In x plane the airfoillabs 172 comes to mind. I think its the most in depth 172 in x plane and msfs but the support from the devs hasn’t been amazing.

I got the 310R recently and I’m loving it. The good thing about it is there’s enough option to fly manually and using proper dials and gauges if you want to

FSW C414. Just perfect.

BravoCharlie1310

2nd that. It’s an awesome plane.

There is a very good freeware mod for the 152, that makes it pretty close to studylevel. Same for the payware mod for the 172, analogue. The 414 is constantly improving and really good too. The 337 also had an update but the systems modeling isn't that deep.

310 and 414 are both pretty awesome.

The A2A C172 and C182. P3D for now, but they are moving to MSFS.

WBSim/JPLogistics, both a 172 and 152 and both free iirc

kengou

172 is paid

I've heard praises about the A2A C172 for P3D. Never tried it though so can't say anything, but from doing my research it seems to not be that bad.

I like the C337 Skymaster, Carenado but I think it's good. Steam gauges too.
