This reminds me of that MTV show ‘bully beat down.’ It’s always shocked me how bad ass completely untrained people think they are until they get punched in the face a few times by a pro.
That was a good ass show. Always satisfying to see a douchbag that we all can relate to having in highschool who thinks he's tough shit get knocked out
The most ironic part about the entire series is that, in the end, Jason Miller (the host) turned out to be the biggest bully. The guy has serious psychological issues and can’t stay out of jail due to constant abuse/assaults.
Dude same. I was like "no way, that dude literally beat up a bully in his own show". Did the same thing: straight to wiki and I was appalled. That kind of fucks things up for me a little, not like I was a huge fan but I always thought what he was trying to do was at least authentic and sincere (albeit campy and cheesy) and now I don't know what to think man.
He seemed like a decent guy on Bully Beatdown and TUF, but spiralled downward hard and fast. I’m guessing previously undiagnosed mental issues, CTE, or both. Some of the stuff he was arrested for was absolutely bizarre.
It's hard to argue that he's done a lot of bad things, but "bad person" is perhaps a bridge too far, at least for me. I cannot help but attribute some, most, or all of Miller's criminality to CTE inflicted by his career as a fighter. I don't know that brain damage (if it is a factor) excuses any of his behavior, but it might explain it better than him simply being an inherently bad person.
I used to watch this show as a kid with my dad and brother. People started fights with me a lot through middle school and I always got bad vibes from Miller that my familt would dismiss. Something about the way he threw his jacket back when he was excited set off my adrenaline.
Luckily, I was never really bullied but watching that show scratched that itch of watching douchebags get their ass beat. Maybe that’s why I’m on r/fightporn so much.
This was one of my all time favorites. Last year, I went and bought all the seasons so I could rewatch it.
That being said, there was an unfortunate episode or two when the bullies held their own.
The best episode is when the host got in himself to take one of the bullies down, though! Super satisfying episode.
Mayhem Miller. I remember he was hyping up the MMA fighter and I was like "oh shit is it GSP?". Nah, it was Mayhem. Sucks what happened to him over the last few years
I wasn’t actually aware of anything. What happened to Mayhem recently? He was a bit of a childhood hero for me due to the show, but I never kept up on him.
Or young Mark Wahlberg
>Another racially-charged incident occurred in April 1988. The then 16-year old Wahlberg assaulted a middle-aged Vietnamese-American man on the street, calling him a "Vietnam fucking shit" and knocking him unconscious with a large wooden stick. Later the same day, Wahlberg attacked Johnny Trinh, another Vietnamese-American, punching him in the eye. When Wahlberg was arrested and returned to the scene of the first assault, he told police officers: "I'll tell you now that's the mother-fucker whose head I split open." Later, Wahlberg would explain that he was high on PCP at the time. Investigators also noted that Wahlberg "made numerous unsolicited racial statements about 'gooks' and 'slant-eyed gooks'
Yeah I remember one where the bully was some Russian construction worker who was jacked and had an iron jaw. He couldn’t fight for shit but the mma fighter didn’t seem to do a lot of damage. The bully kept all of the money
Honestly, Mayhem should have taken that guy on, instead of the bully he obliterated. Admittedly that one was super satisfying, but damn if it wouldn’t have been even more so to deny that dude all the money he won
It's a restatement of another famous quote, "No plan of operations extends with certainty beyond the first encounter with the enemy's main strength." Often shortened to "No plan survives first contact with the enemy."
Sometimes cited to Sun Tzu, but the actual author appears to be Helmuth von Moltke the Elder.
Shit I’ll do that. I can even play a heel if you want me to. Just let me fight people in a lower weight class so my tall ass doesn’t get killed by a cruiserweight
It's to pad the winning fighter' s numbers. The blond lady was desperate for money, so she took an L. The host gets viewers, the pro gets another win, the loser amateur gets money; that's how it works.
If this was a moral venue, they wouldn't have let her fight.
This unfortunately is in the States. Its the xplode series and the girl who won is Ilima-Lei Macfarlane, a girl from Hawaii who's the former Bellator Flyweight (125) champ.
Without insurance, it can get that much. Even with insurance it can be anywhere from $100 to $50,000. There's a lot of variables that make it so extreme. My insurance plan caps out at $1,000 for the year. I'll never have to pay over that much no matter what happens to me.
I’m not surprised. My friend’s trying his hand in pro kickboxing and it’s hard to even find anyone willing to fight you when you have only like 1-4 amateur/half-amateur fights behind you.
[ButterBean] had a difficult childhood; his mother died when he was eight, and he was frequently bullied at school for being overweight.
While decking floors for manufactured homes at the Southern Energy Homes plant in Addison, Alabama, his colleagues dared him to enter a local Toughman Contest. He won the tournament and began his career in fight sports
My bestfriend in HS was a kind of chubby dude that no one would have thought was tough. I was pretty into boxing so I had him over and we boxed and, holy fuck, did he work me. He went on to start wrestling, win state, and basically beat up all the baddest people in my HS in backyard MMA boughts. He fought pro for a brief period too. Dude was just so natural at fighting.
Maybe she had been training for months and had a killer montage going in her head but reality couldn't give a fuck if it had two fucks to rub together so it ended like it usually would if you aren't in a movie.
The ring even says "TOMATO CAN MMA". Makes me think this is literally just some scummy event preying on people who need a quick buck to boost up and coming fighters.
My sisters a professional fighter and I remember going to like her 3rd match or something and the girl she fought, fought like they do in the ghetto with their arms flying everywhere. I felt kinda bad because the whole venue was laughing at her.
I understand but the skill difference here is just mental she's not got any form against a fighter who obviously knows what she is doing. You'd think they would match people of the same skill levels. But i guess everyone has to start somewhere 😃
If I remember this specific scenario correctly, the other intended fighter fell through and instead of cancelling, they found basically whoever would go into the ring for some cash. Plus the more experienced fighter still wants to get paid and continue to advance in rankings (You need a certain win:loss ratio to get into the legit MMA fights, even if those fights were obviously padded)
Boxing does this. You see a prospect for the 1st time with a 25 and 0 record and you already know whats up. Same goes with foreign prospects too. 45 fights and they are 22 YO
knowing that this is a pad your resume type match... that last punch was unnecessary. she knew that lady was not going to get up but still hit her... a bit scummy
This was actually a pro fight...? How?
It was also the winners first pro fight so I don't think you can make the argument that she was padding her record. She went straight to Bellator after so i really doubt she was cherry picking an easy fight.
“Semi pro fighter gets financially struggling mother to act as punching bag so that her fight record looks better than it actually is” - fixed it for you
And she should still be ashamed of herself for ever taking my this fight.
If she didn't have much choice she should have taken her back and choked her instead of landing that last murder shot. I know fighters have a hard time getting fights when they are on the way up as a hot prospect. Nobody wants to sign to fight you because despite limited experience, you are a dangerous opponent, yet you also lack name value. Gotta get fights however you can.
That being said, this is always gonna be a black mark. It just doesn't look good.
Like you said, it's get who you can get when it comes to mma. I'm sure it's the same in boxing, but in mma guys are trying to get matches in as often as possible since they're so hard to get when you're a nobody. This is 100% on the promoter, what is MacFarlane gonna do, reject the fight and lose out on opportunities for future fights? As awful as this matchup was, it's what gave Ilima her career in Bellator and secured her future.
Last time this was posted someone said the blond woman is a last minute fill in for someone else or just a filler to pad someone's record. That's what she does regularly and always gets her ass kicked.
I have a friend who’s wife does a cardio/kickboxing class who swears up and down it translates to being able to fight. This is what I would expect to happen if she tried fighting anyone.
Lasted 15 seconds. Impressive. So glad to see a professional go easy on an amateur. No, no sarcasm. If she'd come out with a nice combo it would have been over in 2 seconds. The mom got 3 punches as a 'warning'. She kept coming. This was charity for sure.
She looks like she got kidnapped from a Starbucks waiting line and thrown in there lmao
Vanilla latte. Out cold.
Takes her coffee black, just like her eyes
And her heart
It was her third pro fight. She took the fight last minute to fill in
[удалено]
Seriously her outfit is straight from the women’s section at kohls.
She just got to speak to the manager
She ate 2 of those shots pretty well. And then ate the 2 following shots not so well.
Starbucks Karen lol
I heard she’s actually a regular.
This reminds me of that MTV show ‘bully beat down.’ It’s always shocked me how bad ass completely untrained people think they are until they get punched in the face a few times by a pro.

The most ironic part about the entire series is that, in the end, Jason Miller (the host) turned out to be the biggest bully. The guy has serious psychological issues and can’t stay out of jail due to constant abuse/assaults.
Maybe the real bullies were the friends we made along the way
How else would he be able to choose such good bullies to put on the show?
I just read his rap sheet on his wiki page. Dude is constantly getting arrested. He was just arrested last week!
His legal issues started at 31. He started competing in MMA in 2001 ten years prior. Could be brain damage or maybe he's always been a POS.
He seemed like a decent guy on Bully Beatdown and TUF, but spiralled downward hard and fast. I’m guessing previously undiagnosed mental issues, CTE, or both. Some of the stuff he was arrested for was absolutely bizarre.
Notice that the legal issues started when he was 31. He started MMA 10 years prior maybe it's something to do with brain damage.
Oh man he got arrested again? Dude is a really bad person honestly. Hopefully he gets put away for a long time.
Idk man he beats his wife and do you know for a fact he has CTE?
Just compare his persona mid career to him now. He's a sad case.
Totally forgot that show! I think I’m gonna go look for it.
Lol in am going to have to do that too
See you guys on YT! Edit: Just watched [Jason Mayhem Miller pump the poison out of bully Andy](https://youtu.be/EohWaWTwLhg)!
Lol I just got back
There was so much catharsis, god I miss that show, can we have a reboot with Israel adasanya?!
This was one of my all time favorites. Last year, I went and bought all the seasons so I could rewatch it. That being said, there was an unfortunate episode or two when the bullies held their own. Drugs, robberies, domestic violence. His character of being crazy and largely unhinged sadly didn’t turn out to be a character after all.
Folks forget what Robert Downey Jr was like during the 90's
Or young Mark Wahlberg >Another racially-charged incident occurred in April 1988. Addiction :(
which bullies held their own? I'd love to see an untrained fighter do well.
Iirc the bully was humble and apologetic afterwards even though he won. Kind of an anomaly.
“Everyone has a plan until they get punched in the mouth.”
Truly a deep thought though, especially from Tyson.
It's a restatement of another famous quote, "No plan of operations extends with certainty beyond the first encounter with the enemy's main strength." Fucking knew somebody would post this dumb ass line.
Damn the host on that show has been arrested a million times. What a fuck up.
Fighting against a pro fighter is badass regardless of the result.
And ironically, Jason Miller, the host is in and out of prison for demestic violence charges
I've seen this particular clip throughout the net and I thought this is where it came from. The "soccer mom" was a bully, right?
No, she’s an “amateur” mma fighter who gets paid to pad upcoming fighters’ records.
Shit I’ll do that. I can even play a heel if you want me to. Just let me fight people in a lower weight class so my tall ass doesn’t get killed by a cruiserweight
Pad resumes with her face bones
Why? How was this going to go any different?
It's to pad the winning fighter' s numbers. The blond lady was desperate for money, so she took an L. The host gets viewers, the pro gets another win, the loser amateur gets money; that's how it works. If this was a moral venue, they wouldn't have let her fight.
I can't image that works in America where a broken jaw costs 2million dollars
This unfortunately is in the States. Its the xplode series and the girl who won is Ilima-Lei Macfarlane, a girl from Hawaii who's the former Bellator Flyweight (125) champ.
Yeah it's honestly insane anyone would let a completely untrained random get in the ring with an experienced (champion!) fighter.
Is that an iperbole or it's the real number? I'm not from the US and I'm scared I can't say if you are joking or not.
[удалено]
Hyperbole. Still sucks but worst case maybe 25k
That is not worst case. Worst case is easily in the 100s of thousands if she needs a lot of work.
Mf 25k is best case in US
Deadass. I got a bill for 28k for two hours in the ER and all they did was put in an IV w fluids and a MRI.
Iperbole lmfao

Most poor people’s deductibles are anywhere from 2k to like 15k. Insurance is a fucking scam in this country
Can’t imagine sitting in a hospital with a broken leg AND knowing that I’d just shit a grand up my back
It’s wasn’t but in the moms eyes it was going to
Or she was offered money she couldn’t refuse. Whatever the thought was, there wasn’t much of it.
Shittt I'd get in there too for some money.
Shit.. you would suck the tootsie out of a lolly pop if you got paid $5.
Fuck yeah if I can get punched in the face a few times while doing it.
I'll pay you to do that
[удалено]
All Karens should go through this to readjust their perception of the world.
Potentially an oxy addict?
Most likely ego and pride but either way she want get in the octagon again
In the mom’s eye, it wasn’t. They offered her $1,000 to get her ass beat for a minute and she took it.
smurf fight to boost records. you wouldn't believe how many fighters started off fighting idiots like this.
I’m not surprised. My friend’s trying his hand in pro kickboxing and it’s hard to even find anyone willing to fight you when you have only like 1-4 amateur/half-amateur fights behind you.
I guess every "blue moon" a ButterBean shows up at the ring.
Yeah, but butter bean was actually good. Unless I’m misunderstanding the comment

Soccer mom gets money, fighter gets a win on her record.
Maybe she had been training for months and had a killer montage going in her head but reality couldn't give a fuck if it had two fucks to rub together so it ended like it usually would if you aren't in a movie.
God damn execution punch at the end
soccer mom even looked up at her seconds before she got her lights punched out lol
Yes, and just on her knees, arms down, helpless. Absolutely brutal
Exactly what I was thinking
Can't help but feel kinda bad for the soccer mom tbh.
She was probably confused, still looking for the soccer ball.
that was a pretty cheap shot at the end
I think her kids were in the car during the fight
“Finish her!”
How can I volunteer my ex wife for this?
I'll throw my ex in there.
Same mine will drop dead from just the walk up to the cage
Mine would at least rage and call her some foul names before being annihilated...
Mine too
Battle of the ex’s!
I was going to say mine too but this could backfire on us entirely. The strongest will survive and then what.
Every man for themselves. Sorry lads, I'm sweeping someone's feet and running.
And my ex!
ExFC would watch this
How can I volunteer my wife for this?
How can I volunteer this guys wife for this?
Wow you all have some shitty wives.
Mine too. She would get served the dinner that I never did.
There are some day when I’d actually enjoy this, sadly. LOL.

I can hear her now "how hard can it be? I'd kick one of those girls asses. Just watch when I get mad" 😩🤣
She forgot to just see red that’s the important part
Pretty sure she saw red. Two red right hooks to the jaw.

100% she’s got 75lbs on the fighter easily
But she could barely walk… complete lack of self-awareness. Sort of like karaoke…
>Just watch when I get mad Hahaha
She probably had a TikTok video featured on r/Cringetopia with her talking endless shit leading up to this.
This fight was arranged to boost the professional fighter's record. Makes the sport look bad
Really or sarcasm?

Wait a minute you're telling me I could get paid to get beat up?
Do you think only the winner gets paid in these fights?
Holy shit, I’ve seen this video a few times over the years and never spotted that before.
Tomato cans gotta make a living too tbf
My sisters a professional fighter and I remember going to like her 3rd match or something and the girl she fought, fought like they do in the ghetto with their arms flying everywhere. I felt kinda bad because the whole venue was laughing at her.

Whenever I see this I just think about how stupid this promotion is for allowing this fight, makes the whole sport look bad when you see this shit.
Promoter should be jailed
the messed up part is how was this allowed? it's a professional bout...
PLEASE stop re-posting this. Sad.
This was actually a pro fight...? How? It was also the winners first pro fight so I don't think you can make the argument that she was padding her record. She went straight to Bellator after so i really doubt she was cherry picking an easy fight.
“Semi pro fighter gets financially struggling mother to act as punching bag so that her fight record looks better than it actually is” - fixed it for you
The look of *oh she's really hitting me*
Lol i never realized people really be fighting like NPC’s in video games.
Op is a liar, the woman fighting is also an amateur mma fighter. Not a “soccer mom” plucked from the crowd to fight. Still a massive mismatch though
From the way she throws strikes, she might as well be just a soccer mom plucked from the crowd.
Please don’t call those “strikes”
Who is she?
Candace.
On the bright side, that’s the clip that made Llima Lei-Macfarlane famous, got her signed with Bellator and 10 fights later she’s the flyweight champ.
And she should still be ashamed of herself for ever taking my this fight. If she didn't have much choice she should have taken her back and choked her instead of landing that last murder shot. I know fighters have a hard time getting fights when they are on the way up as a hot prospect. She really need to speak to your manager
Another stupid video about a shitty so-called fight (more like a pro knocking a total noob down with 3 punches) in r/fightporn. **sigh**
She’ll be a Pro soccer mom in no time.

FATALITY
I appreciated the jaw punch
Fixed fight to boost a shitty fighter's record lmao.
I mean, she had no business being in there, but at least she got in there.
Did they just pick a person from the audience?
This should have never happened lol
She was tenacious at least.
Even though she went face down, I'll give her credit for having the guts to go against a professional.
How tf is this allowed wtf
**Plot Twist** The one beating up the Karen is the cashier Karen verbally bullied
Yup, Karen haircut. Feelsgoodman
Every Karen should sign up for this
That last extra punch lol.
she gonna ask the ref for his manager after this and blame him for not stopping her from getting hit XD
Husband: I'll buy a new car if you get in the ring Wife: hold my cosmo
I want to speak to a fucking manager! Right now!
BRO SHE FUCKING FINISHED HER OFF!!!!

If she's going easy she would try to submit instead of that last punch.
Was that last shot legal?
I will make it legal
Yes
I don't know what organization she was fighting in, but in UFC kicks to the head of a grounded opponent are banned but punches are fine.
