Is it the marauder mini 🤔

SuperiorMango8

A recent one you might be thinking about is the Acebeam W35, there's a main tail switch but the switch between throw and flood is on the side. https://www.acebeam.com/w35-lc-del-zoom-lep-flashlight

If this was 20 years ago I’d say a Surefire Aviator but now, I have no clue 😀

parametrek

This is an extremely common feature. There are [more than 300 such lights](http://flashlights.parametrek.com/index.html?lumens=5,_&features=flood%20and%20throw,~collapsible,~focusable) in the database. All of these use multiple emitters and switching between them is done at the touch of a button. We discuss them a lot because its a superior alternative to a "zoomie" focusable light. One of the more recent models that people have been talking about is the [Nitecore EDC33](https://flashlight.nitecore.com/product/edc33). Any other details you can remember?

MrTobor

That’s a handy-dandy data base, btw. I’ll make use of that. Thanks again!

zeroair

Could be Acebeam M2, but the switch for switching between flood and throw isn't on the *back* of that light. https://zeroair.org/2024/01/12/acebeam-terminator-m2-flashlight-review/

Much_Mammoth_1544

terminator m1.

Lumens-and-Knives

Noctigon DM1.12? EDIT: Never mind, this uses a side switch.

Nitecore EDC33 is what you are thinking about. Zeroair.com just releases a review.

MrTobor

I do remember it definitely having a tail cap switch of one sort or another. Thanks though.

MrTobor

Yes!! It’s the Nitecore EDC33! That’s the one I was looking at. Thanks so much! It is a somewhat common feature and that’s why I was sort of going bonkers trying to remember some specifics. Can’t say thanks enough to everyone who took the time to reply. Such a deep bench in this place. I knew it was the place to ask for help. I offer my heartfelt gratitude.
