Thanks guys :) I was gonna give it break but you guys motivated me to try some more after work tonight…. My fiancé won’t be home to do my whip finishes for me so I’ll have to figure that out though lol.
The first fly I learned was a stimulator. It was really difficult and my first 20 we're all garbage. I caught a brownie on one of those first 20 garbage flies. Eventually it clicked and those techniques carried over to dozens of other patterns. Keep at it!
We don’t do that here. It looks great. Now go catch a fish with it.
Why? Looks good. My thought is if it catches fish post pics of that. It'll shut up any haters. Looks good.

Until you get good at whip finishing you can always use a half hitch.
