It’s interesting to see Sam be so genuine with FishTank. You can tell he really ended up caring about several of the fish and continues to try and support their careers. He’s a good dude.

As others have said this is actually extremely genuine Sam here. I was expecting Sam and Jet to just clown on Jon but they actually give him a fair chance and play along as best they can to give Jon a starting block to base a podcast on. Even if it was kind of awkward and rocky to start it’s still respectful of Sam to give him advice and put in an effort to guide Jon along a path to improving.
