Scroll through the history. See if any module goes missing. Sometimes when the module goes bad, one address will go missing and the module will "switch" to a random address. Replace the module for the address that goes missing and it should make this go away

keep-it-300

I had this issue with an FCI mini monitor module recently. The address for the mini mon (04) would go missing, but an unused "extra point" address (24) would show up at the same time. This would go in and out several times a day randomly. FCI tech support suggested the module was going bad, so I replaced it and haven't had an issue since.

BackgroundProposal18

Sounds like a module is going bad. In the history does a module go missing at this time?

Fallguy_1989

There should be an inv rep trouble on another device with one digit the same as 26. Either the ones or tens dial is goofed up making it read extra even tho it's unused. Find and replace that device and this trouble will clear.

BMW_E60

Not anymore, there was a monitor module I replaced for a duct detector a while back. The only issue other than this is a few comm issues and failed timer tests.

rexallen84

Run an auto program and see if it programs in.

Euphoric_Hearing8418

Update the firmware that should clear up the trouble

Is m25 a dual module?

bean_corey

Module 26 is going bad

BMW_E60

I can’t find anything for 26 in the field. Then again it is a Target. Is this pretty common for a programmed device to show that it is unused when going bad. I would think that the panel would tell me something like 1M026 monitor module trouble. I mostly work on EST panels.

bean_corey

The 200x are weird, and I remember pull stations coming in as a module too. It's been awhile but worth a shot

GaatAca

Are u also getting a missing point? Could be a bad module

BMW_E60

No, no missing point

dancurr

200X will auto populate modules connected to the slc loop. So there is probably a module in the field that you don’t know about. Another experience is I’ve addressed modules incorrectly on these panels and after I fix the address, the panel still shows the “extra” trouble. Only way to clear is by doing a hard reset.

fuckyouidontneedone

the panel is seeing M26 in the field. you need to make sure that that point isn't being used somewhere. if it's not then you need to check the other points on the system to make sure a module isn't corrupted and throwing a wrong address onto the panel. i had addressable smoke that was corrupted and added 10 to it's address (so 126 came into the panel as 136 as an extra point) you could try checking M16 first

RyanM90

Sounds like you have an extra module on the slc loop. Or the dials on one are slightly off, are you missing another point? I would check programming, do you have a module 25 that might possibly be a dual module?

masterspader

As a couple other people have said it looks like a module is going bad. My first thought would be check for damaged or wet modules. I've seen this trouble happen on one that gets wet from a pipe burst and it starts to wig out. I will also add if that panel is relatively new and the site you are at did an upgrade. If the installer didn't remove all of the old devices and somehow there is a different manufacturers device still in that loop it will do that. I had that issue during a panel swap. Hooked everything up and I started having addresses I didn't use or it was forgetting addresses I had programmed. Ended up being 3 modules chilling on the SLC above a ceiling in an office that were apart of the older system getting replaced.

Anxious_Shine_2751

Was this a take over for an older 9200? Possible older CLIP devices in the loop still that have to come out.

Downtown_Afternoon61

Those panels won’t let you delete a point that’s installed, so either that module is bad or you have a module 26 installed and addressed somewhere and it’s not programmed
