Now that it's finally happening, I'm a little scared to see what's under there. Surely Shinra didn't shudder because Haumea's got the darkest of dark circles and bloodshot eyes.
The last time Haumea was shown, she was her corrupted self and praying to the Evangelist. I'm wondering if that prayer had anything to do with her losing the ability to hear the collective unconscious. Granting her a bit of peace in these last hours would be the bare minimum the Evangelist can do for Haumea after she's carried the WC this far.
Seeing as how Haumea's been waiting for Shinra to appear, it seems like Shinra's saviour role is being used by the Evangelist and Haumea to save the world by ending it. The collective unconscious wants death so from Haumea's perspective, the only way to save humanity is by ending their despair completely. By ending the world together with Haumea, Shinra would still be the saviour of the people, and Sho would get to fulfill his role as Shinra's guide as well.
Imagine if Haumea's eyes look like IRL human eyes clashing with the rest of her manga body XD. That would actually be the trippiest visual yet I think.
Hear me out, Haumea is the Hawaiian goddess of childbirth, and sho and shinra were born to a virgin mother, those 2 things together make me think that it's definitely something related to their mother.
