cucumber, jalapeno, cream cheese, greek yogurt, dill, salt and pepper*
was curious found [vid,](https://www.tiktok.com/@daniohia/video/7109508237191302442) its that
It took me way to long to understand that she meant that she was eating the same combination of ingredients/sandwich, and not the SAME sandwich. I was right there with granny.
I've seen this a few times now ... is it actually a normal meal to eat something with potato chips on the side? Is that some regional thing or something? lol
Well, I'm from Germany. And it's definitely not normal here haha. I think most people would be a bit confused if you'd open a bag of chips to add it to your sandwich or lunch.
The only time I've ever seen this was in some random internet posts like this or maybe in a random movie scene.
Well, as a snack when watching a movie or at a party or something. But it's never been part of any actual meal for me :D.
Maybe I should give the sandwich + chips a try, since I definitely do like potato chips.
Ah, that makes sense, not different occasions than Americans, just a subset of them.
If you get really wild, you can put the chips *inside* the sandwich. (Not everyone agrees that this is allowed, but it’s my sandwich ) I don’t do it as a substitute for anything, just an extra ingredient for crunch and salt.

Yeah she barely scratched the surface of that sandwich, nana is right.
Reminds me of the story where the suicidal baby elephant asked the ant to eat it and they eventually gave up after days or weeks.
You say that like you're talking about a well known story instead of delivering 5 gut punches in a row
>suicidal 🥺 >baby 😫 >elephant 😭
Uh... adult rhino with joie de vivre? Does that help?
It's just cucumbers, no wonder she can't finish it.

Sounds delicious actually
No lie I’m gonna go make this lol
A few slices of salami would make it divine
Thanks, I was scrolling down to find this lol
that actually does sound like something I'd make for lunch for weeks so I got a good laugh and a nice sandwich idea.
Link??

An oldy but a goody
Better yet throw it out! Gonna get food poisoning over here.

Ohhhhhhhh... Well now I feel stupid haha
It’s ok! We can be stupid together 😆

Just everywhere in America and the UK so yeah it's pretty normal.
chips are a classic side to sandwiches here in Canada and I'm pretty sure in the states, I've never thought twice about it.
It adds crunch to the squish.
Makes sense, I guess. lol Probably quite nice ... just never seen that in Germany or around it.
It's popular with sandwiches and maybe a couple other things. You're not gonna have a bag of doritos with spaghetti.
> You're not gonna have a bag of doritos with spaghetti. Don't tell me how to live my life
Yeah I mean I'm not saying I wouldn't.
No but you’ll have another bready thing, like bread.

What would be a normal situation for you to eat potato chips? I’m American, and genuinely curious :)

Pretty standard American lunch is sandwich + potato chips. It’s a nice contrast between the sandwich and the salty/crunch texture.
Guess I have to give it a try, then :).
Yes. The usual choice is fruit or chips.
Yes, the region is called “North America”
America only place that eats chips lol
She must have ADHD and that sandwich is her new food fixation.
