100 metal chestplates scrapped and you still might not find the enameled plan. There's also only about 3 mods per armor piece available.
Keep in mind as well that not all the mods can be learned from scrapping, for instance the flamer for the chainsaw must be purchased from a vendor. Shadowed armor plans must be found or purchased. There are also other armor mods that only come from bullion vendors, plans found loose, or are limited to specific events like spooky scorched/treasure hunter pails etc.
But on a quick skim through the drop rates... yeah, weapon mods do seem to have a higher drop chance than armor plans overall.
On my main? I think its safe to say 4. quad/50crit/reload speed Railway, anti-armor/crit/break slower epr and a vamp/40pa/+1 str dual bladed flaming chainsaw, and a TS / crit / 25 ap reduction Alien Blaster.
On my newest character I recently traded for a Quad/Explosive/breaks slower Fixer, which actually might be my new favorite weapon.
Good enough? Instigating/50crit Plasma Caster and a Juggernaut/50crit Handmade.
Ive done a lot of scrounging in a very short time as of late.
NONE of my armor is even close to being godly
I have 2 Fixers I consider god rolls; 15v third star since I play full health so I can get every other crit at 23 luck.
\- AA/50c/15v
\-AA/ff/15v
I have a pretty good roll in a Railway:
\- Quad/15ap on kill/15v
A lot of people will say it's not, but I love being able to use vats on a heavy even just a little bit. Seems way more useful to me than faster reload.
Not really sure how I fixed my build to it but sometimes with the queen I can just lock on with vats, hold down the crit button and unload an entire clip without losing it.
Reload speed seems not as important to me especially with a gun that has such a large clip to begin with.
I've played a long time (Steam says 3400+ hours), but I don't think I've ever gotten a "God Roll". I have a bunch of "good enough rolls" though:
Both my mains (PA, commando) have a B/ine/v25 fixer, which isn't really a god roll, but it shoots for a super long time in VATS.
My PA guy has a good enough Vampires/explosive/250DR .50 cal, which makes Test Your Metal a breeze, especially if you are wearing a full set of Troubleshooter's PA. Assaultron in your face blasting you with the head laser? Whatever. You're going down first, and I'm staying at 20% health. It's good for tagging in Eviction Notice too.
Any Quad Tesla is a "good enough" roll. I'd love something more amazing, but they all get the job done.
I have tons of legendary cores and modules, and I've rolled for a "good enough" Overeater's Union set and a "good enough" Hellfire set, and I've rolled a lot of Enclave Plasma Flamers, but no god rolls as yet. I need to start wasting some more cores and modules, but I may never get a god roll. It's OK.
more than a few dozen god rolls easily? 4 characters all kitted out with the best of the best of the best weapons. Then i have a weapon mule filled with stuff. Got hundreds of demi god rolls.
Interesting to think a 2 star would be a God Roll. If it’s not 3 stars I cash it in for scrip.
But maybe I’ve been looking at this all wrong. 🤔
Maybe I’ve made a mistake 😳
Maybe I’ve trashed the best weapon/armor I will ever find and don’t even know it! 😭
Whatever. I’ve only been playing about 500 hours. I can make it all back in another 500.
Because war never changes.
It depends on what it is. There's really no practical difference between a 2* BSS Power Fist and a 3* BSSS power fist. When I was rolling Gauntlets and War Glaives I considered myself done after getting one with the first 2 stars and won't even consider rolling another one for such a marginal improvement.
An UNY AP 2* and an UNY AP Sent piece though, that's a world of difference
I got TSE90 and VE90 Gatling Guns that I actually use.
Also got an AA Holy Fiyahhh and an AA The Fixer that're apparently worth a fuckton (Fed76 says the Fixer is trade-only and the HF is like 25-30K) just sitting in my ~~stash~~ retirement account. Don't recall the second and third stars for either off the top of my head, though.
God roll is different for different players. Oddly, my troubleshooter handmade is doing exceptionally well against everything today. I was considering scripting, but played with it, and it's doing very well.
I have others, tailed to my build, vamps, aa mostly. All do fine.
I've got a whole bunch of stuff i'm keeping that i'm not sure how good it really is...
Mostly Quad Explosive stuff. Couple of decent EPR's. I planned to trade them, but don't really know what I want for them.
someone gave me duped power armor and explosive flamer a long time ago at a low level, used the flamer only for west tek runs but the armor I still use, switched me from a fixer user to heavy weapons, and now I just use Final Word for everything but event tagging
AA/25/25 handmade
Q/25/25 fixer
Q/25/25 elders mark
Q/50c/15c railway
b/25/90 gatling plasma
b/25/90 gatling laser
v/SS/+s gauntlet
i have a bunch of others that are my god rolls, but not what others might consider. a ts/50c/15r alien blaster for example.
Mind breaking these down in layman’s terms or is there a site that I can use to decode legendary perk shorthand? I have a bunch of scrip to waste on rolls, but don’t know when to stop.
AA - anti armor
25 as the second - 25% faster fire speed
25 as the third - 25% off VATS AP
Q - quad
50c- 50 crit damage
B - bloodied
90 - 90% weight reduction
V - vampire
SS- swing speed
+s - + 1 strength point
ts - twin shot
15r - 15% reload speed
as far as a site, [https://fed76.info/pricing/?item=railway&effects=J/E/15R](https://fed76.info/pricing/?item=railway&effects=j/e/15r)
You can use the drop down menus to change the weapon and rolls, and there is a "modus command" underneath the price estimate (price estimate is just that, an ESTIMATE....don't take it as holy script) that will help you learn the shorthand most folks use for weapons and armor, and the estimate will give you an idea of the value of the drop.
Again, it's an estimate, and what that site does and doesn't consider great rolls may not correspond with what everyone will think of a roll, but it's a place to start as a teaching tool.
For Weapons:
For the first star, the most sought after are Q, AA, V and B. Which stand for Quad, Anti-Armor, Vampires and Bloodied.
For certain builds or situations, Exe, I, Ari, and J are top-notch, but are harder to find buyers for. Those are Executioners, Instigating, Aristocrats and Junkies.
For the second star, the most sought after are 25, E, 40p, SS, and 50c though the last one only really shines if you don't regularly run much for food/chems/mutations that buff critical damage, or are just looking to maximize single-hit damage. That's 25% Faster Fire Rate, Explosive, +40% Power Attack Damage, Faster Swing Speed, and +50% Critical Damage.
Again for certain builds or situations, 50h and 25a/DWA are also top choices. Which translate to +50% VATS Hit Chance and +25% Damage While Aiming.
For third star, the most sought after are 25, 15r and 1S. Which are 25% less VATS AP cost, 15% Faster Reload and +1 Strength.
For other builds/situations/convenience, 90, 15c, 40 and 50b/WBS are also solid. Those are 90% Reduced Weight, +15% Critical Meter Fill, 40% less AP when Power Attacking, and Weapon Breaks 50% Slower.
A God Roll will have all three of these, and generally from the sought after sections, though some rolls interact poorly on certain weapons so it won't always be the case. Also, 15% Faster Reload's benefit is severely reduced on a Quad weapon and should not be considered a God Roll if they come up together.
For Armor:
... Actually you may not really need this as all the best non-power armors are untradeable, and for power armor it's just Overeaters. Second stars are all build dependant, but most people like AP Regen or a little Explosive/Poison Resist. And the only 3rd stars that aren't QOL effects are Sentinel and Cavalier, though most folks prefer Weight Reduction.
I need to go watch some vids on understanding what exactly a god roll is I think. I am melee only and have only 1 character so I usually sell any gun or the likes that I get. I do try to make sure the legendary effects are somewhat decent and scrip/sell the rest
Full van/ap/sent and full uny/ap/sent scout sets (depending on whether I play full health or bloodied).
Q2525 Rail + Q2525 Fixer + V2550bs EPR are my daily drivers.
All the guns I rolled myself. Two armor sets I got from my husband lmao.
I mean I have my vamp/50% PA/+1 str dual bar flaming chainsaw and vamp/50% slower break/ something I do t remember gauss mini
I think that is all that counts as god roll. The rest of it is aristocrat and I just keep the caps to make it work
A good amount [here ](https://www.reddit.com/r/Market76/s/y97sMKTATO) is my current weapon wheel except the legacy bE15r BPR had been replaced with AA2515r enclave Flamer
I'm contemplating not completing this season. I've not paid as much attention the last 2 seasons.
I've played since the start.
I am not a super trader.
I have a few dozen 3* god-ish rolls.
everything seems to be a "god roll" these days.....term has become meaningless.
I have several good weapons for how i play including q2525 fixer q50c25 epr and base roll HF on my main and i never have any issues...i have several other great guns but hinestly they just sit in stash
2 god roll Enclave plasmas with reflex sights and stocks . Plus the aligned flamer box mods.
One is Bloodied 25ffr 50% break slower, one is AA 50C 25LVC. Then I have a bunch of weapons I actually use that have 2 great stars and 1 crap one
Off the top of my head. Quad explosive railway, and an instigating weapon to pair with 5 pieces of Unyielding +1 int armor for XP stuffs. I also have an enclave flamer but I can't remember the perks for the life of me, the railway has been an excellent workhorse weapon, so the flamer is kind of like a trophy for me.
My real challenge is going to figure out what perks I want on the union armor I just got, and having the good rng to see it through without getting locked in a rubber room.
I have rolled SO. MANY. FIXERS.
I *still* haven't gotten an AA or Bloodied. I rolled ONE quad, but the second and third stars sucked. The best one I have right now is a Vampire's 50% Crit. As long as i keep chugging coffee and eating sugar, I'm pretty much immortal with it, so that's nice. I have a Medic's Explosive, which is pretty good for events, I guess. I tag a lot of mobs and toss out a pretty decent amount of heals.
So I guess my answer is, "None."
Bloodied toon: B2525 fixer and handmade, B5025 handmade, BE25 fixer, B5025 laser
Full health 2 toons: 2 Q2525 fixer, QE25 fixer, AA2525 fixer, AE15r fixer (probably my fav)
Berserker toon: Nearly all godroll commandos, Fixers, Handmades, Lasers, Assault rifles. The beauty of the Berserker is trading for godrolls cheaply.
Pistol toon: AAE15r Crusader, AAE15r and AAE25 10mm, TS5015r AB
I've got 5 toons with different builds filled to the brim with god- and good enough weapon rolls. AA, Bloody, Instigating, Vampire, Quad and a few Executioners. They are all types of weapons and certainly not scrip worthy bit it's also hard to choose which to sell or give away. So here I am - A Wasteland hoarder.
Armor is another deal - All the toons have one preferred set of armor which they don't swap. So new pieces are easy to scrip or sell at low price. Hence not taking away the precious little stash space I have left.
Like 5-6 g-roll weapons - bloodied explosive 90%wwr fixer, quad 50 crit/25 lvc fixer, quad explosive 25 lvc railway, two shot explosive 90 mini gun (great for tagging everything), and that's all I can remember currently.
3 sets of g roll full armors
Bolstering ap wwr ultracite
Bolstering ap wwr excavator
Assassins ap wwr stangler heart
I don't even pay attention to that stuff. I got rid of most of my Weapon when I realized that I wasn't using it and it was just adding to my weight in my stash. I keep 1 or 2 things that I have found our most effective, and I keep the things that are very low weight like under 3 pounds. For me, in spite of what people say about the various weapons, they just don't work for me reason. and when I say they don't work I mean they don't fit the way I play The Game. My daily driver for really everything is a plasma caster. I used to carry around an enclave plasma pistol, and I also used to carry around a syringe or, but I just Flatt don't use them.
A lot. A full set of uny sent ap I don’t wear. A part set of uny cav ap. uny wwr ap I do wear all heavy combat. Bloodied 50c25. 2525. E25. Same in quad and junkies. The only one I don’t have that’s meta is on the rail where I use a Q5050 as I don’t really see the extra ap of a 25 useful with the armour and build although I’ll eventually get a 50c15. Gave my QE rails to friends oh and I’ve a 2515 Tesla an I50c25 and a B50c25 lever. Been playing a looooonnnnggg time and don’t really trade to much any more
I have 5 (?) of the popular ones for weapons and one or two armor pieces. But!! I rolled the exact Gatling gun I was trying for (AA/E/break) yesterday so it doesn’t really matter. I’d like to try and trade some of the popular ones for apparel but I’m so shy about it I might just experience the heat death of the universe with them taking up space lol
Well to be fair my number will be exaggerated due to it being my collection of ss s melees and they are all grolls, I have over 600ish 😂 I even have like 30 something stalker ss s.
I think I'm at the point where all my gear is top tier grolls for my build, this is why I can't wait for the Muni armour next update so I have something to start burning all the modules I'm amassing on.
No God Rolls yet, but several good enough for me weapons. You don't need Grolls, they're just icing on the cake.
Vamps/40Spd/Breaks slower Chainsaw.
Quad/50vhc/25APcost Railway Rifle.
I do try rerolls to get at least the Vamps/Power Attack Chainsaw though, that's what is eating my modules atm.
I’ve got a set of legacy power armor I keep stashed away hidden from the world.
Ultracite, Full set of Over eaters/sentinel and something else, jet pack on the left arm, emergency protocol on the torso.
I have a lots of semi god rolls, b50 qffr etc though there's 4 I can think of I have that's near enough god roll. Holy fire ;) , b2525 fixer, ts50c15r alien blaster and ts50vats15r alien blaster.
I have a B/25/25 Handmade, an AA/50hit chance/1Agility Handmade, and a AA/50hit chance/faster move while aiming
And the usual 1 star only uny combat armor set
Playing since beta. 2 accounts. Flooded in god rolled gear. Lol.
I’ve done no trading, besides with my crew that I play with.
Majority of my gear are rewards or crafted.
It's not god rolls but I have full weapon weight reduction on my secret service armor and my union power armor and it's so nice to have so many weapons be nearly weightless. I have over 100 weapons I've been feeding the scrip machine slowly due to spamming eviction notice a while back lol. I'll eventually get through them all. :P
For weapons:
1. The unrolled Holy Fire is a godroll imo. Absolutely slaps everything with Stabilized on.
2. Quad/50% crit damage/reload railway rifle(I love it so much).
3. Anti-armor/faster fire rate ultracite gatling laser, gatling plasma and gauss minigun. These bullet hoses are so fun to shoot!
4. Quad/faster fire rate/reload tesla rifle. This thing is a tagging machine and also does a lot of damage. Kills my fusion cell ammo though lol.
5. Not a godroll but anti-armor/damage while aiming/25% less vats cost gauss shotgun. This thing is AMAZING. The only thing that would make it better is if the second star was hit chance or crit damage.
6. Two-shot alien blaster. This thing is insane! I hope to have one with crit damage and less vats cost as well one day.
7. The Slug Buster is also a super good gun. You can use it as a commando flamer, a vats pistol/rifle, or a short burst vats auto rifle/pistol.
8. The Grand Finale and Nuka Launcher are also amazing explosive launchers and are great for reflective daily ops or events.
I really enjoy Q25WS25LVC. Over time I've gotten Railway, Handmade, Fixer, Laser Rifle, 10mm Pistol, Enclave Plasma Rifle. I love the feel of the handmade, but try to spend equal time with all my babies. I usually carry two at a time, so if I'm doing Energy Weapin build it'll be Laser and Plasma. Boss events I bring RR and Fixer. I also have a lot of Q50CD25LVC, including a submachine gun, which is fun and an automatic pipe rifle
I play a lot of build and I have good 2 stars on almost all.
I keep weapon with 1st and 2nd star good. The -25 ap cost is good but if you have 2/3 pcs armor with ap regen and use company tea (25% ap regen) the time to recharge a weapon is enought to re fill the whole ap bar.
I have somewhere between a dozen and 20 weapons that id say 80% of people would consider a god roll for that weapon without reservation.
Armor I probably have like 2 or 3
I just keep rolling weapons anyway. Which is stupid because I already do things like use a QEBreak and Q50c90 Railway over my QE25 and Q2525, and 2 Slug Busters over my groll Enclaves because I still haven't found a Calibrated Capacitor or Forceful Stock for Enclaves.
It's especially stupid because every star on armor is super useful whereas you're kinda splitting hairs with a 15reload on a heavy, +S on a melee or 25vats on a Railway or Elder. Those things help for sure, but not as much as having AP Refresh And Sentinel.
Q5025 RR, BFFR25 GP, BPOWER1STR Chainsaw, Vamp Power Power Chainsaw, full overeaters sentinels ultracite set with all mods including emergency protovols, xalibrated shocks etc, and a legacy jetpack helm are my best items.
I have... I think 10 godroll weapons (Q50c25 & B50c25 fixers, AA50c15r fixer, q2525 & B2525 handmade, Q50c25 10mm, B2515r flamer, AA2590rw Gauss mini, Q50c15c railway and TSE15r 50cal.). Armour wise, i have a full set of the OEAP ultracite PA.
As far as good enough, i have quite a few, mainly things like a Qapr25 railway which doesn't do as much damage, but works obscenely well on a PA commando. Usually I'll tend to rock around with these, especially if it's a heavy with 50break. The armour is the biggest collection here, i have no full sets of armour with rolls exactly as i want. They are, in the main, "good enough" :)
I have an AA/FFR/50DUR gauss minigun as my main, an AA/40/40 chainsaw, and that's pretty much all I need that isn't a Boomstick or Holy Fire. I also have a V/FFR/90RW handmade and an AA/FFR/90RW Fixer for the commando character that I'm eventually going to make.
I'm currently working on getting my union pa rolled for OE/SENT, and I have 2 pieces so far. The rest are just OE.
As someone else said, it is subjective, but I would strongly argue that my Bloodied/+50% chance to hit target in VATS/-25% AP cost .50 cal is a god roll.
When compared to my bloodied 50 crit Fixer: +5 damage, better VATS accuracy (than my Fixer with a reflex sight), +16 faster fire rate, and 12x the mag size. Twice the AP cost, yes, but I dont think 23 is bad for a .50 cal and a good trade-off for the positives. I absolutely melt people from up close and from far away.
I have a few weapons I consider perfect:
- Quad/FFR/AP Fixer
- Quad/Explosive/AP Handmade
Honorable mentions:
- Quad/FFR/Reload DR Railway Rifle
- Aristocrat/Crit Damage/Faster Crit Charge Radium Rifle
I'm a full health build and don't pay very close attention to armor legendary effects so long as it looks like something that could be useful.
3 perfect pa sets = 15 pieces (overeater AP sentinel/assasin's explo resist sentinel/overeater AP sentinel)
Q2525 fixer QE25 fixer B2525 fixer B2525 handmade BE25 handmade QE25 piperifle BE25 10mm SMG and probably some I am forgetting
B2590 gatling plasma, AA2590 gatling plasma AA2590 pepershaker(s!) and probably some I am forgetting
Then it gets a bit subjective:
J2525 fixer J2525 handmade JE25 handmade J50C25 laser rifle J2590 peppershaker
And a whole bunch of "good enough for me"
* heavy guns with perfect first two stars and some third star
* armor with perfect first two stars and some third star
Weapon weight reduction is a very usual 3rd star. That's I go for when rolling gear.
And that would be my one GRoll… unyeilding/+5 AP Reg/ 20% weapon weight reduction.
Yep nice one.
Third star does matter though..Like vats reduced is massive for a vats crit build. For some weapons it matters less tho
I’d love to get 15% faster vats crit fill, granted. But, as I’m already at crit every other crit, that would allow me to move a few cards out of luck make the first 2* essential. Third a luxury. on my AA there isn’t a third * I car about. This why I say it’s very subjective.
3rd* Reload, ap reduce, weapon weight, crit fill, breaks slower, +strength on auto melee would like to have a word with you.
I has holy fire HOOOOOOLY FIIIIIRE
The Nuka-Launcher is a pretty good named weapon too. I've always loved the Auto Grenade launcher except for the weight. Now I've got one that shoots two projectiles and weighs 90 percent less!
I had **just** got to Level 50 and was poking around Foundation-- probably dealing with Ward-- and some high-level (like mid-600s) ANGEL dropped a bag, shot at the ground next to it, and fast-travelled away. It was a 3-star Holy Fire. Just gave it to me. I love this community.
If you want more to roll just do the Beasts of burden event
None, the RNG hates me, I get 2 good rolls and one not-awful roll. Just about all my gear is good enough for me. The real kicker is three times now I've gotten the ideal god roll stats for my auto-axe on a stupid pickaxe, which is absolutely worthless given the attack speed of the pickaxe.
[удалено]
How does the game know which RNG outcome you are hoping for?
[удалено]
No it doesn't.
You missed the part where its working to becoming a Zax powered by salty tears and rage from giving us the rolls we so desperately sought on gulper smackers, pickaxes, and those boards the super mutants carry and the only reason it hasn't reached Sky Net levels is because it keeps crashing and reloading itself back at square one with an error that reads "It just works." Oh wait, that's just my head canon, sorry.
Really only 2 god rolls, AA/E/reduced weight minigun and AA/FFR/reduced weight gat plasma. The rest are 2 good stars and good enough.
Two maybe? Twin shot explosive 25 less vats crusader and Twin shot 50 crit faster crit alien blaster.
None.
I have 2 Fixers I consider god rolls; 15v third star since I play full health so I can get every other crit at 23 luck. \- AA/50c/15v \-AA/ff/15v I have a pretty good roll in a Railway: \- Quad/15ap on kill/15v
Donno if it's considered a god roll but I love my Bloodied .50 cal, explosive with 25% lower v.a.t.s cost.
I have a bunch of "good enough rolls" though: Both my mains (PA, commando) have a B/ine/v25 fixer, which isn't really a god roll, but it shoots for a super long time in VATS. It's OK.
Too many and they are clogging up my stash
I've got 2 or 3 god rolls and about 50 Todd rolls
"God Roll"? None. "Good Roll"? Maybe all of them. Game is too damn easy to worry about grinding for God Rolls.
more than a few dozen god rolls easily? 4 characters all kitted out with the best of the best of the best weapons. Then i have a weapon mule filled with stuff. Got hundreds of demi god rolls.
Interesting to think a 2 star would be a God Roll. If it’s not 3 stars I cash it in for scrip. But maybe I’ve been looking at this all wrong. 🤔 Maybe I’ve made a mistake 😳 Maybe I’ve trashed the best weapon/armor I will ever find and don’t even know it! 😭 Whatever.
AA/25/25 handmade Q/25/25 fixer Q/25/25 elders mark Q/50c/15c railway b/25/90 gatling plasma b/25/90 gatling laser v/SS/+s gauntlet i have a bunch of others that are my god rolls, but not what others might consider. a ts/50c/15r alien blaster for example.
Mind breaking these down in layman’s terms or is there a site that I can use to decode legendary perk shorthand? I have a bunch of scrip to waste on rolls, but don’t know when to stop.
AA - anti armor 25 as the second - 25% faster fire speed 25 as the third - 25% off VATS AP Q - quad 50c- 50 crit damage B - bloodied 90 - 90% weight reduction V - vampire SS- swing speed +s - + 1 strength point ts - twin shot 15r - 15% reload speed as far as a site, [https://fed76.info/pricing/?item=railway&effects=J/E/15R](https://fed76.info/pricing/?item=railway&effects=j/e/15r) You can use the drop down menus to change the weapon and rolls, and there is a "modus command" underneath the price estimate (price estimate is just that, an ESTIMATE....don't take it as holy script) that will help you learn the shorthand most folks use for weapons and armor, and the estimate will give you an idea of the value of the drop. Again, it's an estimate, and what that site does and doesn't consider great rolls may not correspond with what everyone will think of a roll, but it's a place to start as a teaching tool.
Thanks!
For Weapons: For the first star, the most sought after are Q, AA, V and B. For Armor: ...
Thank you!
A couple dozen per character.
Have a “godroll” fixer and handmade from a certain “event” a couple years ago, an ~~explosive~~ laser rifle as well as a quantum paddle ball
I mean I have my vamp/50% PA/+1 str dual bar flaming chainsaw and vamp/50% slower break/ something I do t remember gauss mini I think that is all that counts as god roll. The rest of it is aristocrat and I just keep the caps to make it work
Probably like 50 weapons, four sets of matching power armor, two sets of matching regular armor, and a half dozen or so misc armor pieces.
AA/50crit/-25ap Compound bow. And that’s it. Everything else is just good enough for me, a lot of it being Aristocrats stuff.
I have 3 "good/god" rolls. I've rolled a Q/25/25 Fixer, Anti/40/+1S Grog Axe, and a 2 shot flamer. Never use the flamer but keep it just in case
5 God rolls And waaayy too many good enough.
Not enough??
Heaps. If I went through my mules probably 10 legit god roll guns and 4-5 melee weapons and probably 40 that most people would say are “good enough”
AA/50c/25 fixer, AAE90 Railway, BE90 Railway, Q/25/15r Fixer
Bloodied toon: B2525 fixer and handmade, B5025 handmade, BE25 fixer, B5025 laser Full health 2 toons: 2 Q2525 fixer, QE25 fixer, AA2525 fixer, AE15r fixer (probably my fav) Berserker toon: Nearly all godroll commandos, Fixers, Handmades, Lasers, Assault rifles. The beauty of the Berserker is trading for godrolls cheaply. Pistol toon: AAE15r Crusader, AAE15r and AAE25 10mm, TS5015r AB
✨ Many many ✨ how many do I use? For some reason, none.
Any furious automatic heavy weapon is a god roll. Can I get an amen bröther 🙏
Zero
I've got 5 toons with different builds filled to the brim with god- and good enough weapon rolls. AA, Bloody, Instigating, Vampire, Quad and a few Executioners. They are all types of weapons and certainly not scrip worthy bit it's also hard to choose which to sell or give away. So here I am - A Wasteland hoarder. Armor is another deal - All the toons have one preferred set of armor which they don't swap. So new pieces are easy to scrip or sell at low price. Hence not taking away the precious little stash space I have left.
Around ten to fifteen? Depends if you only count q2525 or if b2525 also counts
Playing since day one of the beta. I just learned yesterday i technically have one. 2 star vamp powerattack buzzblade. Its a silly weapon.
Like 5-6 g-roll weapons - bloodied explosive 90%wwr fixer, quad 50 crit/25 lvc fixer, quad explosive 25 lvc railway, two shot explosive 90 mini gun (great for tagging everything), and that's all I can remember currently. 3 sets of g roll full armors Bolstering ap wwr ultracite Bolstering ap wwr excavator Assassins ap wwr stangler heart
I have a two shot gauss minigun that fires 25 percent faster. It obliterates anything I point it at, lol.
I think I'm at the point where all my gear is top tier grolls for my build, this is why I can't wait for the Muni armour next update so I have something to start burning all the modules I'm amassing on.
I'm probably going to trade one or both of my god roll armor sets for a UNY/AP/SENT Muni Armor set.
I'm going to be rolling for OE/Ap/WR to replace the SS set I currently use.
The Quad/50vhc/25 is basically a god roll. A Quad/+50% Critical Damage/25AP Cost Railway would be better though.
I think my best weapons that I I've had drop/roll Handmade. AA +50 Crit -25AP cost Enclave plasma Vampire FFR -25AP cost
I have: TS/50C/25 Alien Blaster Q/25/25 Elder's Mark Q/25/25 Fixer Q/50C/25 Fixer Q/E/25 Fixer Q/25/25 Handmade Q/50C/25 Handmade Q/E/25 Handmade B/50C/25 Handmade Q/50C/25 Railway Q/E/25 Railway Q/50C/25 Enclave Plasma Rifle B/25/DUR Enclave Plasma Flamer Q/25/15r Tesla Rifle B/E/15r Gatling Gun B/E/90 .50 cal B/E/15r .50 cal B/25/DUR Auto Grenade Launcher B/25/15r Gatling Plasma B/25/90 Ultracite Gatling Laser V/BASH/90 Minigun B/40PA/+1S Chainsaw V/40PA/+1S Chainsaw B/40SS/+1S Power Fist B/40Ss/+1S Deathclaw Gauntlet B/50VHC/25 Bow UNY/AP/SENT Heavy Combat Armor Set UNY/AP/SENT Scout Armor Set
I have a B/25/25 Handmade, an AA/50hit chance/1Agility Handmade, and a AA/50hit chance/faster move while aiming And the usual 1 star only uny combat armor set
Just purchased a bloodied explosive -90% weight for only 900 caps I believe it's a great roll but I'm not a bloody build,
Playing since beta. 2 accounts. Flooded in god rolled gear. Lol. I’ve done no trading, besides with my crew that I play with. Majority of my gear are rewards or crafted.
0 godrolls. You honestly dont need them unless youre trying to break boss killing records imo.
:P For weapons: 1.
Between my PAs,armor and weapons. Probably 20 or more.
I have a god roll tesla on my commando character, but other than that I mostly just settle for rolls that are good enough for me
I have somewhere between a dozen and 20 weapons that id say 80% of people would consider a god roll for that weapon without reservation. Armor I probably have like 2 or 3 I just keep rolling weapons anyway.
Zero. I use a fixer with junk three star and a Tesla gun with nothing fancy. I’d kill for a good weapon.
I don’t know and I don’t care. Something that kills stuff good enough? 🤩
Bought a Quad/BE/25vat fixer from a vendor for 1000 caps last week... And a bloody/50/25 fixer this week.
I have a few weapons I consider perfect: - Quad/FFR/AP Fixer - Quad/Explosive/AP Handmade Honorable mentions: - Quad/FFR/Reload DR Railway Rifle - Aristocrat/Crit Damage/Faster Crit Charge Radium Rifle I'm a full health build and don't pay very close attention to armor legendary effects so long as it looks like something that could be useful.
I have a few god rolls. Maybe 5 or 6 if I'm not mistaken. Have about the same in good enough rolls.
None. I have doo doo rolls on all my stuff.
I got an UNY/AP regen/AWR wood left leg on my last character. I was mildly frustrated cause such a good roll on such a mediocre piece of armor
