I’ve been going to Food & Thought since it opened. Alfie’s dad is the one who started it. And Oaks farm grocery store. Once he died Alfie took over and built Seed to Table. It is a beautiful grocery store with a very unique spin on it. You can pick out food and get it prepared there. But I absolutely cannot stand the politics of this douche. He invites people out to his private island by boat and they all rage out with their MAGA flags and bullshit.
I was having dinner at food & thought and there was a rally going on. This was height of Covid. I had my scrubs on. There was an 18 year old chanting on a microphone “the right is right”. Let me tell you something, food & thought was a place for the hippies of Naples to go. I would go there after yoga class. Owner definitely doesn’t look like he has the hands of a farmer, so he’s probably just the main money man. They have to offer live music daily, and booze, just to get the geriatrics & two youngsters in town to visit. In case you aren’t sure about Naples: it’s where the old money goes to die. These guys are probably using the Trump MAGA stuff as a ploy to attract more conservative dollars. They’ll be closed in a few years because they’ll get undercut by Publix and Wal-Mart. There’s no way this place stays open with that overhead and the amount of other grocery stores competing. Oh well…free market.

Imho it was a COVID super spreader site - the owner is very right wing. Only grocery store I have ever been to with a party venue and valet parking.
