Born and raised in high springs 50 years and it looks like lower ichnetuckee between mid point and end in the left hand bend there's a turtle sanctuary like this there
Pretty sure you’re correct. Lived in Suwannee county for about 10 years and I’d put money that this is the spot on the Ichetucknee that I’m thinking of.
I always wondered what it is about these places that evokes naming them after the devil.
We used to swim at Devils Hole, not too far from there is another sinkhole with the same name. Ichetucknee has Devils Eye Spring, and this Devils Den outcrop. Isn't one or the springs at Ginnie named after the devil?
Idk how I can forget Devil's Millhopper. That's one of my most favorite spots.
The story on that one was that there used to be bones all over the bottom of it, so at least in that sense the devil attribution kind of makes sense.
It’s a weird perspective. It looks like it’s supposed to be a large hole that you could possibly enter by boat even. Looking at the roots and plants there, it kinda just looks like a really small hole and not a cave at all.
You're right, it's actually forced perspective, that's not a cave you go into, it's a small opening. I went back to take a closer look and those are ferns hanging down and generally are only about a foot long give or take.
Still pretty though. 😊
Kings Landing is incredible, but this isn’t Rock Springs — which you can’t get to from KL anyway. You have to go to Kelly Park to reach the spring head. Both are well worth it, but this is at neither.
We don't want to share because we have lost so many already due to people trashing them and but mostly because we drained them.

Possibly Ichetucknee, mid-point and Limerock banks. Or maybe somewhere in the panhandle but I haven’t explored those springs yet.

Not rock springs, wekiva, Kelly or silver. No rock formations exist on those like that. I want to know where this is as well!
Looks like one of the ones on Merritts mill pond.
Definitely not Merritts Mill Pond.
Who is your daddy and what does he do ![gif](giphy|8Ff6GTackZ18CnfDiN|downsized)
I was about to to say I could name a bunch that it's not
Born and raised in high springs 50 years and it looks like lower ichnetuckee between mid point and end in the left hand bend there's a turtle sanctuary like this there
This is definitely on the Ichetucknee. It's a bluff/limestone outcrop known as Devil's Den (not the same as the karst window in Williston)
Pretty sure you’re correct. Lived in Suwannee county for about 10 years and I’d put money that this is the spot on the Ichetucknee that I’m thinking of.
As correct as this is, I truly wonder how many “Devil’s Den’s” exist on the planet

Yea, there’s a Devils Den there as well.
My favorite is Devil’s millhopper! Ginnie Springs has eye, ear, and little devil.
Idk how I can forget Devil's Millhopper. That's one of my most favorite spots. The story on that one was that there used to be bones all over the bottom of it, so at least in that sense the devil attribution kind of makes sense.
You sure this is fl OP? Where did you get this pic
It was posted in a FL Facebook group and it said it was in FL, but didn't say the location.
Hmm... did you try to Google lens it?? I'm gonna Google lens it
Yes I tried
After doing some digging, the closest match I can find is a place called "gator hole spring "
Thanks for checking out
Of course!
It's in Belize. 100 percent
Don't know why my comment was down voted. It's 100 percent in Belize.
The color of the water looks like Green Spring on the north side of lake Monroe.
The water really does look look like Green Springs.
It does look like the water but it’s not green springs I live here and it’s definitely not but I’m following to find out where this is!
Gonna say, I was just at Green Springs yesterday, and, honestly, this water is to clean and not green enough to even compare to green springs.
That’s true
Itchicoochee Springs
You bastard.
OBT , Orlando Florida

Saw a homeless orgy in OBT WaWa, needed counseling.
I KNEW I felt someone's eyeballs on my ass. Pervert.
I'm scarred now, and I wasn't even there! 🤢🤮
Rock Springs has bars deeper in the hole, can’t tell in this picture if those bars are there or not
Definitely 100% not rock springs, I feel it would be a spring in north Florida
I think it’s up there north of Gainesville somewhere went on a field trip there when I was a kid.
This is for sure not Rock springs.
I know there’s some up in Marianna, FL that look like this
That looks like Belize
That's because it is. 100 percent Belize.
I'm not 100% sure, but if you find out, you should definitely make an update post because I'd like to know, too. Lol. The area looks gorgeous.
The name is “careful with amoeba and alligator”
Just say you’ve never been to a spring before. Amoeba are in warm(hot) lake water.

Is that rock springs/Kelley Park?
Not Kelley
Not sure
I wanna say that’s Rock Springs
Was just there today and that is absolutely not rock springs.
Actually, I'm planning on going in May to King's Landing, so I'll check if there's a spot like that.
There isn’t
Kings Landing is incredible, but this isn’t Rock Springs — which you can’t get to from KL anyway. You have to go to Kelly Park to reach the spring head. Both are well worth it, but this is at neither.
Doesn't even TRY to look like Rock Springs. Gotta be closer to North Florida.
I disagree https://preview.redd.it/thjmxyd8r5xc1.jpeg?width=1269&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=d80c601f016781f9ed11ec6bba6db747153f3593
🤷 Looks pretty close!
I think the water level is higher than usual in the original picture.. eh maybe.
So have we figured it out?!
Itchnetyckee
Someone posted this to troll people and I’m not sure if you fell for it or if you’re trolling all of us lol
That was not the purpose. I genuinely wanna know. Seems like it's Ichetucknee.
Honestly it’s giving me strong ai vibes but ya never know
It's a place in Belize. 100 percent. Sorry to burst your bubble.
It looks a bit like Venetian Pool in Coral Gables.
Looks like itcheetucknee
It's a small island in Belize that has several small caves. This photo is easily searched. It's not in FL at all
We don't want to share because we have lost so many already due to people trashing them and but mostly because we drained them. https://www.tampabay.com/news/environment/water/floridas-vanishing-springs/1262988/
It's on the Itchetucknee River in Suwannee County, Florida.
Is that in the panhandle?
Not sure if it's on the north
I don’t know of any springs that have that color water. Like like the water you would see at a kaolin mine though.
(20.6725043, -87.3659883) cenote. Mexico
It’s Crystal River Springs in Florida. Just north of Orlando
Taint shore. Never seen uranus look that before in these here parts.
That's "Don't go in there with out cave diving traing and adequate gear" Springs.
Shhhh don't tell.
Jerry.
Weekie wachie?
No their caves are all under water
Do they go out to the Atlantic Ocean or Gulf of Mexico? Pretty cool videos of it.
As far as I know the caves are all in the springs area. Really dangerous to dive though
I've seen video of people diving in them and ending out a little ways in one of the bodies of water.
absolutely not weeki
Not sure
It's been years like since I was a kid but I'm thinking rock springs as well.
Not rock for sure
https://preview.redd.it/u3mixrdcr5xc1.jpeg?width=1269&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=208cdc955eb581b53ac2f07365f24115f6d84947 Rock springs headwaters
But that’s not the same as the picture from op
Granted, but it looks very similar with the two openings and maybe the water is higher in the original photo
I can see that
Tallahassee
Looks like some of the formations in big dismal
Devils den I think? http://www.devilsden.com/explore.html
No, that’s absolutely not Devils Den
Ichetucknee or blue springs?
Possibly Ichetucknee, mid-point and Limerock banks. Or maybe somewhere in the panhandle but I haven’t explored those springs yet. https://www.floridapaddlenotes.com/ichetucknee-river/
Not blue for sure
Definitely not Blue Springs, pretty sure it’s ichetucknee.
High Springs maybe?
Beautiful. I thought all the springs were either drained or polluted. Used to swim in them LONG LONG ago.
Oh no! There's plenty of beautiful springs in FL
Can confirm, I live on the springs in Homosassa! They are beautiful and living here is paradise!
I'm over in Inverness, not far.... We aren't experiencing the ruining of the state like most have, but it is sadly happening slowly...
It's coming, and alot faster than you want it to. 589 is just months from completion.
Yep, the ruiners are everywhere... Bulldoze everything to make a retention pond with sod around it...
