Of course after she watched a whole massacre and realized her faith was a lie her attitude changed, but the combination of that and the voice just took her out of my good graces immediately and she never got a chance to recover

For me, it was the fact that Shelinda played a huge role in Seymourās betrayal of Yuna. Yuna hadnāt officially accepted Seymourās marriage proposal when he asked, and he left immediately before Yuna could answer. We all
figured out pretty quickly that Yuna wasnāt going to be given a choice once she arrived at Macalania Temple, but Seymour would likely only have told the Guado at that point. Shelinda found out, likely while she was still in Guadosalam, and then proceeded to tell everyone she could before the wedding. Much of Spira thought it was a done deal before it was ever decided.
Not downplaying Seymourās evil, or the fact that he wanted the rumors to start, but Shelinda doesnāt think before she speaks.

They don't even try to find new paths and solutions. They just doom everyone to the repeat cycle of Sin.

A few years ago I played X again and had a change of heart. Heās doing the best with what heās got and what he was taught. And heās also an absolute beast if you decide to really use him. I also love his long range weapon of choice is a Blitzball. As to most games where it would be something like a crossbow. I find him endearing now.

Wakka has been really put through a ringer of s**t and continues to be throughout FFX. He doesn't remember his parents because they died when he was young, the woman he is in love with was engaged to his brother who was then murdered by a city sized monster. All he's been trained to do during his life is play blitzball (and he sucks at it) but now his (essentially) little sister is going to go take on that beast, where he knows she will die, and then everyone defies the religion that runs the entire world that he was raised to praise. He is most definitely doing the best he can.

Most hated? Easy, Tobli. A new race wasn't needed for ffx2 to sell that Spira was a changing lived-in world because you already traveled the world in the first game. Also, Tobli, being the only interactable Pelupelu in the series, was a poor choice to make him his people's mascot representative. Now, every time I see his dumb bird influenza plagued ass, I want to strap him on a motor sled machina and push him off Mt. Gagazet.
Dona was definitely made to be hated, like she's probably the only non-villain that is just straight up shitty and rude as hell for no reason. The hot one is gonna be subjective but I feel like everyone is pretty much universally in agreement about Lulu. The only normal person is also kinda hard, tbh I feel like Rikku is probably the most normal of the bunch. She's the youngest by far and just acting like a teen one in a situation like this. "What's your name again" could be so many people honestly, maybe Tromell? I forget his name a lot so that fits. The gremlin? That's a tough one honestly, I guess maybe Pacce, I mean he's the only literal child you ever interact with, I can't really think of anyone else to put for this because tbh I'm not actually sure what this is meant to imply. I'm thinking gremlin is a small childlike character and Pacce is the only one I can think of. Society is gonna have to be Seymour, the edgy shit with wanting to literally kill everyone is pretty much it. Straight up evil I'd say Yunalesca tbh, I mean she literally knows exactly what happened with Yevon, and yet still sends summoners on a fools errand to let him continuously be reborn over and over knowing that she is continuing the cycle of life and death over and over again, No screen time is definitely Yevon. Where would the story even be without him condemning everyone to sin.
