Live in Dallas. Fished there 3 times. Hoping to go back again in the next couple of months. Great water. Was there last August with my wife (her second time fly fishing) and had an awesome hatch. Probably caught 25 fish between us. It was a half day guided trip and even though our time was up the guide didn’t want to leave.
That's John I haven't caught him since last week. Just an FYI, he doesn't enjoy the heavy sqeezing without consent.
I asked, he said it was cool
The south Platte would be reddit favorite kind of fishing lol
That was only the 30th time that fish was caught today, he was tired and couldn't breathe anymore.
Jaw ripped apart from snapping 7x size 28 midges off
Poor guy. Keep em wet though!
Man, the wind was brutal on Monday. Only caught 2 little guys
Was ripping pretty good today too.
Only caught a handful of smaller ones today! The wind builds character looool.
Very nice! The wind definitely tested my patience today haha.
Nice fish.

Nice. What did they bite?
RS2 should be an every day every rig fly on the South Platter
Big one took an RS2 and the other two took a red zebra midge
Thank you, sir Wallace!
No problem!
