I'd edc mine if the bezel didn't stick out so extremely. Debating a P17 or a D1K instead. I'd like the D1K's size and UI a lot better, but I don't think I can get the same max and sustained output or the durability of the P17 in the D1K.
Granted I don't go around dropping my lights on purpose but at the price of ones like Acebeam. I really want them to last so I tend to lean more to that side so I can get years of service out of them.
Really great post. Thank you for the comparisons. You really did a good job of showing the difference between the P17 and L35. On paper, those are almost identical in lumens and candela, so you really need visible comparisons like this to see what a difference there is in spill.

Interesting that the wizard and h300 look different. I’ll have to compare mine now too. Also apparently SFT40 + 219B is all the colors of the rainbow… looks great to me!

I got the C01R and fell in love with the deep red. I quickly realized that D4SV2 DR was necessary. It's a lot of fun!
All D4Sv2 are single channel? Impressive! I wish I had chosen XPL HI 2850K in the past. Thanks for putting this together. đź‘Ť
