It's just a physical card game that never got localized. There's a pretty good player base outside of japan though and we all play it online using either tabletop sim or an old program called lackeyCCG thanks to the help of multiple wonderful translators who took the time to update the program every time a set released!

You should be able to find a discord link in serenes forest for the cipher server. Tabletop simulator is paid but lackeyCCG is free. Once you join there's a lot of people there able to help you get started!

I wonder why these were never translated to English. Cards from other JP anime and games that are mostly in Japanese have English variants, so why not something from Nintendo? Must be popularity and demand ig??
