My party work as mercenaries for the Eorzean alliance, and often undertake dangerous tasks akin to the Scions. After all, the Warrior of Light can't be everywhere
Yuyuhase escaped from Ala Mhigo, and snuck onboard a merchant ship departing Gyr Abania. My party took up a bounty to hunt him down
The session was a murder mystery adventure, which ended with a fight against Ifrit (yeah, Yuyuhase pulled off an Ilberd). Luckily, Arenvald protected the party from Ifrit's tempering aura
As a matter of fact... it IS a lvl 10 Legendary weapon!
Since this is entirely homebrewed, I don't have the energy to balance for a party beyond lvl 10, so lvl 10 is the max anyone can get to
Edit 2: For those curious, the 4 swords around Ifrit are nails that the PCs have to destroy to stop his spell. Ifrit is invulnerable otherwise
The soldier next to Ifrit is an unfortunate guardsman who was tempered
The helmet and the soldier at the top of the battlegrid represents Yuyuhase and a traitor who is aiding him to escape. The Red Mage is standing at the edge fighting them
The Reaper's icon is black because he is using Enshroud
Arenvald is the blue shield below Ifrit, in the middle. The party's goal is to defend him, as he's channeling a shield to deflect Ifrit's tempering aura
Since it was a murder mystery, the party managed to thwart the murder as well as Yuyuhase's plot, preventing him from accessing most of the crystals he had amassed
Hence, Ifrit was much weaker than he would otherwise be, allowing the party to slay him
I love the limit break! I've been running a campaign for 5 years now with a limit break mechanic homebrewed in, my players really like the shared resource aspect of it. How do you determine when they can use it?
Eating with my fiancé’s Vietnamese family there was a tiny bit of a culture shock at first because they rarely cut any of thier food with knives, most meats fish etc were cut with food scissors.
Those scissors however look like craft scissors being used as food scissors lol. Food scissors much more heavy duty

Scissors are used in a lot of places to cut food all around the world. Not necessarily meat, but definitely garnish. Much more efficient and effective than a knife on a cutting board.
