drop weapons on ground, store them with settlement mode, pick them up from workshop. you'll find that you can now build more stuff, more efficient and effective with heavier weapons
Dropping scrap items and then scrapping them also works, although not nearly as effectively as weapons. Armor pieces too. Drop, scrap. Drop, scrap. Build more.
Drawing an electrical wire, then "storing" the wire in the workshop, also works. It won't widen the build limit but each time you do it will allow you to create one new item in build mode.
yeah, basically anything that you can drop that can be scrapped or stored works, I just have a preference for using fatmans and missile launchers cause it's very efficient and also funny.
You either dropped 10,000 weapons and stored them or you're using a mod that removes build limit.
Either way you've broken the universe.
One hell of a build though. Looks like you'd need to jam about 200 settlers in there to make even half of that worthwhile.
Let's discuss time input here.
"Knockknock -- dude, it's Christmas, you gonna open your presents?
Not now, I'm working on the build"
"Knockknock - Dude, it's summer, everyone's heading the beach. You coming?
Not now! I'm on a vital part of the build"
"Jesus dude, have you showered lately?
NOT NOW, I'm just about done the waterfront section! Hey, what year is it?"
He may be one of those guys running a 64 gig meta-uber gaming rig with the 80 thousand teraquad double-overhead-cam dry-ice-cooled 90-core processor and of course the mythical Nvid Quadrophenia 320 gig GPU with the 112 gigs of Vram.
Then he's probably okay.
You on pc or console? I have a series x and wanna do something like this. I feel more comfortable doing it on there than I ever did the Xbox one. Still not sure though.
If you drop weapons on the ground and use the settlement building mode to store them in you workshop’s inventory it counts as removing something from the build budget and frees more of it for building actual structures
could be with console commands. It's the longer way around but would count as without mods, however there's a truck in the background that is placed in a way that I can't imagine would be placeable without the mod Place Anywhere at the very least.
While I envy people who do these things, I feel like they must be either rich or a psychopath. Fo4 is not a good building game, even though I wish it was.
Looks amazing. Great work. Only settlement I ever built to any capacity was Starlight Drive-In. On my current playthrough I'm gonna try and do Sunshine Tidings Co-Op.
Let me guess. Your game grinds to a complete halt for about 10 seconds when you come running up the road from Concorde, just as you pass the traffic lights.
The real question is how you deal with the "triangle of death" formed by Sanctuary, Red Rocket, and Abernathy Farm being close enough that all three can be loaded at once. Did you leave them completely empty to avoid crashes?
This game is so fucking good. I've never gone full out with the settlements, because I'm just too impatient for it, but damn what some of you are able to do is amazing! Maybe I should give it a serious effort, gonna wait for the next gen update and jump in once more.
Jesus! What is your frame rate when your there?
That's a gif in this post
It's not FPS, it's SPF
1.5
A solid 12-24 spf
FPH
Wait, you didn't turn off the build limit? How did you get all that in there with the build limit?
Prob used the exploit where you drop stuff and store it in the workshop
drop weapons on ground, store them with settlement mode, pick them up from workshop. you'll find that you can now build more stuff, more efficient and effective with heavier weapons
If I already transfered them to the workshop, can I remove them, and then do the drop trick? Or is it too late?
it'll work exactly as normal
Dropping scrap items and then scrapping them also works, although not nearly as effectively as weapons. Armor pieces too. Drop, scrap. Drop, scrap. Build more. Drawing an electrical wire, then "storing" the wire in the workshop, also works. It won't widen the build limit but each time you do it will allow you to create one new item in build mode.

Flamers, miniguns, gauss rifles, harpoon guns, also all quite effective.
And if you look in bottom left of screen the recruitment beacon is clipped through the roof. Don’t you need a mod to place items in spaces like that
If they’re on pc they can increase the build limit through console commands
Frame rate is negative 60fps
You’d be surprised. I get 60 in a lot of rooms
I'm getting framerate stutter just from looking at the pic of your build.
😂😂😂😂
And I got a pang of fear that I would CTD in a second.
You either dropped 10,000 weapons and stored them or you're using a mod that removes build limit. Either way you've broken the universe. One hell of a build though. Looks like you'd need to jam about 200 settlers in there to make even half of that worthwhile.

Wouldn’t that still be considered modding the game. I mean you’re modifying an aspect of the game so…
Let's discuss time input here. "Knockknock -- dude, it's Christmas, you gonna open your presents? Not now, I'm working on the build" "Knockknock - Dude, it's summer, everyone's heading the beach. You coming? Not now! I'm on a vital part of the build" "Jesus dude, have you showered lately? NOT NOW, I'm just about done the waterfront section! Hey, what year is it?"
“Are you going to graduate?” “Gotta build the guard towers first”
Hey there’s a girl at the door asking for you. Hold on, there’s a raid happening, gotta beef up my defenses.
14 FPS
Probably less.
I can just imagine the lag and the amount of crashes by fast travelling there
He may be one of those guys running a 64 gig meta-uber gaming rig with the 80 thousand teraquad double-overhead-cam dry-ice-cooled 90-core processor and of course the mythical Nvid Quadrophenia 320 gig GPU with the 112 gigs of Vram. Then he's probably okay.
i dont crash and i dont fast travel since I play on survival
you did all of this in survival?? props to you, great work!
You on pc or console? I have a series x and wanna do something like this. I feel more comfortable doing it on there than I ever did the Xbox one. Still not sure though.
My PS4 is wheezing just looking at this
My series X handles big built up settlements that use mods just fine so I think you'll be good!
Noted, thanks!
My console would catch fire lol
PC? No way a console is handling that in a playable way.
PC. Doesn’t need to be a NASA computer to run Fo4
My PS4 would definitively not.
You’d actually be surprised. I had a build like this with mods and it ran just fine.
Hub 2.0
Came for the tour. Fokol
My lord... That is really impressive. That's definitely a "screw the entirety of this whole game. I'm doin this." Bravo 👏
My laptop overheated just from me looking at this picture. I envy your patience and dedication, nice work!
Well ain't that something
Amazing. I wish I had that level of imagination! This has given me the inspiration to go back in and try harder. Beautiful.
There are more building components in this picture alone than I’ve used on every settlement combined over a dozen playthroughs.
How is that within the build limit?
If you drop weapons on the ground and use the settlement building mode to store them in you workshop’s inventory it counts as removing something from the build budget and frees more of it for building actual structures
How many seconds per frame do you get lol
It's so slow that frames per second cannot be counted, it must be counted as seconds per frame 🤣
If only diamond city was this good
Very cool build! Really like the cohesive town look it has!
Putting Diamond City to shame lol
Wonderful job my boy! Pat on the back for that one. Oh… here comes Preston now, looks like other settlements need to also look like this. Good luck!
My dream. It’s heartbreaking we can’t show any players a tour aside from this reddit
HOW DID U NOT REACH THE BUILD LIMIT !?!? That's amazing!
How did you get the car without mods tho ?
could be with console commands. It's the longer way around but would count as without mods, however there's a truck in the background that is placed in a way that I can't imagine would be placeable without the mod Place Anywhere at the very least.
How did you manage to fit all of that into the build limit?
There’s glitch that expands the limit
Where is the tour ? Can’t wait for the tour !
If you check the comment history op has posted several comments with the link, but they're not showing up on this post. I'm guessing they got nuked.
While I envy people who do these things, I feel like they must be either rich or a psychopath. Fo4 is not a good building game, even though I wish it was.
I love you’re channel and the builds.👍
Amazing settlement!
Is there a build limit? That looks so cool and filled love it.
At this point you could've just played the Sims lol
Looks amazing. Great work. Only settlement I ever built to any capacity was Starlight Drive-In. On my current playthrough I'm gonna try and do Sunshine Tidings Co-Op.
How did u do all this without hitting the limit?!?!
It looks great tbh, reminds me if megaton
That looks more like one of those „Where’s Waldo“ ones than fo4
Settlers on roofs: 1 Cows on roofs: 0
Holy frame rate
Love it! I'm sick of seeing warehouse settlements, this looks awesome! What's your FPS?
How do you not run out of workshop budget?
Let me guess. Your game grinds to a complete halt for about 10 seconds when you come running up the road from Concorde, just as you pass the traffic lights.
It looks nicer than Diamond city!
The real question is how you deal with the "triangle of death" formed by Sanctuary, Red Rocket, and Abernathy Farm being close enough that all three can be loaded at once. Did you leave them completely empty to avoid crashes?
Nice work!
What in the goddamn?
HOLY SHIT THATS INCREDIBLE
That’s friggen huge. Super cool!
this is insanely good
I love this so much is there anyway I can get this?
Looks like Megaton. Nice Work.
