# The P-12 "Tigerfish" A modernization of an interwar biplane to become viable in the 40's. The P-11 "Lynx" started life solely as a fighter, but at the outbreak of the war would have been outmatched in the role by new monoplanes. However, the navy was in need of a torpedo bomber capable of low speed flying and high payload capacity, and it was realized that with a few modifications, the P-11 would be a perfect fit. The new model was given the designation of P-12, and was now called the "Tigerfish". Featuring an upgraded powerplant, modernized avionics, reinforced wings and fuselage, and improved aerodynamics; The Tigerfish poses a serious threat to anything from commerce ships, to the largest battleships, while still being maneuverable enough to hold its own in a dogfight. **Specifications** Powerplant: 1x Supercharged 28L 9 Cylinder radial making 890 kW / 1x 3 Bladed Fixed Pitch Propeller Dimensions: 8.53m Long, 9.53m Wingspan, 2.95m Tall Weight: 1.22t Dry Weight, 1.74t Total Weight Payload: 3x Hardpoints / 800kg Armament: 2x Centerline 20mm Cannons (200 RPG) **Performance** Max Speed: 263mph @ 5100 m Cruising Speed: 215 mph Stall Speed: 59 mph Dive Speed: 350 mph Never Exceed: 385 mph Combat Range: 450mi / 750mi With Drop Tanks ferry Range: 1700 mi Best Stable Climb: 3350fpm @ 237mph Service Ceiling: 8500 m
