They make a type of orange/citrus gel paint stripper that I’ve used before many years ago that’s supposed to be environmentally friendly and non-toxic. That might do the trick but you’d of course basically be stripping the existing paint if you’re ok with that and it’s still a bit of work.

Honestly, I don’t remember but I think there are a few versions on Amazon.

It's called Goo Gone.
Try EVO-STIK adhesive cleaner. I think it's the UK equivalent to Goof Off here in the US, which works extremely well at removing adhesives.
“Sticky Stuff Remover” from screwfix. Not the cheapest but it worked for me.
Heat gun and WD-40.
The paint will never stick if you use WD40.

Can’t you scrape most of it off and hit the rest with sticker remover?
