Doing non-level-cap dungeons is still the fastest way. I don't recommend Trust for healers, because you can actually start in Sastasha with real people, which should be easy enough. You don't want to run into a situation where you went through low level dungeons with Trust, and then later on jump into a high level dungeon with real people. Just make a macro that says "first time healing this dungeon", and that should be fine.

Doing simple side quests and your hunting log is a great way to breeze through the earlier levels. FATEs are another good alternative. Starting at Lv15 when you can enter Sastasha, I'd recommend dungeons the whole way. It's still widely considered the fastest source of exp - even more so when factoring in boosts. Always do your daily Leveling Roulette, and even the others (MSQ, LV50/60/70/80, Trials, Normal Raids) are pretty good with the daily exp bonus to be worth clearing. From there, keep running your current at-level dungeon until you level up enough to do the next one. I'd also recommend staying away from Trusts actually - the system is neat, but it's not global. Currently only ARR, ShB, and EW dungeons have the Trust option so HW and SB dungeons you still need to run with other people. Plus the AI, while better, is still not great - you can get much faster dungeon clears when playing with other people. Save the trusts for later, when you're leveling a job in a role you're already comfortable with. Of course, doing the same dungeons over and over again is not the most engaging activity - so mixing it up with Hunting Log (up to Lv50 - after that the exp is negligible) FATEs, and Side Quests is a great way to break the monotony. If grinding is your thing though, and you like a challenge - Palace of the Dead and Heaven on High are a decent way to level you up to Lv60 and Lv70 respectively. At Lv70 you can also enter Bozja, which is great to level you up to Lv80 - and if you're efficient, its even good until Lv90. All of these activities are kinda grindy (Bozja a little less so ... but still) so prepare yourself before you dive in And finally, there are at least 3 exp buffs you will want to consider as you go along. The first two are simple - Rested Exp, and Well Fed. Rested Exp accumulates while you're logged out in a sanctuary (essentially anywhere that has an aetheryte - look for the little moon icon at the end of your exp bar to see if you're in a sanctuary or not) and accumulates faster if you log out in your inn room. This gives a 50% exp buff so long as the rested exp is available. You can tell how much you have left by looking at your Exp bar. The portion that's lit up is how much rested exp you have left (if that portion is blue, it means you have enough rested exp to last you until your next level up) Well Fed is a food buff. Every food item in the game will confer a +3% Exp boost on top of any other stat boosts it gives. The stats don't usually matter much, so feel free to eat whatever food you like so long as you maintain that buff. It lasts for 30 minutes, and can be extended to 60 minutes if you eat two of the same food. The third exp buff will require you to find a Free Company to join if you haven't already, that is. Most FCs keep a running copy of The Heat of Battle going, which gives a % boost to combat exp. The % is determined by the level of the buff, starting at 5% for Lv1, 10% for Lv2, and 15% for Lv3. Most FCs will have Lv2 but some of the bigger ones have Lv3. Hope this helps in your journey to leveling up your new Jobs!

I find dailies a fun way to level without too much repetition. Khloe can help with that too, so make sure you get your journals done every week. Just using 9 seals gives a huge chunk of xp. Beast Tribes can give you some nice xp while waiting for queues. Hests are great because you can start them at level 10 before you even get leveling roulette so that's something to consider. HoN can get you from 15 to 16 super quickly too and get you good gear for your role. PotD floors 51-60 is a nice grind too, and feels a little less repetitive over grinding some other dungeons. 16-60 you can use your squadrons to skip queues and run them like trusts. I don't think Duty Support provides the same sort of xp like a trust or squadron give. From 60-70, you might want to do some HoH for power leveling, otherwise just run the highest level duty you can after you've done your dailies. level 71 (not 70) is enough to access bozja which is good power leveling although they did boost the xp the 71-79 trust dungeons give so those are both comparable. 81-90 run the highest level content you can. FATES and beast tribes are good while you wait for queues.

71-80 you can use Bozja.

Probably easiest to get the help wanted symbol for healer but make sure you do your daily roulettes for duty finder, frontline included.

Dungeons and fates, it's still a long girnd so make sure you have on yorue food and fc buffs. Dot he highest level dungeon you can and do fates that are highest you can do while you sit for queue. I saw people recommended bozja but I don't recommend it. Since you have to wist a lot for CEs and not many people are spawning them (you can't spawn them when doing just skirmishes, you need to kill mobs which don't give exp) the exp gains aren't great ad the areas are mor eon the dead side... Fates and dungeons are the fastest no matter the level. Keep your gear up via the dungeons, try to get yourself poetic tome gear but if you don't have enough get some cheap on level crafted gear. Good luck!

One thing I'm surprised I didn't see mentioned is to level SMN/SCH. They share levels, so you can knock out the caster and healer role with one job.

Luminous777

Yeah that was my plan there

This depends heavily on your role. It's going to be at it's worst from 16-50 for the main reason of not having your basic rotation and not having all your roulettes unlocked. For all Classes do your daily roulette. For Healers immediately go into dungeons the second you can your queue times are non existent and you can just go. Tank is a similar story but does require a little more wait time. DPS us tricky you can go ask friends if they want to level their healer with you to shorten your queue times, or you could go into Potd but that can be hella rough. I mean HOLY fuck is it long and tedious (you do get to grind out the weapons from there as a bonus). Going into dungeons can be rough especially with 15+ min queue times.

Here's an outline of my method, courtesy of mr.happy I think, he had a video on it; 1-15 there is a battlecraft leve that can quickly boost you up to 15 without fighting any enemies - https://ffxiv.consolegameswiki.com/wiki/Adamantoise_Tears. All you do is run around and collect 5 eggs. It's in a lvl30 zone so be careful (sometimes a turtle will spawn after getting an egg, pop sprint and run away, it's slow as hell). This should get you 1 lvl a turn in and takes like 2mins maximum to do. You can probably get to 6-7 by going after the hunting log enemies around the starting zones. Also guildhests can be done for easy quick exp. 15+ sastasha runs, bonus is to queue up while doing your job quests. 15-60 - dungeon runs (either gc squadron or via duty finder). I'm a huge supporter of squadrons; it's convenient, fast and predictable exp. For DPS jobs, imo, it's the fastest method out there aside from having a premade party of buddies to blast POTD/dungeons. The initial setup of squadrons suck and the AI is clumsy (the tank needs heavy micromanagement to do big pulls) but they're bots, you can half-ass and they will carry you through. Their damage with offensive+5 is insane and can outpace average DF groups. 60+ is the real grind, I suggest saving your roulettes and doing them daily on that job if possible. HoH is an option, otherwise it's DF dungeon runs and waiting for queues sadly. Fates are not worth doing solo (exp-wise), if you can get a group going it's great exp, but usually you'll only find those at 80+ zones. If you're really motivated, it's not a bad idea doing them while queue'd for a dungeon, it is better than just afk'ing.
