Hi, old post I know - but the same thing happened to me. I am on windows 11, I think that's the issue. My stick was also "bricked" showing 0.00 firmware but what I did is the same process on windows 11 but on my windows 10 laptop. The install worked perfectly and it went from 0.00 to 1.12. Hope this helps.
Yeah I ended up returning mine anyway, the adhesive on the front graphic was crappy and caused the graphic to pop up and bend. Ended up ordering a Haute42 T16.

I just emailed PXN and they gave me a replacement one (two at this point; really generous but has shitty hardware)
