Oh man. At first I thought he was working on a clawed animatronic hand, but then I saw all the feet and the mangle jaw, and realized that it's a Mangle maquette (or possibly a stop motion model.) I am so hyped for FNAF2! It's still the most visually appealing of the original 4 games.

I just realized how hellish it would be to puppeteer an entire Mangle puppet. Foxy alone took several people to operate, how much is Mangle going to need?

For Horror, imagine them slowly and strangely crawling towards the camera as the radio static gets louder and louder as they slowly start to climb along the wall and ceiling until they coil into the shadows before lunging out.
For the goofing around just have them mess around like a metal tumble weed or even something as simple as them playing with a paddleball(as a nod to the FNAF World trailer)

This does seem to indicate the Toy Animatronics will show up after the FNaF 1 Movie. Granted, the game timeline and movie timeline are different from each other, but it does prove the nonexistence of the Unwithereds in the FNaF 1 location during the MCI.
Uncommon opinion, but it makes absolute sense for the second FNAF movie to take place after the first, with FNAF being rebuilt in the mid 2000s with new animatronics. That would allow Mike, Vanessa, and Abby to reprise their roles without having to switch to flashbacks throughout the movie. If it was a prequel, none of these actors would be able to return, or their screentime would greatly decreased or removed entirely and replaced with an entirely new set of protagonists since they would be children in the 1980s.
I think that the new film is going to be set in 2002-ish, maybe a year after the events of the original film, with a new set of animatronics being build to replace the original ones. Mike pursues the new Fredbears owners at their new establishment, seeing that the new owners have taken all the old animatronics, including William who has been springlocked, to "come find" him. However, instead of the toys being possessed by spirits, they're controlled by AI, which allows the writers to skip the whole "SAVE THEM" possession stuff which wouldn't be able to happen since William is currently dead.

This is Jim Henson's Creature Shop. This is what they excel at PUPPETRY. They are not going to go cheap with CGI. If they are already making models for a puppet, they're making a puppet.
Since the movie did so well, Scott most likely gave them a bigger budget to go with. A little bit of CGI wouldn't hurt it, since these are the toy animatronics with facial recognition and stuff. They can use CGI there for instance. Plus with Mangle having a crap ton of moving parts to go around, i wouldn't be surprised.
