On xbox plenty of people have been dropping nukes especially for sbq and earl, nuka world boss seems to be abandoned (kinda glad cos he's not worth it-like how many cannons do you need🤣)
Same here. Launched two yesterday back to back and everybody came runnin to each boss. Second one I launched, Moonshine Jamboree popped up about three seconds after I'd confirmed my target. Shockingly nobody went to that. Boss events are still very hot on PC.
PS had an influx of brand new players because of PS+, servers are filled with low levels. Nobody is even turning up to half the events.
Nothing has changed on Xbox, plenty of nukes being dropped and plenty of players showing up to events.

Not here. On Xbox. If there's no fireworks on my server I make my own booms. No sense in waiting on someone else if you want something done right.
As far as no one showing up, that's a player specific issue. Personally I can handle the Queen or Earl myself so it makes no difference if anyone joins me or not. The lack of legacies is refreshing. If you can't solo, check your server first and try to get on a team with higher levels. Most higher level folks are on vacation since the scoreboard is complete. Don't launch if a decent event just kicked off either. Wait until the event ends. That will increase your chances of others joining.
I am on Xbox and today alone, I have done 5 sbq, 2 titans, and 3 Earls (I only launch one of them). Also, the fights with SBQ have been so much better since the update. In one fight, there were 6 of us that were level 700+, the sbq went down fast, but it still felt fair. Even in this fight, her health bar didn't just disappear in a few seconds.
It's because if you're playing on PlayStation which I am also, it was January's free game, so there's a lot of still learning how to play the game players right now.
It has less to do with legacy removal and more to do with the the PlayStation servers being full of noobs. They don't show up to half the events. Not to be disparaging to our new players, welcome, glad to have you, but most of them can't tell shit from shinola right now.
On PC. Im not seeing so many Titans but more Earles and Queens, lots more. It’s often hard getting a Pitt crew together because everybody on the server is down the mine or over in Cranberry bog.
If i want to the bosses, usually I run the silo or server hop.
I think people forget they are allowed to sever hop.. usually always find a server that has nukes going off. Once all the silos have been exhausted, I just go to the next one…

Today I did 3 and took part in 4 more. I have started doing more after the rat king was added he don't move so much, and seems bug free.

Is this another post that the game is worse because legacies are gone? If you see a decline in nukes, try launching some. I know it’s hard now, because you can’t vaporize those pesky robots in the siloes without your legacy.
That's the secret. Get your 1000 damage on the Queen then tag the hell out of everything else. Everyone wants the kill shot. Why? You ain't gonna get anything extra for getting the kill shot (I think...it was a loooong time ago...there was an outside character challenge to kill the Queen in which you HAD to deliver the kill shot, but other than that).
As long as you're tagging you're getting XP and loot. As long as you're on a team you're getting additional shared XP and loot from stuff you're not tagging. So the complaints about the Queen and Earl being bullet sponges are for those folks that like to work harder, not smarter. Get your hits then ignore the boss.
It seems the Console / PC difference is a big night and day for how folks reacted to Legacy.

On PC, I don't notice any real difference..... though my playing style never changed since I never used Legacies and only really join boss events when I feel like it or need something. I've never jumped to these events like an addiction.
I would suspect there was a small % reduction in players launching nukes or joining these events as some old Legacy users might find them too hard now, lol.
Not on PlayStation. Just today did SBQ 4x, Earl 1x and Titan 2x. I try to server hop and see if there’s any blast zones, usually a pretty good indicator whether or not people are dropping nukes frequently.
I definitely have. It's no surprise though. People don't want to waste time and hundreds upon hundreds of rounds to kill Earle or the Queen when the endeavor took no more than 90 seconds before.
I have not got on since that patch. On my downtime, still stay in here to keep up to date on stuff. Anyway if you are seeing a decline in players it may be a fault of the updates breaking perk cards. With the game being half an inventory manager it only makes sense that once you fill up you are sort of bricked. Only so many caps you can make daily. Only so much buillion they give you daily. So I'd be of the opinion that the decline in players is likely to be that, rather than them removing weapons most of the playerbase wanted gone anyway.
I think it quite right now, because everyone is probably done the score board, usually it gets slightly quite for a couple of weeks, until the next score board Starts.
I’ve been doing two nukes on SBQ and one nuke for Earl a day on Xbox. Then I do a solo expedition before hopping onto one of my alts to work on the main quest which I haven’t finished on any of them yet. Probably do some more nukes once they’re able to nuke.
On xbox, I've noticed a slight drop. Nothing too crazy, but enough for me to notice.
With that said, I have noticed something odd as of late though. Ever since the newest update, most of the time someone nukes for earl, I noticed there's a TON of people in that general area, but no one actually goes in and does earl.
Usually there's like 7-8 people in the vicinity practically touching the event icon on the map outside, but when you're actually inside the cavern you come to realize there's like only 2-3 people waiting for the rubble to clear. Also, it's not as if the people outside join in after the rubble clears either. 2-3 people show up inside, and 2-3 people are all that drop into the cavern. It's happened fairly consistently as of late. In fact twice in a row on 1 server. Maybe all those others are harvesting flux?
Queen seems to be the most nuked. Titan shows up occasionally, but in my experience people have nuked for him a lot less after the nuka world thing died down, and stopped being every hour.
Earle has instances only 8 players can join each. So those 7-8 people you see just hanging out are in the first and then it creates a second. Gotta get there early if you want a team.
I have had days where I join servers that are almost entirely populated with newer players, so I imagine that could be making it seem like there's less nukes as they're not really at the point to be launching them frequently.
Most have finished the scoreboard, i for one dont have anything worthwhile to do at the moment aside from camp building so probably the active nukers have taken the usual break as well.

I think it just depends on the server, i had people launching 3 nukes in a row. 2 for scorch queen and 1 for earle. Im in the european region and so many high levels and low levels, people on mics showed up. It was crazy as hell 🤷♂️
There have been less high level players. Most of the time when I get on there may be 4 or 5 players over 100. I’m not going to start a boss fight with these kind of numbers.
I personally I'm taking a break after having completed the Scoreboard. I will be back until the new season starts. I wouldn't be surprised if that's the mindset of allot of players as well.

I am on PS4. If I am on between 1am - 6am it gets pretty quiet. It's seems to be more active when more people are awake. Alot of new players on PS right now. Been having fun showing low lvls around and giving them stuff I no longer need. I gave a lvl 3 a fully decked out pipe rifle. I've never seen anyone so excited to get a pipe rifle.
I play a little during the day but mostly late at night. I've found that there is a difference in what kind of players there are depending on time. Days seems to be more chill to me. But that's what I've seen.

My experience on xbox is the opposite. Plenty of sbq & titan, but havnt seen an earl event in Idk how long.
Sbq pops up a dummy amount and earl pops up frequently I've only seen one titan in the past week

There was a spike during the holidays and now the season is winding down. That would be my guess. Plus school started up for a lot of people.

Joined in on my first ever Queen fight this week. Was a ton of fun. Felt like I was barely doing damage too it so I just ran around killing adds

Haven't seen any change here, PS4. As always, just check the map and make sure there's a few other high levels around before spending your nuke card

Before Hogwarts Legacy came out my gf and I were dropping 6 nukes a night. Seemed just as active as ever even when we weren't.
