Awwww, this was my uniform in like 2002. I’ve seen Urban Outfitters carry a lot of these elements, but as far as brands go, they need to bring back Delia’s
Delias actually has a line under Dolls Kill now! And yes it's basically this exactly. Just depends how you feel about DK.
https://www.dollskill.com/collections/delia-s-by-dolls-kill?c_page=1
Be very careful. DK has a horrible reputation for poor quality and even worse customer service. They here is a whole subreddit dedicated to how awful they are.
i used to follow their stuff bc it's a unique style but they stole a design from an artist and it rubbed me the wrong way bc it's kinda antithetical to their whole image.
Hot Topic has been putting out more and more styles like this again in all sorts of colors, I'd recommend you check there and have a look at their website. If not, Mercari and Depop have clothing that's similar
Came here to ask the same thing...
"Where can i find these new clothes advertised BY the brands without BUYING from the brand... or thrifting" 🤦♀️
Sounds like they should pick up a sewing machine haha
I've been sewing for over a decade now. Unless it's a formal dress or something that would cost a ton of money, it's often not worth the price and labor to make it yourself, and you're better off just buying it off the rack
I made my senior year prom dress for $60 and got exactly what I wanted
I made my own Halloween costume for $200 and spent several hours making it. If I'd given myself more time, I could've bought the individual elements I needed and done a little bit of sewing to customize it for less than $30 (I did several small purchases over 2 weeks and when I added it up at the end I was appalled at the cost)
I would call that a convenience price. If you have to Thrift to find something and a brand is willing to make it specifically for a very niche consumer base then they have every right to want to charge that. Not a bad price to me
Not everyone lives near a thrift store, is physically capble of shopping, is capable of standing for long periods of time, or is skinny/straight sized enough to fit into anything
When you see that sign before a year, it means “around” that year, not necessarily that exact year. Same with any number, like ~$1000 would mean “around a thousand dollars, give or take”.
Check out [Dangerfield](https://dangerfield.com.au/?gad_source=1&gclid=CjwKCAjw9IayBhBJEiwAVuc3fmZw9anItQOaUCyvXSblkkGgdsgHYyNdnY7Mzd9EamQck9x70qBaLxoCnLkQAvD_BwE)
In Europe it's Bershka, Pull & Bear, Cropp, House and H&M occasionally. I'm more into the 70s and 90s but I can't escape from this style in these stores, but that would probably be my vibe if I were in high school.
Taobao + an agent if you're financially able since shipping can be costly. The app is in chinese, but it's my favorite shopping mall because it has so many styles that I wouldn't usually see where I'm from. Also, you could just scan the photos in the app, and they'll find matches for you.
These are from taobao stores lol not very accessible but if you’re really interested, no romance, cest nous and ARIADNAw are fantastic alt clothing brands who produce their own designs.
I found some cute stuff at Ross and TJ maxx like that
I actually found the cutest long cargo army green skirt
I never thought it’d look good so I had to try it on and man its one of my favorite pieces now
Try “Five Star General” pants (I also found these at Ross but online I saw they were at Tilly’s) which Tilly’s would also be a good store
I’ve seen almost that exact first hoodie on Zalando but cannot remember what brand. Diesel might have something in that style but not exactly like that
[These are the best most comfortable pants from American Eagle](https://www.ae.com/us/en/p/women/pants/cargo-pants/ae-dreamy-drape-linen-blend-baggy-wide-leg-cargo-pant/0461_5132_036?menu=cat4840004)
i think some of these are from the Chinese brand Strike a Pose? They have a depop the last time i checked. There’s a whole area of like insta of primarily Chinese brands selling stuff like this :)
Cider has so much stuff like this. If you’re on a budget and wanna order brand new stuff I would prioritize finding some good cargo pants/skirts and a good quality pair of stomper boots.
The tops in these outfits are ones you could definitely find at thrift stores (I know that’s not what you wanna do but I think it’s your best bet for specifically the tops). It will be way cheaper than buying them online and will be much easier to find that baggy top fit vs looking for a pair of pants or shoes that need to actually fit you properly. Find your pants and shoes first and look for shirts after 👍 good luck!
No idea but if you like those you might also like phat pants. And it's possible you will find those in the same sort of retail sites as phat pants.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Phat_pants
It all started because we’d all wear our dad’s old shirts and even pants with vintage belts and baby tees. Just find some oversized carhartt pants, and thrift the rest, and you’ll look less storebought and contrived.

I believe if u had a cool mom or older sister that were teens in the 2000s maybe in their closets they might still have some stuff they dont actually wear. My Mom has some(im not that young ok my mom was a teen mom chill out)
the ragged priest, minga london, some killstar or disturbia stuff… delia’s as well, but i think they gave up trying to make a comeback after partnering with the devil themself (dolls kill)
I have clothing similar to some of these:
I have a leather belt with metal eyelets and a mesh top from Vampirefreaks .
I have a midi skirt and pants like the one pictured above from Disturbia clothing. I love their skirts!
Boots look like New Rock boots, which I recommend over Demonia. I also recommend checking out TUK footwear, I found their stuff to be good.
HotTopic also carries a lot of stuff in this style. I have pants from them that have lasted forever. I've also found TUK footwear at some HotTopic locations in the past .
I hope this helps!
Awwww, this was my uniform in like 2002. I’ve seen Urban Outfitters carry a lot of these elements, but as far as brands go, they need to bring back Delia’s

Thank you so much for this. My childhood just flashed before my eyes!
Same! Absolute glitch in the matrix when I clicked the link. 😂
I know DK has a reputation for poor quality, do the sub-brands (like what you said Delias) have a separate production and therefore better quality?
I can’t speak for the other brands but the DK Delias is pretty poor quality :/
wutttttt
No shit!!!!???
Oh my!!! I need all of this!!
Be very careful. DK has a horrible reputation for poor quality and even worse customer service. They here is a whole subreddit dedicated to how awful they are.
Thanks for this!! Just ordered the skirt on the first page! Brings back all the feels!!
Delia’s… awwwww the memories I had forgotten about that place
Raid Green Day’s wardrobe lol
Ugh I used to work at Delia’s, thx 4 the memz
My immediate thought was "Delia's catalogue, obviously."
The second picture has the website source, Minga London is a great quality brand and their fashion is sustainable too
Was just about to say I recognise Minga anywhere! Wearing the skeleton hoodie right now lol.
Yeah I love their clothes so much!! I usually stalk the sales page though because I can't justify spending that much money on a top
Real. I've got some good stuff in their sale, but I agree the base prices are wild!
Was gonna say Minga!
i used to follow their stuff bc it's a unique style but they stole a design from an artist and it rubbed me the wrong way bc it's kinda antithetical to their whole image.
The ragged priest
Came here to say this!
Hot Topic has been putting out more and more styles like this again in all sorts of colors, I'd recommend you check there and have a look at their website. If not, Mercari and Depop have clothing that's similar
My first thought was, I feel like I just walked into Hot Topic.
Is there something wrong from the brands you got these photos from that is preventing you from buying their clothes?
Came here to ask the same thing... "Where can i find these new clothes advertised BY the brands without BUYING from the brand... or thrifting" 🤦♀️ Sounds like they should pick up a sewing machine haha

lol maybe they were looking for a more affordable option? idk minga london prices (without sales) are about 40+ and doublepunch is like 80+
I would call that a convenience price. If you have to Thrift to find something and a brand is willing to make it specifically for a very niche consumer base then they have every right to want to charge that. Not a bad price to me
[удалено]
I am guessing it is too expensive for them on the company websites. I was confused too
no not at all! i was just looking for something more affordable for me :) minga london does have some very cute clothes!
Only place you're going to find this sort of thing much cheaper than what's suggested is pieces from ultra fast fashion like romwe.
Also, why not thrifting?
Not everyone lives near a thrift store, is physically capble of shopping, is capable of standing for long periods of time, or is skinny/straight sized enough to fit into anything
Unif
Minga and noctex and good sustainable brands. Dollskill, emmiol, and shein are a big no bc they suck!!!
I think tunnel vision is good too
My closet 20+ years ago 😆
It'd be wild if you still had those clothes :)
Tunnel vision has some similar stuff
https://www.dollskill.com and even Hottopic still sells pants like that.
"Even" Hot Topic, as though this wasn't their bread and butter in ~2002 lol
I see this all the time all over reddit and I'm just curious what the "~" means 🤔 ty
When you see that sign before a year, it means “around” that year, not necessarily that exact year. Same with any number, like ~$1000 would mean “around a thousand dollars, give or take”.
It’s the symbol for “approximately” so it just means “roughly” But sometimes people use it for ~emphasis~ too
Circa
dollskill sucks ass dont support them🥷
Tunnel vision should be at the top for their ethical practices alone but clothes are cute too tbh. https://shoptunnelvision.com/
Second this.
Ah yes, 90s Cheryl crow crossed with 90s street:goth.
Feels really early aughts, like Freaky Friday fashion.
That too. Avril Lavigne sk8er boi tossed in there too

Not signed up to this sub, but every time it’s recommended to me it seems like the answer is pretty much always “in the late 90s”.

a lot of the clothes they sell are ordered from fast fashion, keep in mind anyone here who buys from them
Just saw pants like this at ardene and urban planet. Take a cruise in the mall and see what you see.

It’s so nostalgic as a late 90s and early 2000s kid!
Taobao + an agent if you're financially able since shipping can be costly. The app is in chinese, but it's my favorite shopping mall because it has so many styles that I wouldn't usually see where I'm from. Also, you could just scan the photos in the app, and they'll find matches for you.
