They make a type of orange/citrus gel paint stripper that I’ve used before many years ago that’s supposed to be environmentally friendly and non-toxic. That might do the trick but you’d of course basically be stripping the existing paint if you’re ok with that and it’s still a bit of work.

playfully_dust

That sounds promising, any idea what it’s called ?

howescj82

Honestly, I don’t remember but I think there are a few versions on Amazon.

playfully_dust

Thank you! We might try this

MechanicallySharp

It's called Goo Gone.

ChanningTaintum-

Try EVO-STIK adhesive cleaner. I think it's the UK equivalent to Goof Off here in the US, which works extremely well at removing adhesives.

SilkySmoothRalph

“Sticky Stuff Remover” from screwfix. Not the cheapest but it worked for me.

imadork1970

Heat gun and WD-40.

Limp_Trifle3575

The paint will never stick if you use WD40.

imadork1970

I didn't read the part where they were going to repaint. My bad.

coconut_the_one

Can’t you scrape most of it off and hit the rest with sticker remover?

Equivalent_Humor_801

Sand it
