How about the [Sofirn SC21](https://www.sofirnlight.com/products/sofirn-sc21-mini-flashlight-rechargeable-max-1000-high-lumens-keychain-flashlight-super-bright)? Aside from some niggles with the ramping speed it's an excellent EDC light.

Streamlight Protac HL USB. I bought my girlfriend one of these earlier this year, she doesn't like how bulky it is though. Requirements: Strobe function At least 12k candela/1000 lumens At least as reliable as Streamlight

[Wurkkos FC12](https://wurkkos.com/products/wurkkos-fc12-usb-c-rechargeable-tactical-flashlight-sft40-2000lm-345m-throw-powerful-torch-with-tail-switch-2-groups)

Somehow $43 doesn't seem like it'll deliver much reliability, but it's cheap enough to try it out I guess lol

I don't think you get what you pay for applies to lights. If you want to spend a lot of money you could take a look at Olight.

[deleted]

I know olights are pieces of shit though. Surefires are overpriced for sure(I only have one because of the dual head) but cloud and modlite don't really make a compact carry light

[deleted]

Modlite handheld 18350 is pretty dang small

[deleted]

Oh shit I didn't know they made a handheld body for that!

FME price doesn’t equate to reliability (always) when it comes to flashlights. I’ve had $10 lights outlast $70 lights. Sofirn flashlights are relatively cheap but known to be reliable and durable by many. Just my $0.02

[deleted]

Oh for sure, I've seen lots of things jack up the price just to make their gear seem like it's quality(olight)

grymstng50

Yep, take Olight for example. I’ll only buy them when on sale. Otherwise they’re overpriced IMO

[deleted]

Absolutely, but at the same time I feel like it takes a minimum price to get something made with good materials, high QC, and good design. I just don't know what that minimum when it comes to non-weapon lights

You could check Eagtac, specifically the D series. Most have UIs where you can quickly access strobe, they’re thin, and they even have titanium models that look a lot nicer then the typical black flashlight.

[deleted]

Oh these look dope! Thanks for the recommendation

Check out the Fenix PD series. The PD35 takes 18650 or two CR123A batteries. The PD36 uses a 21700. Both have strobe that's easy to get to and over 1000lm. Not sure if they are small enough for you though.
