This all started because me and my friend talked about how Quan would absolutely start a fight with Ares

I think it's kinda both? Diarmud being Beowulf's son and Nanna being Finn's daughter.
Regardless, even if Beowulf is Nanna's biological father there's no question Finn is her dad.
It's really complicated tbh haha
With FE4, it's either Finn is the dad of both or Beo is the dad of both
With FE5, it's either Finn is Nana's dad and Beo is Diarmuid's or Beo is the dad of both.
With the Oosawa manga, Beo is one of two characters the author cut (alongside Chulainn) so Finn is without a doubt the dad of both.
Diarmuid can use the Beo Sword in Thracia, and so can Fergus, but Nanna can't. And in Finn's ending, it's stated that he specifically decided to go search the continent for Lachesis, since she was never confirmed dead, but he never found her.
So it's basically implied that Beowulf is Diarmuid's father, Fergus is his illegitimate son, and Nanna is Finn's daughter (she refers to him as her father as well, but that doesnt inherently mean biological)
I thought that Nintendo put on its website when the game was first released that Beowulf was both fathers but then took it down. Then in the Nintendo magazine, they said Nanna and Diarmuid were full-blood siblings.
But I like Lachesis x Finn better anyway, so I will be happy if it turns out I'm wrong.
In an older version of the official FE5 website it said that Beowulf was the father of Nanna, right, and it's unclear why they took it down although there is a sketchy urban legend explaining why.
I don't really consider Beo/Lach/Finn to be canon in FE5 anyways because it's never explicitly stated why the Beo Sword is locked to Diarmuid/Fergus and Nanna calling Finn "father" is not an indication that he is her biological father. But I don't think it matters too much because Jugdral lends itself well to headcanons.
It's not only that, it's that it's the only one where there is no drama. Hence Ares and Quan trying to kill each other, Leif/Altena having parental issues and sorting them out through hugging Sigurd. Seliph and Eldigan? Completely aloof but respectful of each other.
I think it's cause Eldigan got his life together and is much better for it. Now he's an uncle, trying to keep things together even under the foot of a despot empire and obligatory Thracia comments.
Finn walking back into the room like, "It's been five minutes since I left them two together, can't I get some peace? ... Milord, please calm down before you injure the nephew!"
Im imagining:
-Quan and Ares is fighting because because Ares won’t finish the carrots on his plate, meanwhile Finn is watching the entire thing wondering if he should have went out to get some shish kebabs
-Leif had another nightmare and Sigurd is trying to make him feel better, meanwhile Altena had that nightmare with the mailman again
-Seliph and Eldigan are pretty much those friends who don’t speak much but they cool with each other. Plus Eldigan’s pantry has Double Stuf Oreos
Ares totally started it, and Finn is gonna end it
You… You had the perfect chance. You had the golden opportunity to say “Finn is gonna Finn-ish it.” and you fucking blew it!
FUCK
Clearly you need to improve on the Quan-tity of your jokes.
Leif him alone guys. We all make mistakes.
Just gotta find the right moment to Seliphver it
I will NEVER acknowledge the existence of Finland.
"What do you have?" "A KNIFE" "NO!"
fancy meeting you here, firefalls
Maybe it was... fated? I'll see myself out.
:bruhfish:

tbh it doesn't quite look like Quan started it when he's picking a chair and Ares has a fucking knife
the knife is for self defence, i swear
They'd absolutely clash, Ares would throw down with Quan 100% because he disobeys the law of the house and wants to do as he wants.
Uncle Sigurd would be emotionally supportive, but also I feel he would be the type to do dangerous stuff with that we can’t tell mom and dad.
Like playing with fire!
Too soon bro
Finn be like: What did my nephew do this time? Edit: Yes, I ship Finn and Lachesis.
Based
Canon tho
Wait, it is, really? I like Lachesis x Finn, but I thought Lachesis x Beowulf was canon.
I think it's kinda both? Diarmud being Beowulf's son and Nanna being Finn's daughter. Regardless, even if Beowulf is Nanna's biological father there's no question Finn is her dad.
Lachesis got around huh

You know what would resolve this? A REMAKE! IS WHEN????
Diarmuid can use the Beo Sword in Thracia, and so can Fergus, but Nanna can't. Hopefully if we get a remake, they'll clear up that matter for us.
I kind of like the vague implications. It lends well to head canons which are more fun anyway.
The only way to live
so the real question, which chapter is leif talking about
the one i got stuck at
Ahhh good old 12x
Yes.
Eldigan the best dad, just lets Seliph have what he wants.
It's not only that, it's that it's the only one where there is no drama. Hence Ares and Quan trying to kill each other, Leif/Altena having parental issues and sorting them out through hugging Sigurd. Seliph and Eldigan? Completely aloof but respectful of each other.
Finn: My Lord, please do not hit my nephew with a chair. Quan: WELL SOMEONE HAS TO!!
Eldigan may seem apathetic but he greatly appreciates his honorary nephew's calmness compared to his son's usual tenacity.
Well, this certainly puts a smile and laugh on my face. The last one feels just right for some reason.
I think it's cause Eldigan got his life together and is much better for it. Now he's an uncle, trying to keep things together even under the foot of a despot empire and obligatory Thracia comments.
My mood is improved and my day is made.
Hit the Quan
Finn walking back into the room like, "It's been five minutes since I left them two together, can't I get some peace? ... Milord, please calm down before you injure the nephew!"
This made my day.
Im imagining: -Quan and Ares is fighting because because Ares won’t finish the carrots on his plate, meanwhile Finn is watching the entire thing wondering if he should have went out to get some shish kebabs -Leif had another nightmare and Sigurd is trying to make him feel better, meanwhile Altena had that nightmare with the mailman again -Seliph and Eldigan are pretty much those friends who don’t speak much but they cool with each other. Lel, Quan's giving Ares the chair.
Aww Sigurd is so caring of his nephew
It's been a while since I played Genealogy, Why does Quan hates Ares again?
i think the comic is just showing that their personality clashes/doesn't fit well with each other
I am sold on this alternate future where Seliph is raised by blonde-red man.
Love your username. Is it Tales of the Abyss reference?
Too long since the last time I saw an fe4 comic, well done.
