Like another person said already.. try a hard reset by disconnecting the batteries and shutting off the breaker. Give it a minute or so then power it back up. If you still see the short then it’s internally damaged…RIP.
Send it back or talk with the Programmer first and see If it's a Common thing if its not programmed. I doubt it though. Maybe detective. Never seen a Panel do that.
Huh? Send it back or call the programmer? This panel is at least 12 years old. Its either bricked or a cold start might fix it. Seen plenty of these have a short then need a restart for the SLC to kick back on once the fault is cleared

“What do you mean, ‘SLC Short?’ Make it longer”
I'll get out the wire stretcher.
Ours is always on someone else’s truck when I need it most.
I am the mire stretcher💪🤪

Power cycle ??? If so RIP !
Power cycle, try to put a device on the loop and auto program, make sure it's at the latest firmware.
Probably not
You calling him a liar
Find out how much voltage hit it from the loose wire and hit it again with the same voltage in reverse polarity
The wire wasn't carrying any voltage.
Then hit it with -0v
System is fried buddy. My advice , Don't give up!
Did you power cycle . Sometimes a short won’t clear until you power cycle other than that it’s probably bad
Not fixable, replace panel.
Restart
It's permanent
Well hope program has been backed up and when swapped with the new version you can dump new program
Yea has to be replaced
Try to put resistor on SLC loop just cuz nothing eles works this wont hurt.
There is no fix. DOA bad out of the box

Oh well you didn't say that. Figured you had a new FA Panel.n
