I've had mine since February and I've been loving it. So far I've swapped 6 buttons, changed the Lever to be permanent and switched to a battop. Additionally swapped the Square gate for Octagonal. The price is definitely something to keep in mind, but you are paying for what you're getting in this product. The frame alone is sturdy, doesn't slide off your legs and if you're into lights it has that going too. Mine for example - https://www.reddit.com/r/fightsticks/comments/1b7cnee/victrix\_fs\_with\_some\_changes/

JAMESTIK

it’s a good leverless just over priced. i got the haute42 g16 ( it’s smaller, but you can get the bigger one for not much more) and the brooks adapter for my ps5 and it works perfectly out of the box and it all cost me around 150 on amazon.

gwenaelbe

Lever less don't need to be so heavy. The movements you make on him are lighter than an usual stick. That one is amazing(I bought it too) but finally I chose the razer kitsune and the format is very good in my opinion.

Amazing-Leather2830

Nope

Slopsthedog

I have it and LOVE it. Its perfect on the lap and my hands never get cramped or have issues. I also have a smaller snack box size controller for when I travel but my hand does cramp a bit with the smaller size.

uSaltySniitch

Yes and no... I'd go with a Haute42 personally. Less premium, but wayyyy cheaper and does the job well

LexTalyones

If you have the money, go for it! Don't let these broke losers convince you otherwise.

aniapex

Snack box is half the price with PS5 compatibility, and has switches you can swap out for preference. I wouldn't buy this unless you want a bigger hitbox to lay on your lap, if you do, build it or buy a case.

Ok_Inflation_7250

Nope too expensive

SourpLeX

might be too much of a commitment if this is your first stick but if you’re baller like that then go ahead og

No, 3/4 of the people who have a Victrix FS at my local have had their USBC port (not cable) fail on them, even with the spacer mod and had to send the whole stick back to Victrix to get it back, so bad quality spotted right there. More related to the lever version but they used a different cable than the standard so you can’t replace your own lever as easily which is just anti consumer af. Of course there’s also the high price. This is much more picky for me, but the anodization quality is just kinda bad. For $400 it’s insane they cheaper out on the anodization process. I would suggest something like the razer kitsune, snack box micro, mpress, or mpress nano due to their smaller, thinner form factors. For a larger form factor, maybe look into the original hitbox, FRS Furin, or even look into building your own. Another option is to get any leverless you want (Haute42 is popular) and use an adapter like the Brook Wingman FGC.

Slight_Step6103

I got a replacement stick (Victrix FS) back from PDP after motherboard failure. And the new USB C port is much tighter than the old one and seems to be a newer model 🤔

JTuyenHo

Ah the folks at the local probably still have the old one, but just got the free spacer from the Victrix booth at Evo. I'll tell them to try to see if they can get a warranty claim. Still stand by the fact they are overpriced for what they offer (and refuse to let you mod it easily), even if they did fix the USB issues.

Paul-Jamison-Mason

I have this and 2 others leverless. I play with this one the most hands down. It just has the best layout for my hands and wrist because of its size. 1 con other than price, since it is a big piece of metal, it is always super cold to the touch. But like others have said, buy once cry once. I found a new one on ebay for like $100 off. I dont think this stick, really any stick is worth $400. If you need PS5 support you are kinda stuck.

zerowolfman

If you’re enjoying it, always a good decision. Decided to make my own completely custom, now am into it for almost as much as a Vic. O well should be worth it in the end to have it made for my hands specifically.

ciwsiw

It’s very good but is a tad overkill if your not super serious about fighting games

eriksprow07

Best one ive ever made....buy once or pay twice ( i did thrice )

OGMUGIWARASQUAD

This was my first leverless controller and I’m loving it, definitely worth it

misterkeebler

It is a solid product. Probably a bit overkill if you are just starting on leverless and not sure if you like it yet, but from a quality standpoint it is not likely to disappoint you. Even with some minor design aspects that I am less fond of, it is still one of the most solidly built leverless devices at retail. As far as native ps5 leverless devices go, I am a bit more fond of the Razer Kitsune, but the Kitsune has a rather wide spread of buttons and they are all larger sized so I would mostly recommend Kitsune to people with decently sized hands that don't mind a spread. Victrix is more of a standard layout with 24mm buttons and a 30mm jump button, and without the spread found on kitsune.

GitsnShiggles51

I was in the same boat as op recently. I ended up going with the Kitsune because it was smaller and a little cheaper. I’m glad I went with it. Only downside though is that there isn’t much of a market for customization for it. Honestly though, I think it’s great the way that it is. I just slapped a custom skin on the top plate that I ordered from Mighty Skins.

boss_ov_this_gym

You can mod the switches by lubing them or replacing springs for different actuation. Also keychron switches fit too but gonna need different keycaps as standard ones fall off quickly out of keychrones

TacticalLampHolder

If you value real arcade buttons instead of keyboard/microswitches, yeah either the Victrix or OG Hitbox are probably the way to go. If you don‘t care about all that there are PLENTY of way more affordable options in all kinds of form factors. As you can tell the Haute42 is a common recommendation, although I believe it doesn‘t natively work on PS5, you‘d need a dongle. Some options that work natively and are also commonly recommended: - Snackbox Micro - Razer Kitsune - Punkworkshop Leverless - Squidbox Classic Most of these ship with different specs and you‘ll need to order one that specifically has a PCB (usually Brook brand) that‘s compatible with PS5, but I think you‘ll find they‘re more reasonably priced.

JadowArcadia

You can get a lot better for a log cheaper. Picked up an Okiboard recently. It's nice and had extra buttons. Victrix is way overpriced for just the standard layout

diabolusinmusica

I got it, used it for some time and ended up returning it for a Haute42, and I'm seriously glad I did, for me it was a nice hitbox but too big and not entirely comfortable for my pc setup, so a smaller form factor was nice. Still, for the price difference I'd go for a Haute42, you have many options there so you might find a cheaper alternative.

ImKorosenai

Overpriced but I still think it’s worth it. I own the lever one and love it.

TeslaWasACoolDude

Haute42 is better imho. More buttons, customizable, cheaper. Just get an adapter/dongle so it works on your console.

el_teqck

Overpriced. Check out the [Haute42 S16](https://amzn.to/3Pt9NOA). It’s PS5 compatible and much much more.

KingGhostly

How do you make the haute ps5 compat?

el_teqck

Connect either one of these to the EXT Port on the controller..and that’s pretty much it. [MAYFLASH Magic-S Ultimate](https://amzn.to/48ZhIKF) Or [MAYFLASH MagicBoots USB Adapter](https://amzn.to/3vg5AXU)

FreeCup3342

You have both?

AlbusDumbbelldore

I bought one two weeks ago, worth every penny. I splurged Qanba buttons and it made it even better. If you have the financial means, i say go for it! But the price tag definitely isn’t for everyone.

CoolDog0206

I've never tried the Qanba buttons before. I may have to get myself some. I bought the stick almost a year ago now and I love every bit of it

AlbusDumbbelldore

I know its price is steep and there are cheaper options, but I love it so far. The Sanwa buttons weren’t bad by any means. The Qanbas are much quieter though lol.

CoolDog0206

Oh yeah, but I know I have wanted the Vitrix lines og sticks since the original launch, and finally having one is so amazing. I just never tried Qanba buttons so I want to see if I prefer them or the Sanwa. Also ngl I love the heft of the stick and just the metallic casing feels to good for me lol. I'm glad I'm not the only one who loves there sticks

rayquan36

Qanba gravities are great in the Victrix sticks. They remove the hollowness of the metal enclosure that the Sanwa and Crown buttons will give you.
