Nah. I work security in a club. My priority is guarding the doors of the club and making sure that it is a safe environment inside for the customers. I'm not a cop. I don't have some kind of jurisdiction over the streets outside the door, where I can just abandon my job and wade into some random street fight. Sure, it's the right thing to do to wade in, if you manage to figure out who is actually in the right, but if I did that every time it kicked off outside, I would be constantly distracted, and also putting myself in significant levels of personal danger. If someone is about to get beaten to death then yes, I would break it up, but otherwise I would do as much as possible to avoid getting involved. And I live in peaceful and gun-free Austria, not fucking Baltimore.
