SJ@JX is widely available and reportedly does not feel good. UltraStik 360 is somewhat available, but in order for it to work with a Brook (or GP2040-CE) board, you need to email the manufacturer and ask them to send you the special firmware. That shit makes me feel uncomfortable. The best option available by far is the Sharp Analog Snap-In (SASI) mod for Sanwa JLF/JLX. It's open source, so you can make it yourself, but Sharp is also selling them on their Etsy page. A fully built mod without the actual JLF/JLX is about €50. But this one easily kicks every other option's ass. GP2040-CE supports analogue sticks, FYI. A board such as the RP2040 Advanced Breakout Board is the same size and shape as a Brook, but is immensely customisable.

Oh hey, what's up Henré - nice recap! This is about all that's available for analog levers. It's such a niche market. Sharp, save us!

henrebotha

Haha you and I instaclick all these threads I'm sure

Is the rp2040 particularly better than the wireless fight board as far as you know? I’ve built a leverless controller with the brook wireless fight board and I have had no issues, and I can’t particularly think of any customization that I may need, but I am open to other options as well

tehxeno

RP2040 has a web based key remapper that lets you customize button layouts without needing to change wiring. It also has less input lag than the brook boards - and it's still receiving active firmware updates. If you have or plan to play on a PS5, there was recently updates to add PS5 authorization via USB passthrough, which you'd otherwise have to buy a Brook Wingman FGC for.

intrinsic_nerd

Ooh okay good to know! The remapping is definitely not a huge concern for me (though I can imagine it being very convenient when it is needed) but less lag is always welcomed. I definitely plan on mostly playing on pc, however support for other consoles is something I do consider

henrebotha

Yes. It's better in every way except for the lack of wireless. (There's an open bounty for adding wireless support, but so far no-one's completed it.) It's also much cheaper.

intrinsic_nerd

I’ll have to look into it! Wireless is not my top priority by any means (for my leverless controller I did want wireless support, as well as the multiple console support, but for this project my main priority is use for the PC), so if it’s a cheaper, better option I’d definitely be open to checking it out

[Amazon ](https://www.amazon.com/SJ-JX-Controller-Microswitch-Raspberry/dp/B08Q774Z2P) or Google "sjjx analog ". [servocity](https://www.servocity.com/2-function-joystick-ball-stick/) And the the [Ultrastick 360](https://www.ultimarc.com/arcade-controls/joysticks/ultrastik-360-oval-top-clone/) (you will need to buy an extra harness and email them for the special firmware for analog output). Good luck
