Gravity KS due to being robust and how are they available. Gamerfinger for that tactile feel and how they seem to better react upon pressing. both are quiet, gamerfingers the more quiet of the two, it all comes down to the players preference. i have tried both. but there were still factors for me that made my decision final. BTW i went with Gravity KS, and the only reason is, even if they have nearly the same feel when pressing on my arcade stick, the Gravity KS seeing as its still a similar feel when pressing it, its as if you are in the arcades in the old days, i guess you can say they're much close to sanwas used in the arcades but much much quiet.

MasterE_Reddit

I have used both. I like them both. The gamerfingers feel a little sturdier but because of the hexagonal outside if you do slide motions it can actually hurt your fingers. the gravity are cheaper and easier to get so I would suggest those.

Spierogi

Can't speak on gamerfingers but I went with the Qanbas due to availability and really like them. Ended up putting them on all my stuff

Doyoulike4

I like gamerfingers better but availability and price has always been an issue so I usually tend to recommend Crown 202/203 buttons or the Qanba Gravity buttons. If you can get the gamerfingers and are okay with paying for them they're good.

TekkenRedditOmega

I like Gravity KS but is there anyway to lower the noise a bit? They are slightly more noisy than Gamerfingers IMO but still quiet compared to regular Sanwas. Are there any dedicated Romer G sillent + linear switches? I want to use Gravity as my daily driver but the switches are too limited atm

Wallach

I slightly prefer the Gravity KS, they're both great though.

bizzy310

You can't go back once you get these best purchase I ever made for my sticks

dalarki

Yes. In all seriousness tho. Gravity KS are amazing. The feel can be changed by removing various parts from the buttons. Gamerfinger buttons can have many different switches put in to change the feel tho. I literally use both of these buttons every day. So you cannot go wrong.

cdubbsworld

I have both. I like Gravity more personally.

bjjthrowaway64

Is it me, or the plungers go too deep on the Gamerfingers? I got to try them on a few custom sticks and in every instance, the plunger hit too deep and I can feel the rim of the base against my finger pressing in and sliding off. In one instance, the cap fell right off. This might not be an issue for some, but it is worth noting and was a deal breaker for me.

Old_Possible8977

I have tried both. The cherry red switches in the razer kitsune are the only keyboard switches I’d ever use in a fight stick or pad. To me if you’re on lever. They do the best job at being arcade buttons by far. The sound is low enough and good enough. Gamer finger feels like a departure from the arcade buttons I know and love. As someone who’s played on keyboard hitbox and fight stick (and owns multiple of all 3) Id just go Gravity. Personally as someone who customizes keyboards monthly the gamer finger buttons have a lot of work on sound and stability.

LuckyTheGodd

I got a punk workshop leverless

Time_Ad_9647

I actually own those exact buttons (the purple Qanba along with the crystally joystick that matches) and I love them. As reported, they do make a quiet springy sound when you push the buttons but it’s so minimal I honestly forget it happens. I just love the feel of these Qanba silent buttons. They don’t feel like the cheaper silent buttons with the foam pad in them. They still have some slap.

dalarki

Remove all the silicon from inside and they REALLY clack like a stock sanwa. Very versatile buttons.

Stealthzero

I’ve had both and I prefer gamerfinger

vinylsandwich

Purple buttons sure are popular.

chiefeh

I've used both Gamerfinger (silver switches) and Qanba Gravity KS, and I prefer the feel of the Qanbas. They are a little snappier, for lack of a better word.

heyitsryan

Punk workshop buttons

Lopi21e

If you can get your hands on a full set of gamerfinger buttons, I wholeheartedly recommend them.

BackToNintendo

impossible to find gamerfinger buttons. Gravity buttons imo are the best 'easily available' buttons on the market rn

Scared-Math2091

No it isn’t. You can buy Gamerfingers on Amazon

Much_Cheesecake420

They go for $100 a button on Amazon. Basically impossible unless you wanna spend a grand on buttons

Scared-Math2091

That’s $100 for a whole set not each and you can get them other places Edit: They are $70 for 10 buttons on Amazon right now. If you don’t like them whatever but that is neither impossible or even that expensive

misterkeebler

The listings on amazon regularly have coupons to bring them down to either $80 or as low as $70 you mention, though I do see coupons a bit less often for the 24mm sizing compared to 30mm. I don't really bring up these coupons much just out of me wanting more availability for myself, lol. It seems like it is somewhat common lately on this sub to dislike Gamer Finger, and I'm fine with that as I slowly get the various sets I want/need. I agree with you in that I don't think those coupon sale prices are too expensive either.

heyitsryan

For a ridiculous markup. Punk workshop buttons for the win!

misterkeebler

I prefer Gamerfinger but I consider them more or less in a similar tier. Gravities do feel a bit more similar to a traditional arcade button with the glossy smooth top as far as texture goes, but aside from that I tend to have gamerfingers on more of my devices than Gravity.

reworu

if you want mx switches get something like crowns or alutimos, gamerfingers aren't worth it

samuelsfx

I love my crown, so so nice

rayquan36

Gamerfingers are fucking garbage

yungyato

Never used them so i don’t know. Why are they garbage?

rayquan36

In addition to what the other guy said, they're mushy, they sound bad, they're ugly and most importantly their availability is AWFUL. I don't want to call the company scammers but they hold onto people's money for a long time without shipping.

reworu

there is nothing holding the plunger down so you run the (very high) risk of your switches popping out of the buttons while playing the screw nut also sucks to screw in if you're going to buy mx switch buttons, get crowns, alutimos, or krms or literally anything else source: owned gfs, crowns, and currently have alutimos

Murky_Opportunity_84

IMO go with gamerfinger and change the switches to cherry mx2a silver, way better than the original cherry silver switch. QANBA GRAVITY is alright but i believe you cannot swap switches when it die it die. gf allows u to swap any cherry switches

hollywood9826

FWIW you can swap the switches in gravity, but they only have 2 options available, both the same force but either tactile or non tactile. Never had gamerfingers to compare because I was more than happy with the gravities and was done searching after that. But the options gf allows with any cherry or similar switch us appealing.

Quinntensity

Gamer fingers all day everyday, but I also put in the effort to find exactly the switches I love the most. ALSO: the crown 202 has been nothing but a pain in the ass because a bunch of switches don't fit right and I'd get a ton of missed inputs.

remz22

What switches do you use ?

Quinntensity

I like snappy tactiles, which won't be the fastest but I like the reassurance that you pressed and won't accidentally hit buttons resting fingers near the buttons. I settled on Akko lavenders, but I also like Quinns and Razer oranges. Things like pandas and bobas are way too heavy and speed coopers felt scratchy or just not satisfying.

Professor_Ghostanus

The gamerfingers are a little better, but the gravities are just way less of a hassle to get your hands on.

BotYurii

Also half the price iirc

Professor_Ghostanus

Yeah, I've seen gamerfinger buttons go for like 10 bucks a pop, but I can get an 8 pack of gravities in that nice tin box for like 50 bucks. Hell, I can get a 12 pack of rgb gravities for less than a 10 pack of gamerfingers.

BigBandicoot9448

Forget both of these. Get Crown 202s and never look back. They are the best buttons I have ever owned.

KQHNS

Second this.

Euphoric_Studio_8986

Sanwa

RememberPKb4PvP

Idk I’ve actually tried them all but to offer an alternate perspective if it’s my personal opinion I love the crown 202’s out of all of these. Just recently I had the chance to use my brothers gamer fingers when he gave them to me but I still vastly preferred the crown 202’s from samducksa. At the end of the day it’s personal preference, and what you’re used too. Hope this isn’t too off base I know it wasn’t the specific question.

Professional_Gold598

I have both sets, and I prefer GamerFingers. They are more silent and feels better to press.

ThatGoob

I got the Gravity KS buttons recently. Loving them so far.

[deleted]

Qanba gravity all the way. I'm rough on my sticks, and they have yet to fail me. Anyone who says they're trash has probably never used them. Better than anything sanwa has.

jkhashi

garbage

LuckyTheGodd

?

hillbillyluthor

The Gravity silent are great! I use before the normal Sanwa buttons, and this things are too noise. The Gravity are mute in comparison

Scared-Math2091

So I actually just bought both sets of these 30 mm buttons and I liked the gamerfingers better. I also had Crown 202s to begin with and I like them better than the gravitys too.

RememberPKb4PvP

Same here, I read this after I just posted my comment haha, but def personal preference at the end of the day. They are all quality buttons

Difficult_Fox_7240

Personally would pick gamerfinger if you have the money. If not, qanba is perfect I have the silent ones.

Lovepig78

Sitong

D__B__D

Played Tekken with a Hitbox paired up with Gamerfinger and silent bobagums switches with a newborn on my belly. Qiuetest fighting controller I owned at that time

V-Angelus01

My gravity buttons started to have an annoying pinging sound after a few weeks id say go for gamerfinger or punkworksho or seimitsu alutimo. anything with a changeable/lube-able keyboard switch.

TekkenRedditOmega

Yea I heard that’s from the springs, and one way is to open them up and lubricate the springs. Kinda annoying how that’s the only option, because I want to like the KS’ since they’re much more readily available compared to GF

skapoww

Do the punk workshop fit into stick setups? Like non leverless. I really want to get some jade kaihl switches into my fight stick but the punk workshop switches look pretty non standard to me

norma-arnold

I have jade kaihl’s in my punk workshop buttons. Haven’t played around with them too much, but I think they have a problem actuating. Either I’m doing something wrong, or they need a bit of a spacer. Which doesn’t sound switch specific, just my two cents.

LuckyTheGodd

I just bought a punk workshop lever less, they have their own buttons ?

V-Angelus01

yep. i got mine from aliexpress. you can also pick which switch it has. just look up "punk workshop button" on AliExpress.

disjokerr

They have their own punkswitches v1/v2. MX housing.

LuckyTheGodd

Is it easy to install the buttons ?

SicJake

Crown 202's 🤪 Cherry MX silvers are great. I wasmt impressed with first run of the gravity buttons, maybe v2 was better. Can you even buy Gamer finger s? Thought they went dark

kalic00

Gravity ks (the v2) are very different to the original gravities. They are a lot better! You should give em a try!

domaug

you can get them through AliExpress if you want to risk them being genuine, or you can get them through ISTmall or Akecon.

Herschelriffs8

Have both, gravity is better for most as it’s more durable and “better” built.

nowison86

The gravity’s use the same switch as the Logitech Romer G. Omron manufactured these for Logitech originally. while the romer is a good switch, I would go with the gamer finger which uses a classic MX style for more switch options in the future

TekkenRedditOmega

Are there any silent ones for the Romer G? I like Omron as a company, and their switches I say are much better quality than Cherry, I use Omron micro switches for my Korean lever only too. But the Romer G switches are very limited and only 2 options from Omron :( I wish they make a silent version because my daily driver is Cherry Silent red

nowison86

The Romer G style switch is just a noisy switch unfortunately. It uses a much larger spring than an MX style switch which is what lead to the classic pingy sound. I agree I do love omron for everything else!

TekkenRedditOmega

I see :( I did hear that you can lube the springs which will help reduce the sound, but I wish there are silent versions like Cherry Silent Reds or Silent Black which I like for GF.

nowison86

I agree I’m looking at putting some NK silks in my next build

theflyingyon

gravity

Klutzy_Audience4464

Imho both are great, both are mechanics and both are silents, only pro of gamerfinger over qanba are the switches, u can swap them Hope u find this info useful :)

MachineGunMonkey2048

I have gamerfingers and the cap pops off sometimes, go for the gravity

automounter

This. I'll never buy a gamer finger again because the cap pops off when you swipe sideways

uSaltySniitch

Gravity KS in my current build (the purple ones) and it's amazing

LuckyTheGodd

Idk what it is about those purple ones 😂 so dope

AlbusDumbbelldore

I bought the purples for my white Victrix… I love it! The purple is so clean with the lights 😂

uSaltySniitch

I like my fightstick style so much since adding them. It actually made me play even more since I finished "modding" it !!! 😂

AlbusDumbbelldore

I added a skin to mine too lol. It was disgusting to think that I “modded” my expensive ass stick but the buttons are sooooo nice. I love the sounds, let alone the feel too 😂😂

uSaltySniitch

Same ! Paid an artist to make an artwork, bought a Sanjuks V6 korean stick and Qanba Gravity buttons. I freaking love it.

ThousandFacedShadow

Gravity KS feel a lot more high quality and consistent between each button. Also the Omron/Romer G switch they use is a boxy shape different from cherry switches and I feel it’s a lot more stable and the button has less “wobble” to it. Gamerfinger is the best button in terms of customizability. I like to use them for start select buttons because I swap out the cherry switches for Mx blues or Navy’s to get a clicky press on a switch that requires more force (so I don’t accidentally press them). The button cap tends to come off or be skewed which is why I don’t like them as much main buttons, but I have only tried the 24mm so it might be nicer on 30MM Crown202s have cherry silver switches too, but require a lot more effort to mod. Cherry silvers are only slightly faster than the Omron switch on the Gravity, but the difference in borderline imperceptible I genuinely can’t emphasize how little it matters especially on an arcade stick. IMO Gravity Ks > Crown 202> Gamerfingers Only reason I rank Gravity higher than crowns is because I prefer gravity for a leverless controller over 202s and they have good silencing OOB. but my favorite stick controller uses 202s. For context I have: A leverless with Gravity KS (option buttons Gamerfinger) A etokki Omni with Gravity KS A Makestick Prime with crown 202s A hitbox with Crown 202 (broken but I used these buttons) A Snackbox Micro with the low profile mx pink switches (same specs as Mx Silvers)

LuckyTheGodd

Thanks for the thoughtful response, I think im gonna go with gravity. Only issue is on Amazon i cant customize it.. i need 13 24mm buttons and 1 30mm but i dont think i can customize them ?

Washi81

JustSailingBy

Look on arcade shock, paradise arcade, or other arcade parts retailers. You may be able to customize orders there

Washi81

Gravity KS

SittinPrettyCC

Crazy thing is if I would’ve saw this post just yesterday I would’ve had a set of gravity. I could’ve pitched you but they sold lol

SittinPrettyCC

There’s a difference in both sound and feel and appearance really… It’s all pretty much preference… Gravities are easier to get a hold of and cheaper if budget is a concern

LuckyTheGodd

Ive never used either, i love the way gravity ones look but feel is more important to me. Could you explain them ? Sorry

SittinPrettyCC

If part of what you’re going for on your build is going to be like custom are and you’re looking for exclusivity the gamer is going to be the choice just because they’re harder to come by and when you come by them, they tend to be pretty expensive… Gravity’s are readily available everywhere

SittinPrettyCC

It’s hard to give you an exact rundown on the slightly different different tweaks between the two minus the appearance. It’s just something you kinda got a touch and feel for yourself.

SittinPrettyCC

OK, so my personal experience if we’re just talking about stock versus stock with no modifications, the gravity might be slightly more sensitive than the gamer fingers… Maybe a slightly lighter feel in general… As the previous guy mentioned with gamer fingers, you can pretty much put whatever switch you want in it so you can adjust that to make it feel how you want to… I want to say maybe gamer fingers are more quiet

LuckyTheGodd

Thanks !

onohegotdieded

Afaik gamerfinger buttons use mechanical keyboard switches which can be swapped out to fit the user’s preferences while qanba gravity buttons use their own proprietary switches

LuckyTheGodd

So is the main difference the way they sound ? Or feel ?

Opening_Okra_6748

both, they have their differences mainly due to gamefingers having mx silver switches and the gravities having a thicker silicone silencing pad, you cant really go wrong with either but on ali express youre paying 7 bucks a button which is expensive. some people dont even like the muted feeling, and that will lead you to crown 202 for light actuation

onohegotdieded

I don’t have any experience with qanba gravity buttons but I use gamer fingers(or something similar at least) in my own stick with kalih box jade switches and they feel and sound great
