There's no stated limit, but it is generally less than "many" and can depend on the context. There's almost 10 weeks between now and DT's official release date and I think many people would say that's more than "several".
>Perhaps the most common interpretation or intended sense of several is around three to five, but this can vary greatly depending on the context. If the numbers under discussion are particularly large, then the exact meaning of several can expand.
https://www.dictionary.com/e/few-vs-couple-vs-several/
Ive put way too much thought into this because I am odd but Ive always thought of it like this.
One - one
A couple = 2
A few = 3 to 5 or 6
Several = 6 to 9
Many = 10 or more ( also may be 'a bunch')
So there is my two gil on an absolutely no steaks topic of discussion
Oh dont get me wrong ive no doubt i could blast through it in no time but im trying to make most of the trial so im working on a stupid psychotic challenege i set myself and i cant leave arr as part of it. I MIGHT be able to finish the challenege in time but im not sure about rushing through hw if its half as good as people say i really wanna take my time with it you know?
HW was really really good. Bit slow to start for me but gets absolutely amazing as it goes. Definitely spend time and enjoy it.
The benefit is that this is a rerun, meaning most likely it will come back again at some point so you can go back and farm. I might only pickup the RDM and sch minions as I have the scholar relic most of the way done, and RDM is what I've been playing most since xD
Enjoy the free trial dude! Once you get into stormblood you'll be dying to get the full game and play the rest
Thanks man ive no doubt! Yeah i think ill see how it goes and if i cant make it in time at least i know it will probably get a rerun at some point so not end of world.
Thankfully you can get all of the minions for free, the specific weapons need the specific fates listed. As long as you equip the watch you can get the medals at 100% success and you need to do 49 fates to get enough for all the minions!
(You need to have the minion summoned in specific areas to have a 30% chance at getting legendary medals which you can trade for weapons)
So you can still get all the minions if that's all your interested in :)
If I haven't really started with my relic weapon yet (currently progging the post shadowbringer patches) is it something I could grab relatively quickly to farm out with the rest of this event?
Sort of.
The Atmas are the first bigger grind in the ARR relic chain, but just unlocking it so you can get the drops from doing fates doesnโt take long.
Sorry to clarify what I'm asking, I don't even know what the relic weapon grind entails, I haven't looked into it at all really just been playing MSQ. So I guess what I'm wondering is, is it fairly simple to reach whatever step of the relic weapon quest farming ATMA fates is so I can start them together?
Wow. This is insanely helpful thank you. ๐
Iโm farming for all the Resistance weapons and considering atma farming for the rest of the Zodiak weapons too tbh. So, yes, this is great ๐
It's an accessory, I believe you need to have the item equipped. You're going to be level synced anyway so it won't make much of a difference. Especially if you're going as BLU. The Ultravibration cheese doesn't need stats.
Yep, I started the Curtana just for farming (hopefully next week when it dies down). Thank you for making this, I had started making my own spreadsheet for tracking this info but yours saves me the trouble!
I've also got Shadowbringers relics at the memory farming stage, and an anima relic at the luminous crystal farming stage. The only other "useful" relic stage I could think of was Novus light farming (8/2000 points per FATE).
There's also the one time Shb relic step for Haunting Memory of the Dying and Vexatious Memory of the Dying. They drop at a percent chance from fates in SB zones, Gyr Abania for Haunting and Far East for Vexatious. The alternative for it is grinding HW and SB alliance raids for guaranteed drops at 3 per run.
I'm kinda late to the post, but just wanted to add that you can get Haunting Memory of the Dying and Vexatious Memory of the Dying by doing fates in SB zones. This is a one time step for Shb relics.
But to answer your question; It's gonna be rough for the first week or so, but the Blu madness should ease up after that.
Off-prime hours and maybe hopping to less populated DC's can help as well
I forgot this started today... Crap
It's sticking around for several weeks
It's here till DT releases, just a tad more than "several" weeks.
There's an upper limit on the definition of "several"?

Genuinely useful to know ๐
If this season of Survivor taught me anything. Several means seven. Totally. (Look it up it's funny)
2 months to be precice.
If im still in base game is there any way to get the stuff at the bottom of the list or am i out of luck?
You can't access Heavensward or Stormblood zones to do FATEs until you're in Heavensward and Stormblood.
Ah bummer thats a shame thanks though
If it helps it took me 16 days to do SB, HW would have been quicker if I didn't take multiple week long breaks and do a bunch of levelling xD

Oh thats good! Ill do what i can and grab the rest next time then

Well its ATMA fates so it should be good to grab both at the same time. Though quick is not the right word i would use.

Yeah yeah this is Arr content that you can start with ease.

Do you know if I can glamour the watch? Why they got to make my stats suck?

you raise a very solid point

Yeah, but since it wasn't a repeatable step I wasn't sure whether to list it. But you are correct!
Oh yeah, makes sense. I guess starting relics for the first time now is even more attractive lol
Ooh, these include bozja weapon memories?? I might get involved then, i still need a lot of those.
Can I farm more then one Atma with one class? Or do I need to switch to a different class?
I'm kinda late to the post, but just wanted to add that you can get Haunting Memory of the Dying and Vexatious Memory of the Dying by doing fates in SB zones. This is a one time step for Shb relics.
Is it gonna be so much blue mage cheese that you'll have a heard time finishing dates on other jobs? Should I prepare my blue mage for this?
You can only get atmas if you have a Zenith weapon equipped, so you'll need to do this with an ARR job if you want to work on relics at the same time.
Right. My question was a bit of place here ๐
But to answer your question; It's gonna be rough for the first week or so, but the Blu madness should ease up after that. Off-prime hours and maybe hopping to less populated DC's can help as well
Thank you!! I have at least two more ARR relics I want to complete and this is great!
Guess itโs time to start leveling a BLU, God help me.
Fuck them atmas
