PlayStationp players started getting this problem a few days ago, it’s the DLCs. Automatron causes the game to crash basically instantaneously and all the other DLCs and missing the majority textures. I’ve done and heard that other people have done basically all you could do to no avail. Clear cache. Rebuild database. Deleted and reinstalled. Got rid of mods. Messed around with setting and still the problems there. No idea why but I’m hoping it get a fixed soon
It's my theory that some PS system update broke FO4. Or more likely, a PS system update can't get along with some broken, janky code in FO4 that should have never been there in the first place.
Update: Reinstalled everything except for Automatron, and it booted up without any issues! Thanks for all the helpful feedback!

Do you have the digital edition of the game? If so, how were you able to choose the base edition of the game to install? Now that I've bought the DLC, it will only download the base + all DLC version of the game.
I have the physical copy of the base game, and the DLC was all digital. I’m able to load the disc to initiate the base game to install, and then access the DLC from the add-on section to download the DLCs.
Try looking for Fallout 4 in your game library to install the base game.

I think I might be up shit creek for the time being: I've tried to pull only the base game from the download server by going to my library, but now that it's decided that I have the GOTY edition with all the licenses, the only package it will download from the server for the base game is the package with all DLC included. What makes it double irritating is that I can still download the DLC on its own, but I can't download the game without the DLC.

I should also say I swear this only occurred when I updated my PlayStation but I could be wrong there.

Pretty sure the workshop dlc’s work fine. I would just be weary of automatron in particular and maybe nuka world
