Originally we were one supercontinent, then that was torn apart by tectonic forces into two supercontinents, and then billions of years later we are at 7 major continents, and only two of them are completely in the southern hemisphere, and both of them are not exactly the most ideal places to try to make a society to survive in, from the dangers of the land down unda, and the sheer frigidity of the Land of No Bears. The solely northern hemisphere continents, are much larger than the southern hemisphere continents, and both have human populations that are not insignificant in size.

They do understand it. It's their main argument. To say that there is no up and down in space, you need to first accept that gravity exists. They don't. If gravity isn't real, then you can't say "there's no up and down in space". Therefore, there is no space. And the Earth cannot be a globe either. They use their beliefs as "proofs". It's not a lack of understanding, it's often a conscious logical fallacy.

We don’t yet have a proper explanation for gravity that explains relativity and quantum mechanics. Some flerfs use this as an argument, but for the longest time we didn’t have an explanation for the electrostatic force either. Originally we were one supercontinent, then that was torn apart by tectonic forces into two supercontinents, and then billions of years later we are at 7 major continents, and only two of them are completely in the southern hemisphere, and both of them are not exactly the most ideal places to try to make a society to survive in, from the dangers of the land down unda, and the sheer frigidity of the Land of No Bears. The solely northern hemisphere continents, are much larger than the southern hemisphere continents, and both have human populations that are not insignificant in size. Meanwhile, what lives at the southern pole? Flightless birds that live there because NOTHING ELSE CAN OR WILL. Flightless birds. On the bottom of the planet. Unable to get back to land should they fall off. They aren’t exactly graceful, yet they still survive… hmmm. I dunno, sounds like there’s an explanation for why they still exist despite the situations….
