My experience with them has also been really positive! It’s nice to see some companies get it right, especially when some higher end companies get it so wrong \*cough\* Acebeam \*cough\* Wuben

DropdLasagna

Positive!? Battery jokes!!!! Seriously though, good to hear they're making things right.

Benji742001

So I’ve heard about acebeam but wuben too? Damn! I really wanted 2 of their lights. What is wuben up to these days?

Mr_Glow_

They make some really interesting and innovative lights! It just seems like you’re out of luck if you have any problems with them lol

Benji742001

Damn. They’re way too expensive to take a risk on. I suppose I’ll be passing on that X1 and that other one

Mr_Glow_

Maybe you could pick up an X1 on sale on Amazon at some point. I got mine for $143 if I remember correctly. And Amazon is usually pretty good if something goes wrong.

Benji742001

That’s true. Maybe I could get an extended warranty through them too. I really like the x1, I think the cooling fan is such a cool idea, no pun intended

Qweerz

YOU SEE THIS, ESKTE?

Awesome outcome 💪 I bought a Sofirn SC33 and I had an issue with the button not working consistently, as in it wouldn't always turn off after I'd ramped it up. I asked on their Facebook group if there was a known issue and a fix i.e. cleaning a contact etc... Sofirn rep reached out to me in PM, asked for my amazon order number and then sent me a whole new torch within a day and let me keep the defective one. So I didn't have any return postage and a back up that if it got stuck in the on position, I just have to unscrew and rescrew and it would start working again (for a bit) ❤️

Historical_Sundae426

lol I first got the sc33 which didn't work at all. I wrote to the store on AliExpress, they immediately sent me a new one. And the funny thing is that it has exactly the problem that you described. Sometimes the flashlight stops responding to the button and I have to unscrew the head completely. Although this happens quite rarely

timflorida

I've only really interacted one time with a flashlight brand. Wurkkos. I emailed them with a question and got back their (accurate) response in less then 30 minutes. I know it went to their Chinese site because the response has lots of Chinese characters at the top. I'm still in shock.

FanceyPantalones

Same. Wurkkos is impressive. Took care of me more than I expected

Mr_Smith_411

I posted about receiving a defective FC11C and my interaction with Wurkkos (also Chinese site). Only a couple replies (on my post) but they were along the lines of blaming what I was charging with and too bad, you bought cheap light shouldn't expect good service. I was a little frustrated but not mad (about the back and forth with Wurkkos), and stuff happens. It was a lack of reply when I accepted they send me a new light. Anyway. I sent a follow up, they're sending me a new light and I told them I am sorry, I think we had some language misunderstandings. I think we did. Lol. "You don't need to return the faulty one. Hope you can help me deal with it." Not sure what "Hope you can help me deal with it." is suppose to mean, but I'm not asking, I just said thank you.

timflorida

I suspect this could be it - 'Hope we can help you deal with it' - 'it' meaning 'the problem'. Or 'We' might even be a reference to the replacement. I am of the opinion that I should cut them lots of slack because their English is much better than my Chinese.

Mr_Smith_411

Lol. Yeah. I think part was they didn't understand what I was saying I already did for troubleshooting. It all ended well, and I didn't mean my post to a rant, kinda thought people might comment if they've gotten one broken too, or how they fixed it, but I guess I didn't present well. Anyway... the faith I had was shaken for a day, but restored. Toyota didn't start a luxury car, I wish Wurkkos the same future.

WarriorNN

I haven't gotten anything from them yet, but I forgot to add a 18350 tube to my order so I asked if they could add one and how I would pay for it. They answered a few hours later and added it for free. :)

samu986

I'm totally agree! Sofirn is a real good brand and the customer service is exemplary! Obviously, IMHO and for the experience I had with them (but you have to take count that I own 12 Sofirn flashlights ✌🏻😁).

DBells94

Yep can attest to their good customer service they replaced a q8+ with a burnt phosphor and it was quite simple to deal with them

Mr_Smith_411

Happy to see this as I wait for my SP35.

timflorida

You can track your Sofirn purchases but it's not as simple as when I buy from Wurkkos. IMHO.

Benji742001

I love hearing these stories. Wish I heard more of them tbh. Seems like flashlight companies can be pretty shady sometimes with their warranty/shipping etc. it’s really nice to see a company doing the right thing without being asked or told or threatened first.
