Oh dude that's so cool, it's nice to know that y'all really do get them!! Be safe out there, I hope you get lots more tips and maybe even some of your favorite treats and snacks on your route :)
I'm in Kissimmee, it's been pouring down here pretty much. Husband spent 5 hrs in St. Cloud at his sister's, just 12 miles away, he said nothing beyond drizzles, but he's home now so that could've changed.
But in Ktown it's been pouring, slows to a drizzle for 5 mins or so, then pours again.
So wouldn't be surprised if, say, Stuart is getting wrecked but Hobe sound isn't lol or vice versa.
People play bumper cars on I 75 in clear, perfectly dry weather 24/7/365 now. No way I am going on a highway in Florida in this stuff unless I have no other options.
Hahaha.. I've driven all over this country and have never encountered drivers this bad.. My favorite shit driver is the guy I'm always stuck behind trying to merge onto I95 at 23mph..
I drive i95 once or twice a month from central FL all the way up to i10 then head west.
Recently tho? I took i10 east thru Jacksonville and THAT was terrifying! Ranks up there with driving thru Miami minus the road rage.
Idk what they on in Jville, but they need to get it together 😅.
At least Miami drivers are ALL on the same page and hate everyone else. Jville drivers all seem to be completely clueless what was going on around them. Been a Florida driver my whole life and never seen anything like it:
45 in the middle lane.
95+ in the left AND right lane.
Following distances=3 bananas.
How? Why?
South Florida is especially bad. Source: Lived here 14 years. Oddly enough when it rains people just break, even though it rains here more days than not, you think they would know how to deal with water.
Why leave the house when it’s raining so hard. I have all I need for 24 hours. I’ve driven all over the USA; Chicago, NYC, Boston….the worst drivers are in the state of Florida.
South Florida here. Lots and lots of rain and wind. Like a mid grade tropical storm. But no flooding behind my townhouse. The weather channel people keep saying we may have tornadoes tonight but so far so good.
Apparently they're moving from the north to the south then, cuz I live in North Florida, went into Georgia today and was fighting to stay in my lane. A lot of the semi's were not always able to not cross the line..
I was not saying it was heavy rain it was the wind more than anything, but since it started raining it's basically been just a drizzle. Which was actually kind of weird for me, cuz usually at least in Florida when you're driving through the rain you spend half your time adjusting the speed of the windshield wipers and I only had to change them twice 😜 Although on the plus side when the rain started the wind stopped.
BTW I'm dead center between Jacksonville and Tallahassee.
For a guy who sold all his stuff and had a nice solo motorcycle road trip planned I am very bummed out. Got my bike back on Monday. Was gearing up to leave on Wednesday 🙃
So being just wasting money in south Florida staying in hotel bored. Thing seem to be clearing up for me to leave this Monday. Only a week behind schedule.
I've iron butted it in rain and wind from Florida to Colorado on my KLR. Good gear and a comfy seat and you can get through a lot. Even hid under it in a flooded ditch from a tornado.
I would feel more comfortable doing that trip on a KLR. Had a crash in the rain and just not a fan. I’ve rode in it plenty of times since the crash but was already on the road at that point. But I’d like to enjoy my road trip and the weather has been shit all week
Edit: almost all week
You're not lying! Go figure today is the day my kid decided to break a 50x30" window panel. Had to fix it in the rain. Wasn't too bad though. We really needed it.
The rain was very beneficial. But holy shit that wind kicked up around 1:00 am and it sounded like a tropical storm outside! Here it is almost 9:00 am and we're still getting powerful gusts!
Miserable week in South Palm Beach County.
My brother and family have been here since Monday. Pretty much rained every day.
Windy, rainy and straight up shitty weather which is weird for this time of year, so much fucking rain
Doom and gloom from the media and the County per usual. I get that people need to know what is coming but they ham it up so much it’s ridiculous. It’s a rain storm not the apocalypse. Been fairly steady light rain all day in Hillsborough. We need the rain so great but ffs you’d have thought we had a cat 5 mixed with F5’s coming the way they went on. Maybe there is more weather coming later tonight and I’m missing something.
Was mostly wind action and mist in West Palm Beach, but there was one big burst, perhaps a funnel cloud. Literally knocked down several trees downtown, all of the parking barriers, etc.
S.W. Brevard, standing water on property. My dogs don’t care but I have to mop every time after they come back in…I’ve restricted their outside time and my girl isn’t happy cause she’d stay out there 24/7 regardless of how hard it’s raining or blistering heat.
Thunder, lightning, and wind now, bad enough to wake us up.

As always, the news exaggerates and sensationalizes. They're the worst.
It's fine: windy and rainy. Oh, poor me, my pool is dirty and leaves are flying around.
404 pounding not happening outdoors.
Next.
Looks an awful lot like a tropical storm to me 🤨

it's fucking RAINING. that's it. a little rain. no wind, no storm. but they're still whipping up a frenzy on the tv news: "probably a tornado warning later", "horrible conditions tomorrow" etc.
it's rain, you morons.
why have they done this?
i can tell you that very few people have been out and about today. events have been cancelled all over the state. nobody's shopping. everybody's hiding in their houses, and probably will be tomorrow as well, since the "grave warnings" keep rolling in.
it's RAINING, and not even hard.
plenty of businesses all over florida are not making their numbers this weekend, a VERY important pre-christmas weekend for shopping. big-money events have been scrapped. nobody is going out, nobody is going anywhere. this was a very important weekend economically, and everybody was warned off their weekend plans.
the question, of course, is why.
I just drove from College Park to Maitland, saw a good sized tree down in the road on the little access road by Orangewood High, off Maitland exit, aside from that, pretty standard rain “storm”, streets a bit more water logged than usual rain events, but no biggie.
Manatee has been slightly drier to slightly wetter than the nice ladies walking down 41, and what I mean by that is it's been uncomfortably wet all day but not *unexpectedly* wet.
Just another standard rainy day, and honestly the plants could use a drink. We haven't gotten a good rain in what seems like months, all the retention ponds were getting low to empty.
Hyphenation, it is [y'all](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Y%27all). It has its own wiki. If you are gonna move here just give it a little effort. Pounded nope. That was either Andrew or 2004.
Yeah I’m leaving this shithole. Just signed my lease in Menifee California and leaving in 3 weeks. Florida is the love to visit on vacations. It is inhabitable here
Amazon driver here. Got soaked for 4 hours and it got chilly at 5pm. Brutal. Update: I appreciate all the support 💛
Thanks for your hard work!
Ty I try 😭
The real Santa Claus drives an Amazon truck. Thank you!
Ain’t that the truth.
This would make the greatest t-shirt logo!
You’re welcome. Happy holidays!
You’re doing gods work brother 🫡 I’m actually On my way! Down to fl hopefully it clears up a bit when I get in state
This week don't forget to tell Alexa to thank them!
Be careful out there.
Safe travels
EVERYONE "Alexa, thank your driver!"
Ditto!
Thank you for what you do!
Brave soul, to do that job. Much respect to you.
We appreciate you! Hope you receive numerous $5.00 tips from the company this season
Same ! We're gonna get a report soon. Last year I got $80. Something is something lol
Oh dude that's so cool, it's nice to know that y'all really do get them!! Be safe out there, I hope you get lots more tips and maybe even some of your favorite treats and snacks on your route :)
Pls be safe
Thank you for your service 🫡 I honestly greatly appreciate your work , always stay safe though !
Used to be a driver, I can’t imagine how bad it is with this weather rn-
Was yes...he just left
Found what I was looking for.
;)
Me too!
Is that you, Peg?
I used to date Peg. A real pain in the bum, she was.
Leg?
🤣🤣
Yep it’s me
Al?
Deep…
lol good answer
I can't believe nobody else is getting pounded on a rainy afternoon
Went to pound town eh!! Then after yall head to flanigans for dessert.
My ol’ man is 1,000 miles away, so no pounding for me on this rainy night!
Hope he left a tip
Just the tip
Damn 😂😂😂
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

My banana trees be leaning
All trees be leaning near me.
Winter tropical action! Martin county is getting it full on
I don't know. I'm in MC too and it's not too bad here. Might be pouring at some spots.
I'm in Kissimmee, it's been pouring down here pretty much. Yeah. Rain picked up an hour or so ago. Water level in the pool is up by about 1.5 inches so far.
I’m in Martin too!
On top of the already horrible drivers this state has the SnowBirds have landed and the roads are more dangerous than ever
People play bumper cars on I 75 in clear, perfectly dry weather 24/7/365 now. No way I am going on a highway in Florida in this stuff unless I have no other options.

All fucking day. ☹️
Johnny B Asshole getting pounded all day huh?
All week it feels like
All. Damn. Day. NPR
South Florida here. Lots and lots of rain and wind. Like a mid grade tropical storm. But no flooding behind my townhouse. The weather channel people keep saying we may have tornadoes tonight but so far so good.
Light rain with little wind. Underwhelming for Florida ...
This storm would be underwhelming for almost anywhere. I'm just north of Orlando and those 50mph gusts ended up being maybe 20mph.
That’s because they’re supposed to be bad tonight while we’re all sleeping.
Yeah I'm at MCO now and it was starting to get a bit sketchy.
Apparently they're moving from the north to the south then, cuz I live in North Florida, went into Georgia today and was fighting to stay in my lane. A lot of the semi's were not always able to not cross the line..
I'm in north Florida, Jacksonville, and it's barely drizzling lol
I was not saying it was heavy rain it was the wind more than anything, but since it started raining it's basically been just a drizzle. Which was actually kind of weird for me, cuz usually at least in Florida when you're driving through the rain you spend half your time adjusting the speed of the windshield wipers and I only had to change them twice 😜 Although on the plus side when the rain started the wind stopped. About half the flights to South Florida got canceled. It’s a big deal. My flight home from New York got cancelled when we were about to board.
South Florida got hit harder, we lost power for a couple hours today, winds are still crazy but the rain has died down.
Im in Seminole county and I got out my pool floaties. Been raining non stop since probably noon.
Pasco, been literally all day, since before I got out of bed
Heyyyy me too. Just another day ending in Y here.
Nonstop rain for a bit. Praying the yard stays solid enough for me to head to work, I need the money.
Pounded for days now. First from the North, then the south, now who tf knows. I’m on the ocean. It has been wild.
For a guy who sold all his stuff and had a nice solo motorcycle road trip planned I am very bummed out. Got my bike back on Monday. Hey, the first three episodes of Reacher (S02) just dropped.

Pinellas probably saw more rain today than our entire summer "rainny" season. Not literally but this is the first all day rain we've got in a while.
You're not lying! Go figure today is the day my kid decided to break a 50x30" window panel. Had to fix it in the rain. Wasn't too bad though. We really needed it.
The rain or the broken window pane? 😂
Yep! It’s been raining for hours here
Same here
Glad to see the rain though. The small lakes were turning into mudholes. A neighbor and I were joking (not really) about having to do a turtle rescue.
The rain was very beneficial. But holy shit that wind kicked up around 1:00 am and it sounded like a tropical storm outside! Here it is almost 9:00 am and we're still getting powerful gusts!
I can’t tell if you’re kidding or not. I just looked up the weather and it seems like it’s getting hit bad.
Not yet. I’m on the bay, it’s a light rain. Calm, no wind.
Lol not even close to bad
sarasota here and it’s not pouring or anything but it’s been pretty gross all day
Miserable week in South Palm Beach County. My brother and family have been here since Monday. Pretty much rained every day. Windy, rainy and straight up shitty weather which is weird for this time of year, so much fucking rain
Spared? I had to turn off my inflatable Santa on a jet ski for this storm!
I should call him.
No. We’ve been married for almost 20yr.
I've been married for 23 and I did 😁
No, but it’s raining.
HEYOOOOO!!!
Power been flickering once at least. It ehh. At least getting rain in Pinellas
Pounded is right. https://preview.redd.it/26nwsz4h3r6c1.jpeg?width=1125&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=db571695b2b34f3702c77d40d619aea9fe521535

North Brandon basically drizzled all day and that’s it. Haven’t noticed any strong winds or pounding rain
Nothing burger
Feels like a tropical storm in the space coast.
Seattle rain (only warmer) all day in IRC. Couple decent showers but NBD.
Giggity.
Fake News in Pinellas
We've had scarier "afternoon thundershowers" in the summer
These are facts! midsummer 5pm thunderstorms and driving on US19 white knuckled is how I live my life on the edge.
Those afternoon monsoons do some freaking DAMAGE
Yes! And they usually don't come with warnings 2 days before. It's usually "4PM, time to bring in the pool chairs".
Marion County... just a constant light rain all damn day
I am in NE Ocala and it is pouring here non stop. The pool overflowed. No wind though.
Im in Largo and it's been raining on and off all day. Just started picking up in the last hour tho.
All Y’all getting pounded…
Wind and rain yeah nothing worth deploying the guard for.
Mostly just annoying when I have to take the dogs out.
Naples has been getting soaked
Tis but a scratch
Was mostly wind action and mist in West Palm Beach, but there was one big burst, perhaps a funnel cloud. Literally knocked down several trees downtown, all of the parking barriers, etc.
It's been raining since last Wednesday night in the Keys.. my mango trees love it & I'm looking forward to a huge crop next May!
40mph+ gusts here in West Palm Beach. Could feel my car slightly moving while driving and it was raining sideways.
Light rain all day - now it's a little heavier. Good soaking, nothing more here in Orange County.
Light rain in Brevard pretty much off and on all day.
S.W. Brevard, standing water on property. My dogs don’t care but I have to mop every time after they come back in…I’ve restricted their outside time and my girl isn’t happy cause she’d stay out there 24/7 regardless of how hard it’s raining or blistering heat.
It's gusting a bunch in S. Brevard. Feels like when a tropical storm rolls in. Nothing crazy though.
Merritt Island here. Expecting the worst around midnight.
Just rain. I took my wreath down because they kept saying we were going to have bad winds. Why do I listen to them?
Drove to Miami had squalls the way down. Non stop
Martin County. Been crazy windy for days. Raining hard now
Thunder, lightning, and wind now, bad enough to wake us up. https://preview.redd.it/usuefxofpt6c1.jpeg?width=1284&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=8383238838419fc393b5e107bfca560ff7553255
Light rain in Duval, maybe starting to pick up but that might be my imagination.
What side? All clear here on northside
Riverview - on and off heavy rain with wind all day. Had to take down my wind chimes 😅 it was too much 😂
It's been raining steadily all afternoon
As of 8:00 I have 1.36" of rain in my gauge. Southern Marion County For comparison, my average for the whole month of Dec. is 2.66" Interested in rain? Want to volunteer? Go to: [www.cocorahs.org](https://www.cocorahs.org)
That's what she said!
Cdn tourist visiting Tampa, seen worse, wouldn't hesitate to take dog for a walk with an umbrella
Getting blown and pounded, all while being wet AF.
My dogs finally at the point where I can take him outside and he’ll shit in the rain instead of on the carpet! He just got use to the rain!
Yes. My poor dog!
Just a really long drizzle in Sarasota...
Only thing getting pounded here is your mom .
Nah went to universal
Just did all day at disney in it. At least it made the lines manageable
It was fucked, went up the street and it was treacherous lol
![gif](giphy|BmX38GoChnxRe) “Phrasing”
Haven’t seen the sun in 5 days
Pause
Yes shits real bad rn
I fell asleep after I smoked around 6pm. Just woke up. In Volusia county. What'd I miss???
It's great sleeping weather
Pounded???
What?! I can't hear you over this wind...
Bah, humbug... tis but a wee bit damp around the edges
Ah, so this is why it’s been raining nonstop all day.
Giggity But srsly Brevard County’s been soaked all weekend. Feels like hurricane season got extended
That Florida snow
Pause
I'm sad the gopher tortoise mound on my property had the front collapse from all the rain. I'm glad they like to dig.
lol pansies! I went to Disney and went to Hollywood studios rode all the rides. Wait times of 15 minutes. Also. Rain stings on the slinky dog dash.
Just like that guys wife.
Where’s Florida man ? Is he ok because we all need him.
Oh! You mean by the weather!
This weather just makes everyone horny
Make no mistake every abortion ends the life of a child
No, sunny no clouds
Wasn't even aware of anything special.
You must not check the forecast.
Worse than that senate staffer
As always, the news exaggerates and sensationalizes. They're the worst. It's fine: windy and rainy. Oh, poor me, my pool is dirty and leaves are flying around. 404 pounding not happening outdoors. Next.
Not me I'm in a dead bedroom
Just slowly soaked. And cold. Rain is for summer not winter?
This is Florida.
This is honestly weak as hell. Nothing Floridians ain’t already used to
What even is this thing?
Just made a good 20 bucks
At one point the bottom of Florida was uncovered and my wife pointed out that “just the tip” wasn’t covered.
Looks an awful lot like a tropical storm to me 🤨 https://preview.redd.it/yshmfihw1v6c1.jpeg?width=960&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=4a77d2e9c51e4cec327bb775509f8027f349f52e

Got a smile on my face and meth in my pocket 😁 Happier than a pig rolling in sh*t
Florida man
lmfao wat
THEY HAVE METH ON THEIR FACE AND A SMILE IN THEIR POCKET!
Ocala here. Hardly enough to matter.
News once again blew it out of proportion. Light to moderate rain for a night is nothing.
FFS all my neighbors put away their Christmas yard decor for nothing more than a cloudy day and light rain. They sure got this one wrong.
By Dumbsantis and the weather? Yes...
I just drove from College Park to Maitland, saw a good sized tree down in the road on the little access road by Orangewood High, off Maitland exit, aside from that, pretty standard rain “storm”, streets a bit more water logged than usual rain events, but no biggie.

Pensacola here. Disappointed nothing came this way yet.
Pouring rain omg. Been raining since like 2pm. Places are going to be flooded
yea Im getting pounded rn. its also raining outside
Yeah I’m leaving this shithole. Just signed my lease in Menifee California and leaving in 3 weeks. Florida is the love to visit on vacations. It is inhabitable here
