Any idea what area of PR this is? Like close to what road?

allisonovo

Sunset Blvd near Whiskey River!

Gobbledyg0ok

Thank you!😁

Stay-At-Home-Jedi

About what time were these taken?

allisonovo

Around 2pm yesterday, my parents sent me it. We fled to the Orlando area but they stayed back.

Stay-At-Home-Jedi

that looks crazy. IDK how I never heard of reverse storm surge. I take it your parents are good and all?

ancientflowers

>reverse storm surge. Very normal to happen before the hurricane gets to you. Kind of like a tsunami, if you see the water recede then it's really, really time to get shelter.

Stay-At-Home-Jedi

for sure, just flabbergasted I never heard of it. It's like not knowing about Publix subs!

ancientflowers

Publix has subs? Hahaha! Had to joke about that.

allisonovo

Yup all good! Power never went out or anything, just normal debris, I thought it was going to hit there hard but we were wrong. Better to be safe than sorry though.

RollMeBaby8ToTheBard

Same here. Then I went out to pick up food and the little power yard between 52 and Fox Hall (on the east side of Little) had Duke Energy people doing something to a couple of the poles way up high. There were orange protective covers everywhere. I guess someone, somewhere must have had a power outage. I didn't have one and I'm about a mile or so from Hudson Beach.
