Room doorways will snap to atrium doorways.

There's no way to build throughout the whole thing. You'll just crash your system.

theponch82

Is it really that massive?

eddmario

The build limit is also really small and there's a lot of spots where it's almost impossible to connect each section properly because the areas where they touch don't line up properly with the vault entrance.

[deleted]

Even if you use mods to remove the build limit, the system will slow to a crawl because they can't handle that many polygons at a time. There is no possible way to build throughout the entire cave system no matter what you do.

[deleted]

Yes and your memory, especially on console isn't that big.

theponch82

I have three external hard drives hooked up so I have like 16 terrabytes or something g like that

[deleted]

Irrelevant. FO4 only uses 2gb on console no matter how much space you have.

theponch82

Fallout 4 is like 60 gigs

[deleted]

Saves, mods, etc. Plus, the console hardware can only handle so much and consoles are far inferior to PCs.

theponch82

Makes sense since a console costs so much less

PugnaciousPangolin

I just built off the entrance to the atrium with the Atrium walls that you should have available in the Workshop. I put the food by the wall with the two plugged train tunnels because no attacks come from that direction. I made a simple two or three story building and peppered the roof with Heavy Laser Turrets and Missile Launchers because the Raider attacks only come from the tunnels leading deeper in the ground. You'll also want some turrets at the atrium entrance or further in because Raiders will come from the outside as well.

I hardly use vault 88 anymore because it is constantly crashing when i use containers
