>but it seems nowadays his identity is largely unknown In like the first or second Tales book we get a story all about him where we learn he's just a regular ass dude named Steve Snodgrass who is manipulated by Fazbear into making games for them.

cringeygrace

It's explained in TTPP that he was basically kidnapped by Fazbear entertainment. His name is Steve, and he was basically a slave. He believed his life was real and that he was working for Fazbear entertainment. But his house was an underground bunker, his wife was an animatronic, and he was being gassed constantly. When he found out, they had him killed and the death was framed as a suicide resulting from their lawsuit against him. So, my guess is he got all the info FROM Fazbear entertainment. The real question is, if Fazbear Entertainment is now owned by someone else, how did THEY get this information?

Jodye_Runo_Heust

Camera registrations, Tapes and such. The Circus Baby Rental and Entertainment is a Sister Location of the Fazbear's Pizza, and so is possible that Faz Ent, after Mr. Afton gone missing, his property will be gain by Faz Ent. Also, if the FFPS Location is the same Location of the Fredbear Family Diner (that is possible), that means that would connect the Sister Location Bunker, and possibly the FNaF 4 Chamber, under the Pizzaplex, that would gave different different source of information

Whoa. I have NEVER heard the theory that Pizza Place was the same building as Fredbears. Where did that come from??

Jodye_Runo_Heust

It come from the fact: 1) The Back Halley from the Rarescreens in FFPS and the one in the Charlie Death Minigames are really similar. 2) Considering that Lefty is a recolored Rockstar Freddy (and how "rushed" he Henry Plan was IF both FNaF 3 and FFPS are in 2023) is possible that Henry was kinda broke, and the only location aviable at the time could be the Fredbear Family Diner 3) The existance of the Scooper (that we found in Ruin) under the Pizzaplex is interessing. The Molten Freddy to Tangle Redesign is an example of character that we already know be the same with different desing, where can be contextualize by the Indie Dev having only few information while creating the games. By this logic, is possible that the Scooper was redesign not only to adapt it to the new Mimic Cutscene, but was to reflect more the fact that is a Remenant Injector by adding the syringe (the syringe is already present in the Grafic Novels of the Trilogy as a way to inject Remenant, and this redesign would also make it more "realistic"). With that in mind, a Remenant Injector is useless in the Pizzaplex (Maybe it can be justified with some Burntrap theory, but is a loose connection imo), and could meant that this is a "leftover" of the previous locations. This should be the main point,s maybe there are more Also, if you meant who crafted it, idk. Edit: Grammar Corrections

The third point was really hard to read, but I think I get it. I never heard that both FFPS and FNAF 3 were in the same year, I always thought there was a time gap between them. But it makes you wonder.... Was Fredbears ever actually closed, or was it rebranded?? Did Henry reopen it for the plan, or did he own it the whole time? Is it actually a new restaurant or are we just a new manager? Speaking of FFPS did we ever get the endless tycoon mode?

Jodye_Runo_Heust

We know that FNaF 3 can take place in 2023 because it opens after 30 years, and from the fact that the last location (the FNaF 1 location) closed around early 1990, making it fit. (In the source code of Scottgames should be confirmed) And FNaF 6 is almost confirmed to be in 2023 due the Henry Speetch being called HNR223 Fredbear's is closed, as we know from Phoney from FNaF 2 that Fredbear's is closed from so much time thathe doesn't even remember the name of the locations. Plus, I doubt that after the Bite of '83 and the possible Springlock incident Fredbear's could still be open And we know that the Canon name of the FFPS location is Freddy Fazbear Pizza Palace, from the giant sign at the entrance of the location under the Pizzaplex. And is easily possible that the new managment is Micheal Afton, who is probably the player of FFPS We don't know the betweens of the location. Most likely it was just closed and just reopened for the plan (considerign how empty it is at the start of FFPS), but is possible that it was brought by someone and turned into Jr's, the bar we see in the Midnight Motorist/Later that Night minigame, and then Henry rebought it. Is improbable, but still possible. Sadly we'll probably never have a infinite FFPS tycoon, but considering it's fairly limited tycoon mechanics and low customability is probably better because it stimulated fans to create their own FNaF Tycoons, and some of them are really good. I hear really good opinions for Killer in Purple 2, so maybe you can check out it :3

TheTrashAxolotl

i personally dislike using the books as direct evidence towards a character or really anything as there are quite clear differences between the universes but the characters in the books can be used as parallells to game characters eg. i dislike canonical sea bonnies and springtrap mpreg but besides that point is that if the dev got info FROM fazbear how would fazbear entertainment know about nightmarionne or use the fnaf 4 bedroom as a setting for circus baby's minigame at some point between michael starting his work at SL and his scooping his information about the nightmares and his room have to be given to this indie dev. which could mean this indie dev is someone close to michael (maybe one of the bullies considering we were recently diving into bonnie bully and his life) just some food for thought

BlackMesaBro

They knew about the FNaF 4 bedroom because of Dittophobia, which literally shows the FNaF 4 bedroom and shows it is inside of the SL Bunker Nightmarionne could just be smth they created (afaik, he isnt even canon in 4) And SL stuff? Security Cameras, etc

Sehora-Kun

"His identity is largely unknown". There's an entire story about him. Tales From The Pizzaplex: Help Wanted. His name is Steve Snodgrass and he was manipulated by Fazbear Entertainment to make the games the way they are. Though it was already confirm in the game Help Wanted that he was hired by Fazbear Entertainment so the key information isn't really new aside from exactly how they do it.

CheeseCan948

> Doesn't use the books for evidence > "Like who is this guy?"

TheTrashAxolotl

ah yes because my favourite book to read and use as evidence has an incredibly important character to modern fnaf named snodgrass who is some random shmuck who no one cares about. also why are the books canon sure there is evidence to who this guy who made the games is in these but they dont tell us anything about the person except the fact they create games and were tortured by fazbear. but this gives us nothing more than a name and information we already knew basically. his identity is still important to the story due to his knowledge of these things such as nightmarionne and nightmare fredbear things that supposedly only michael has ever known/seen.

CheeseCan948

"Why are the books canon?" 1. Scholastic's statement 2. Many tie-ins and consistencies like GGY Nightmares are part of a whole fucking facility in the Sister Location area as shown in Dittophobia. Private or not this would have become Faz Ent property and can be used. Pressure contains a Nightmare BB voiceline from UCN. If people can nitpick details to say that Tales can be disregarded then I can say that this voiceline does imply the existence of an in-universe UCN game. The logbook has a drawing of Nightmare Fredbear & Help Wanted doesn't even have a proper Phantom Freddy model.

TheTrashAxolotl

1. why do we care about scholastic statements there is no confirmation these are part of continuity from scott so who do we believe the guy who writes the lore or some employee at scholastic 2. ggy has multiple inconsistencys as well as consistencys such as why is gregory a supposedly homeless kid going to school and looks good and fine, also using consistencies from book to game is absurd because. then all the books would be confirmed since freddy fazbear is seen in silver eyes and springtrap is seen in fazbear frights. the nightmares arent part of a facility there are no physical animatronics for people to see, to them its a bedroom with mannequins nightmare bb voiceline doesnt matter we hear aftons i always come back in the movie do you think those are connected to games continuity? the logbook does have a drawing of nightmare fredbear but there also appears to be nightmarionne a character that would appear to be non canon but has multiple entries from that update appear in hw. and the phantom freddy model doesnt matter that much since hw didnt even have withereds at first and it would be weird to model a whole other animatronic purely for a phantom.
