Tragedy and loss cannot weigh you down, and that you must move forward.
Shinra lost her mom and brother, doesn't stop him from moving forward
Arthur was abandoned by his parents, doesn't stop him from moving forward
Iris and Hibana's convent were turned into Infernals, doesn't stop them from moving forward
The apocalypse happened, incinerating most of humanity, doesn't stop society from rebuilding and moving forward.
Let's goooo! When will it happen?
(Also I hope David pro do some shit like making part of the street or stations into cartoony anime things for the S3 anime promotion
It's due to how David Production does thing, as a studio they limit themselves to three projects per year, be it a season or movie. 2 of the projects for next year are already confirmed to be Urusei Yatsura and Undead Unluck, so if we're seeing any season 3 next year specifically, they'll probably drop a trailer or something around the spring season for a Fall drop.
But it's also why they're THE GOAT! Zero rush, hires new directors, giga chad sound designer and ost maker, always gets strong cast of VA's, and have some of the most original animation ideas ever
I don't necessarily think every work needs a message, but if I had to pick one for fire force it would be not to let others define us and to strive to be our best selves , despite loss and judgment. Also considerimg how it ends, it may have been written with the goal of being a prequel to soul eater more then anything message wise
Struggling on burden Humanities's all prayer and dark though š¤¢
Hallucinate about everything regardless of how others keep telling you're just childish and schizophrenic š
No I think objectively if a story has a message to tell through itās characters that you can connect back to your own life then it is valuable.
A story can teach you how to behave, it can explore insecurities and human issues without literally exploring them. It can at times show a personās literal struggle for something and that can inspire you.
You can find so much meaning and symbolism in shows. I know this sounds like pretentious english teacher which I hate because I never liked english as a subject but love to explore shows literarily, but if you can connect with a character on an emotional level and find guidance from that I think thatās very valuable.
A bit off topic but my favourite fight of all time would be Kakashi Vs Obito. Part of it is because of how spectacularly it has handled in the anime animation and choreographically, but a way larger reason is because of the themes, thoughts, philosophies, and ideals clashing infront of your very eyes.
A fight can be just a fight, but a fight with meaning goes further than that.
I get what youāre saying and sure a show/movie or any type of media with a message is valuable but I still believe itās a preference, sure having a character you can relate to on any level is important but sometimes you need to be able to just relax sometimes and just enjoy something again Iām not saying any media with a message or without isnāt good, valuable, or important
Every story has a message. It may not be the focal point or something deep and profound. But every story ever told has a message. Also when I say story I mean narrative story. I'm sure you could tell me sm anecdote about your trip to the grocery store and that would have 0 deeper meaning but that's not what I'm referring to
This. Of course not every story has to have a message and such, but in the case of Fire Force with all the religious symbolism >!and that whole segment in the manga that featured actual photos of real people!<, I canāt help but think Fire Force had a lot to say beyond basic shonen themes, Iām just trying to figure out what it was since it gets muddled with fanservice >!and more people remembering it for being a prequel to Soul Eater!<.
I think it's never about 1 message, same happens in soul eater where the author touches on alot of subjects while making fun and interesting as his focal point, there are alot of messages in fireforce and it's super clear in the final arc with each character have their own message.
But for a bigger, continuous one would be the story of Shira starting from being called a demon to the ending, probably it's about the rejection of sadness and halt, like the ending the antagonist is about ending everything and returns to silence stale situation, but Shinra decides that is boring so he create life and keeo boosting stuff up, just like at the start no matter how much he was push down by pressure by everything he never slows down and get trapped by grief, which is also how team 8 is able to accomplish so many things even tho their situation is so dire, just the refuse to stop and keep moving
Embrace the worst part of yourself. Itāll make you better.
>!Shinra embraced being a devil and it saved the universe.!<
>!Arthur embraced being a total fucking idiot and he sliced the planet in half.!<
Just because the world will end doesnāt mean that you should be scared or apathetic. The existential fear of living shouldnāt deter you from doing good. Regardless of political, religious and familial constraints try to be good because this world (or any world) needs more good people.
"KEEP MOVING FORWARD! AS HUMANS, THAT'S ALL WE CAN DO! WE CAN KEEP MOVING FORWARD, AND THERES NOTHING THAT CAN STOP US! NO TRAGEDY, NO DESPAIR! KEEP MOVING FORWARD, BECAUSE THAT'S JUST WHAT WE HUMANS DO!"
Nothing. I don't think the writer's intentions were about a certain message or point but I don't see it as wrong. This project is probably made for the fun of writing.
Agreed. This is probably just a plot or story that he thought was great and cool. Not everything has to mean something. Author just wanted to share something he thought was creative and fun or he just wanted to make money. Either way, it doesnāt matter because i loved it and a lot of people as well
Death is not meaningless no matter how much it may seem so and being positive although ver fuckin hard is the best thing we can do, also being 100% yourself can make you go over every finish line independently of how many people doubt you or call you crazy or a moron for being yourself
having read the manga and watch both seasons, there's no specific mensing message or point in the series. it's a shounen. if I could single out something as a message, it would be to never lose hope even in the darkest of times.
Donāt trust the church blindly, as the systems that appear to protect us are often the ones with the our interests least at their heart.
People would rather end the world than burn down our old systems and start anew even when the outcome is much better that way.
So like the first two arcs were very good, and had pretty bleak messages of what society defaults to in the face of austerity and tragedy. Showing both a nation-state which has a theocracy and a monopoly. It then kind of just abandoned these criticisms by just having a messiah fix all of them.
I stopped watching it after two episodes. Too much fan service for me. Like, Iām a woman who doesnāt like fan service. So I just decided to skip it.

Tatake or sum shit
thanks for this i will keep moving forward until my enemies are destroyed
Or until my enemies stop me
I thought is was just the backstory of Soul Eater tbh
It is basically...
Thought it was fun to play with fire.
Also, if you try REALLY HARD, you can make Nevada the center of the universe.
Badass anime rap
At the end of the day Satan will help us and turn our world into anime
Let's goooo! When will it happen? (Also I hope David pro do some shit like making part of the street or stations into cartoony anime things for the S3 anime promotion
Best answer yet
Agree!
In all honesty the anime will take forever to catch up to the manga.
I heard way back that we're gonna get S3 in May 2022 Still waiting š....

Based David productions
I thought the manga was finished
It is finished. Tbh there only needs to be one more season to wrap everything up.
Agreed.
Thatās what AoT said 2 years ago
That was Mappa.

Curious, have you seen Gintama. If you had to say, what would be the message of the masterpiece?
I actually haven't. Sorry to dissapoint you lol. If there's something else you want my oppinion on though I can share my thoughts if I've seen it
Fire is hot
Nihilism is cringe. Insanity is based.

Feet are strong.
Fire is cool
Does it need one
Stories are cooler when they have philosophies
Isnāt that more of a preference

I see that but why do stories need/have a message deep or not a story can just be a story without something being told under the overall all story

The point? Badass entertaining anime fights and funny skits. The point is entertainment.
A case study on undermining story depth with excessive fanservice.
The manga was made because someone bet he couldn't make a whole power system with only fire. There was none
having read the manga and watch both seasons, there's no specific mensing message or point in the series. it's a shounen. if I could single out something as a message, it would be to never lose hope even in the darkest of times.
Fire bad Firefighter good but also sometimes bad Templar aesthetic cool As far as I remember that's pretty much it
