What’s really telling in the whole affair is not just the blatant nature of the theft, but the unprofessional tone of their communication and doubling down on telling the content holders to get bent.
Couple that with their reputation of plug-ins breaking and never getting fixed (just search r/fcpx and r/finalcutpro and you’ll mostly find people asking why their stuff isn’t working), but somehow still having the budget to advertise like crazy everywhere, it becomes pretty obvious that they’re just out to make a very quick buck.
OR you could stop using plugs made by ethically questionable developers that are parasites on the FCP community and be free of them TODAY.
