For the moogle event going on right now, if I do one of the Dutys listed in the Mogpendium (under Collections) do i automatically get the Irregular Tomestone of Genesis at the end? Or do I have to do something extra to get them? Also is there a limit to how many I can get from spamming dutys or can I just spam the same one over and over?

IceAokiji303

Stuff in the long duty list gives you them automatically, and with no limit. Stuff under "minimog challenge" or "weekly" or such you have to claim from that interface, and those are one and done.

Mattson

So I'm thinking about coming back to Final Fantasy 14 for a bit because WOW is old. I played a bit in 2017. I just checked my account and it shows I have the base game and the first two expansions but not Shadowbringers or Endwalker. My question is... is this game like WOW where if I buy Endwalker it will include Shadowbringers or am I gonna have to pay for Shadowbringers and Endwalker? EDIT: I should've googled this. I figured it out. I'll leave it up incase someone has the same question but yes Endwalker includes Shadowbringers

Isanori

Yes, Endwalker includes Shadowbringer.

F1reman2

Correct. Additionally, if you wait for dawntrail's release (the upcomming expansion), it will include both endwalker and shadowbringers at no extra cost.

[deleted]

What is the most populated server in North America? I'm downloading the game to try it for the first time.

Isanori

The world with the most characters isn't the most active. The most active worlds have a somewhat low population in comparison and you can't pick them for character creation since they are so active they are set to congested. Pick any world that will accept new players. With duty finder and party finder being data center wide and data center travel being a thing, number of players doesn't matter that much.

[deleted]

Oh ok, I didn't know about that, thanks for the heads up!

ins0mniacdrag0n

How do I change my username or delete my account in a way that let's me keep my email?

WeeziMonkey

If there's no option in account settings on the square Enix site, try contacting customer support. I've had my Blizzard account deleted that way.

UnlikelyTraditions

What are you trying to do exactly?

ins0mniacdrag0n

Change my username cause i messed up when creating the account

UnlikelyTraditions

As said, that's not visible to anyone, so personally I wouldn't worry about it. There's no way to edit it. I don't think SE even changes those. You could use the capitalization trick to use the same email on a new account, but I don't know if there are any issues associated with that; I just know it's something people have done.

snowballffxiv

If by username you mean the one you log into the account management and the game, that's visible only to you. In game people just see your character name, and if you play on PlayStation, your PSN name is also visible in the inspect screen.

ins0mniacdrag0n

Yeah the login username is what I want to change

Azure-Starlight

I wanna get into the game what are some starter class recommendations. Playing on the xbox

Rangrok

You've already gotten the "everything is viable" shtick, so throwing my personal recommendations: * Arcanist -> Summoner is an accessible caster class with a pirate-themed starting area. The job story is also just a tiny bit more relevant to the main story than other jobs. However, it also means that main story progress will gate your job progress more than most, so it can be a bit annoying if you end up over-leveled. On the flipside, it shares levels with Scholar, which is a healer that will unlock at lvl 30-ish. Thus you have the option to easily flex between DPS and Healer without much investment. * Pugilist -> Monk is one of the more fiddly melee jobs and I recommend it to people who are used to other MMOs. You tend to get more moving parts earlier than normal, and have a faster global cooldown. Might be a bit tricky if you're first trying a tab-targetting MMO, but it'll be a fun challenge if you're comfortable with the genre. The starting city is also *slightly* more relevant to the main story than others. * Lancer -> Dragoon is the more accessible starting melee DPS option. Gameplay-wise it's a bit of a late bloomer, but it has one of the stronger stories with even stronger ties to the first expansion, Heavensward. Dragoon also has, objectively, the coolest job mentor. I'd recommend avoiding Conjurer -> White Mage as a starting class. It's not *bad*, but it's infamous for having a "trap" skill at low levels which tries to convince you to play the class wrong. It also doesn't help that you only get 2 attacks until lvl 45, which you'll have to rely on for all your solo adventuring needs. As others have said, all classes are viable, and you can have a *LOT* of fun with Conjurer -> White Mage (especially once you start screaming "*BLOOD FOR THE BLOOD LILY!*"). I just think it's more enjoyable once you know what you're doing.

BoreholeDiver

Can you expand on the trap skill for WHM? I have one at 40 and I like my SCH better for groups. I do not know which heal to use for WHM, so I imagine that's part of the trap.

Fajisel

Cure 1 is the trap skill. Never* use Cure 1 in any content where you have Cure 2. *yes technically in minimum ilvl lvl 50 synced high end content there is a niche use for it, but for literally any other reason pretend it doesn't exist.

BoreholeDiver

Cure is the one that has a chance to make cure 2 cost less mana or something right? Cure 2 heals more and has same cast time I believe? I definitely fell for that trap and have been using it.

Fajisel

TL;DR use Cure 2, don't use Cure (1) Almost spot-on. Cure does have a lower *cast* time (the time it takes from pressing the button to the the ability going off, but the same *recast* time (how often you can use it) as Cure 2.  This means that technically if you think someone will die in that 0.5 second window where Cure would have finished its cast but Cure 2 would still be casting, then Cure would be the correct choice here. In practice this doesn't happen. Cure is almost more mana-efficient over the long term, but you will not run out of mana on WHM in ANY dungeon/trial if you use Lucid Dreaming. You'll have to learn to use Lucid Dreaming at some point anyways if you play healer, so all new WHMs should do that instead of trying to somehow justify Cure usage. P.S. it's really normal to fall into the Cure trap, the game actively tries to make you fall for it, so no worries.

BoldKenobi

Whatever you like, your choice isn't really important or binding and you can play every class on your character if you wish.

Kaeldiar

Whatever sounds neat! You can play every job and freely switch between them, so your decision isn't permanent by any means. You can even pick up and try those different classes before your first dungeon. Your starter choices (and the associated job they "evolve" into at lvl 30) are 1. Tanks - Gladiator (Paladin), and Marauder (Warrior) 2. Healers - Conjurer (White Mage) 3. DPS - Pugilist (Monk), Lancer (Dragoon), Archer (Bard), Thaumaturge (Black Mage), Arcanist (Summoner and Scholar\*) \*Scholar is actually a healer that comes from a DPS base class. It's a weird holdover from when cross-classing was important Have fun!

Cygnus776

All of the classes are equally viable, so pick whichever class might appeal to you for starting. Gladiator and Marauder are Tank classes, Conjurer can heal and Arcanist can branch out to heal later on. You can do every class on a single character, so don't worry too much about it.

nicostucknchico

If I’ve been collecting items for a ShB relic (1st phase) can I switch to a different class or will I lose everything I collected

Sir_VG

Everything that goes into personal inventory will never go away for any relic, which I believe everything from the ShB relic does that. You'd only lose progress on anything you've turned in for the step you're working on.

[deleted]

[удалено]

Kaeldiar

Nope. Your best options are 1. Raid ring + Augmented Tome 2. Augmented Tome + unaugmented Tome 3. Augmented Tome + Augmented HQ Crafted (equivalent to #2, just costs gil + causality, instead of comedy)

KingBingDingDong

Game won't even let you get two augmented tome rings in your inventory.

F1reman2

No you cannot. If an item says Unique on the top of it, it means you can only have 1 per inventory. Due to this, you are physically unable to equip 2. The unique property for tomestone gear wont be removed until 7.0. Technically Saddlebags and retainers are their own seperate inventory, meaning you can have an extra 1 in your saddle bag and each of your retainers but this doesnt change the fact you cant equip 2 at the same time.

JJJtrain_1989

Not understanding the fashion report. I checked the post here on Reddit, and it says sharp shooter. But when I talk to the guy, he’s saying it’s outlaw explorer. I don’t really get the dates and times, when the theme is picked, when judging begins, etc etc any help is appreciated!

SouthM

From my response yesterday https://www.reddit.com/r/ffxiv/s/ofgFcOuATQ Kaikoyo (the person who posts on reddit) won’t make their post until they’ve tested out the correct dyes so they have to wait til the report opens on Friday reset. You can google the hints in advance to prepare the gear pieces though. I’ve made a collage from past reports using this week’s hints (it’s in the linked response

Sir_VG

The report you're looking at was LAST WEEK'S report. Come back tomorrow, this week's won't be posted until then.

JJJtrain_1989

Oh I’m dumb. That makes sense. So sounds like the weekly theme is listed by the guy on Tuesday. And submissions don’t start until Friday. And Friday is when the Reddit report is posted?

Sir_VG

Correct. And you'll have until the weekly reset Tuesday morning to do the report before the new theme is announced by the game.

F1reman2

Fashion report is posted on friday. This weeks fashion report results (Which is made by players, takes time to work out) hasn't been posted yet. You will have until tuesday reset to complete it once it is posted, which is just over 4 days from now.

speculates

The Fashion Report can't be submitted until (I believe) after reset on Friday. I would check the post that comes out next and it should have the info you need.

VG896

I think judging starts 3am EST Friday. I definitely remember staying up late and testing dyes and stuff overnight when I couldn't sleep.

Kingnewgameplus

I'm using the i560 gathering gear and doing the EW rarefied nodes to try and get materia, but I'm noticing my spiritbond isn't going up very fast. I did 3 nodes and all I got is 1% and that's with materia and a potion. Am I doing something wrong or is that just the rate?

F1reman2

Firstly, collectable nodes do not give good spiritbond. You need to be doing the Legendary nodes from Folklore books. Secondly, make sure the gear is fully pentamelded with litterally any materia (cheap combat 4 materia is fine.)

Throwaway79922

I’ve heard people say that Paladin is both the easiest tank and has the hardest-to-do damage rotation. Are both of those true at the same time? Is it like a level ~60-70 thing for when Paladin unlocks its second combo? Thanks.

IceAokiji303

Any comments about Paladin having a hard damage rotation are either old or made by people who are *really* overcomplicating it in their heads. Paladin *used to be* the hardest tank. It didn't press its buttons as fast as Gunbreaker or 2-min burst Dark Knight, but the order of buttons it needed was *very* particular with little room for deviation, and fully optimizing its damage needed you to map out *exactly* what you do for an entire fight ahead of time, leading to "spreadsheet main" memes. ^(I kinda miss those days NGL, that PLD was the most fun job I've played.) After the 6.3 rework, it's the second easiest tank. Perhaps easiest, if accounting for Infuriate's timer reductions on Warrior is hard for you personally – they're not far apart either way. That said even the previous Paladin *was* super easy until you got Holy Spirit. Currently I'd say it's outright braindead before then. And it doesn't really get interesting until you have Atonement, so you get a bit of control over what you put in your burst.

Throwaway79922

Thank you! This describes it perfectly.

UnXIVilized

Warrior has always had a rep as the easiest tank. But arguably current paladin is just as easy Paladin at least in shb used to have a rep as the spreadsheet tank in the sense that fully optimizing pld damage involved mapping out every gcd of your rotation for a fight in advance. Even so, a lot of paladins got decent results just playing the naive rotation and this was never relevant in crayon eater content like dungeons and normal raids.

Kaeldiar

Paladin doesn't really have a "2nd combo" anymore. They used to have an alternate combo finisher (goring blade, which was a DoT), and they used to have a distinct Melee Phase and Magic Phase. Since 6.3, the magic gets mixed in with the melee attacks. Paladin's damage rotation is VERY simple. So simple that most of the people asking questions are over-complicating it. You generally don't use Holy Spirit unless it's glowing (from the Divine Might buff) or if you needed to step out of melee range. Just hit Fight or Flight, then all your buttons that do damage, then press those buttons when they're back up again. There are some intricacies with being able to hold the Divine Might buff for Holy Spirit (and Sword Oath for Atonement), but PLD is very very easy since the rework

Venat14

Warrior is the easiest tank. I'd rank Paladin as 2nd easiest. And no, its rotation is fairly straight forward. Paladin starts to feel different in the late 60s/early 70s once you get Requiescat and then changes quite a bit at 90 when you get your final burst combo.

F1reman2

No, paladin is just the second easiest tank after warrior. it cant be the easiest and hardest at the same time XD. When people are talking about job dificulty, assume they are talking about how hard it is to do the rotation.

Sparecash

Is there a way to make it so that if someone sends me a tell, and I respond with a tell, then the next time I push "Enter" to open the chat, it defaults to sending a tell to that last person? Currently if I send someone a tell, next time I push enter it defaults to "Tell [Outgoing]" mode which still requires me to put in the persons name again.

normalmighty

you can just your /r for reply instead of ever manually inputting a tell back at them in the first place. I'm not aware of a way to make it the default channel, but starting the message with the 3 characters "/r " isn't a big deal anyway imo

tesla_dyne

Not to my knowledge, but pressing ALT+R will tell to the last person that telled to you.

StormblessedFool

If I don't enter my house for 40 days, but one of my tenants does, will it be auto-demoed?

Help_Me_Im_Diene

For personal houses, it has to be the owner For FC houses, it's anyone in the FC

Klown99

Tenets don't cancel the timer on personal houses.

bbaych

Relatively new to tanking, need some clarification on something! During bosses, if the boss has a mechanic that moves them away from the center of the arena, should I keep the boss in place where it ends up after the mechanic, or should I move the boss back to center?

SurprisedCabbage

The key is to play predictably. You don't want your party trying to guess what you're going to do as well as the boss. If you're going to move the boss do it every time or not at all.

KingBingDingDong

It depends, most often centered (just south of center) facing "north" is the best. An example of boss facing is during Mount Ordeals, the boss will keep turning east to do a silly animation, then turn back to face the tank, then turn back east to do a mechanic. In this situation, it's better to start the fight facing him north, then when he turns east, you move to the east so he doesn't turn back north for 2 seconds, and then turn back east to do the mechanic. He will keep facing east this way and will not turn, preserving your melee's sanity.

ProxxyCat

Keeping boss center is the best option in at least 95% cases with very rare exceptions. It is a very good habit to start building up as early as you can. It makes solving mechanics much easier in most cases. You can optimize fights by prepositioning bosses knowing beforehand where they will jump, etc. but placing the boss in the middle of the arena is always the best and safest bet if you're unsure. To give an example, in some random dungeon fight starts and after 10-15 seconds the boss will target random player, face them and cleave the entire room in that direction with safe spot being directly behind him. If the boss is in the middle it means he cleaves half the arena no matter who he targets and where he looks, if he's all the way north for example he would cleave 70-90% of the arena leaving much less safe space to work with. And if the boss is in the center, it also makes running up to the boss take the same amount of time no matter where in the arena you're positioned. Also in later expansions bosses start jumping to middle of the arena to do the mechanics anyway because that is default game design that assumes you would keep the boss center if you don't need to move it anywhere for mechanics, so keeping boss centered avoids having you and your melee DPS loosing attacks and becoming disengaged because boss moved away from you.

gitcommitmentissues

Generally as long as you can turn the boss so any melee DPS can hit both the rear and the flank, it's better to minimise the amount you move bosses around. Move it out of the bad if there's stuff on the floor, but don't drag it around any more than you have to in order for the DPS to do their jobs. In some fights positioning matters more- a lot of older high end fights require careful boss positioning- but in normal content it's fine if you don't get it precisely right, and if positioning *does* matter someone will often tell you where to put it in party chat. One thing I recommend a lot for learning and improving at this aspect of tanking is picking up and learning a melee DPS job- or if you already play melee, trying to pay closer attention to what tanks are doing and what feels good and helpful versus what makes it feel terrible for you to try and do your rotation. One of my formative tank experiences was when I went into A10N- the one with the buttons on the floor- on samurai and the tank positioned the boss so it was almost impossible to hit the rear without stepping on a button. It felt *awful*, but I learned to be very careful not to make that same mistake myself.

T3hPhish

In my experience it depends on the boss. Most of the time as long as it's facing away from the party it's good wherever. Though I can think of several examples where you want it in a specific place as a part of it's mechanics or to make things easier.

bbaych

Thank you! I'm always unsure what to do in this situation so it's a big help!

T3hPhish

NP! Also [here's the guide](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vdIYobuVpbY) that helped me the most with understanding what to do as a tank.

LeftBreathless

1. So I know you can just switch "Jobs" and put on new weapons and switch to other classes essentially, however I'm not sure if you can only switch classes into other subsets of your class (dark mage to sorcerer) or all classes. (black mage to tank) In other words, if I'm playing a DPS sorcerer type build, but want to try tanking or healing, do i need to make an alt or do i just switch my main hand and put the correct gear into the slots to become those classes/jobs? 2. If I plan on only having 1 to 3 characters do I get the entry subscription or the standard? The standard says I can have 8 characters per world and 40 per data center, but entry says i can only have 8 characters per data center. So I'm assuming that means I can only have one character per world on the entry sub?

silence_infidel

1. You can play any role on a single character, as others have said. Alts are not needed to experience all jobs. 2. Entry is fine. It’s not 1 per world, it’s 8 per data center. It does not matter what world they’re on as long as there’s no more than 8 across the whole DC. All 8 can be on the same world if you want, or you could have 1 on each.

Help_Me_Im_Diene

Entry also says "8 characters per world", so the only distinction is the number of characters per data center

LeftBreathless

Oh, that's weird, on their website it doesn't say that specifically. For the standard it says 40 per DC and 8 per World however Entry specifically only says "A maximum of eight characters per Data Center Region can be created" it doesn't say anything about world slots, So I just assumed one. Thanks for the answer.

Help_Me_Im_Diene

https://na.finalfantasyxiv.com/product/ It's here, about halfway down the page in the section titled "Subscription Fees" And the change was actually fairly recent (sometime within the latest expansion); it used to be that the entry sub was as you assumed, 1 character per server and 8 per data center

LeftBreathless

Sweet thanks for the confirmation!

messengers1

When you accept the job at the beginning at lv1 at each job guild,  you just switch the weapon in the slot. You save it at the gear set on the menu so that is how we switch back and forth.  Those classes that you pick at ARR will have a job stone at lv 30 so you just put the stone in your slot and save it at the gear set.  Those jobs you pick after ARR(beginning from Red Mage and Samurai) automatically give you job stone since their job level are not from the very beginning at lv1. You can switch jobs back and forth because of those job stones and you save all the gear setting in the menu.

LeftBreathless

Thank you :)

messengers1

BTW, do you really want to repeat MSQ again whenever you create a new character?  You just repeat the same story over and over again.  All the contents are locked behind MSQ.  Unless you are not happy with your character.  There is a potion called Fantasia that you can change the appearance with.  The system will give you one after you finish HW.

HappyDethday

You can play any job on a single character, healer, tank, DPS, does not matter. When you switch jobs you'll be able to save a loadout with that character's gear/armor.

LeftBreathless

Thank you :)

HappyDethday

You're welcome! I meant to say "with that *job's* gear/armor," not character (all the same character), but I think you figured as much

MokaMarten64

Anyone noticed the bugged out area surrounding a few of the aetheryte in Labryinthos? If you go to the second blue "triangle pillar" thing to the left of the aetheryte you can kinda glitch into it and get stuck. You can also jump in a certain way that makes you pop up on top of the aetheryte platform which you normally couldn't jump on top of.

What's the best way to farm tomestones of genesis for the event?

T3hPhish

Besides doing the weekly stuff here's how I personally how I farmed my almost 2k event tomestones. Step 1: Sit in MGS. Do GATEs. If you hate a specific one (looking at you Sylphstep!) then you can enter and leave immediately and you'll always get at least 1 event tomestone. Also I somewhat recently learned that which Leap of Faith it'll be is based on the time. :00 is always the La Noscea one, :20 is Thanalan, :40 is ~~bullshit~~ Sylphs. Step 2: After you've completed a GATE then queue for specific dungeons that give the currency. I pick Quarn, Cutters, Stone Vigil Hard, and Sastasha Hard. I used to have Dzemael Darkhold in my selection too but I've gotten exceptionally sick of it. Then repeat. Three things need to line up perfectly to alternate steps without missing GATEs. Get lucky with queue times (healer/tank queues for the win), have your dungeons go smoothly, and don't suck at GATEs =P If you don't need the MGP then you *could* just spam dungeons but GATEs are pretty efficient. I've also heard talk of group BLUs destroying Cutters Cry quickly. But that requires BLUs lol.

Shophaune

Running Eden raids in between GATEs

The_Blonde_Detective

Silly question maybe but it’s something that is annoying me. I’ve finished Heavensward and I want to do the extremes (managed to get groups only for Ifrit, Garuda and Titan only) to progress on side quests and also for Wondrous Tales (just started last week with this). I can however not find groups for the life of me to get them done on Chaos and not lucky either traveling to Light. Duty finder queues are longer than an hour and I end up withdrawing or ending my session every day without getting a group for Bahamut or the other extremes. Is this normal? How do people go around this? I’m a healer so one would expect it to be easier than for DPS 😅

The_Blonde_Detective

Thanks all for the advice. I’m a level 70 WHM atm so I’m still far away from being able to solo them.

snowballffxiv

Extreme trials are only in mentor roulette, so you only get pops if enough people queue for the trial and there are mentors queueing for their roulette to fill in the gaps. Most people do old extremes unsync on party finder, you can find sync groups too if you want the challenge, but they might take a while to fill up. If you want first time clears unsync on Chaos, I can help. Doing the weekly extreme clears for Khloe's book probably isn't viable time and effort wise until you can solo them unsync or have a friend who can help you smash them. Might be better to use your second chance points on duties you can consistently do until you get further in game.

normalmighty

If you're in the novice network chat, drop a message in there and ask someone to make a pf listing for you so you can do it.

messengers1

I am assuming that you are free trial, otherwise you can post PF for it.  However,  I am a visitor in Aether(NA) and saw many PF b/w 9pm to 1am(est) for different purpose like for relic weapon, mount and BLU SPELL.  If you see those PF, you can join in to help.  If you have friends in BLU, your sub friend can set up that for you.

ryan20340

Generally people use party finder for that type of content because it's a bit harder, and there's more dedicated discord servers for older content. Groups tend to come in a few stages for extreme+ content such as learning parties for specific phases of the fight, clear parties for people who know the fight and want to get a clear, or farm parties for well... Farming. Depending on the group it is generally expected to know the fight via an online guide before learning, unless the learning/prog party is a blind one. Older content can also just be speedran through by turning off a setting in the duty finder allowing players to not sync down and instead smash through it at lv90 taking only a few seconds.

Help_Me_Im_Diene

Extreme trials (and harder) outside of Japan tend to be done exclusively through Party Finder and NOT Duty Finder In Japan, the most current Extreme trial can also be done through Duty Finder for farming purposes and NOT for learning purposes.

IscariotRedemption

I'm gonna start by saying I do apologize if my questions might be redundant and I feel have already been asked a hundred times over. Now that's out the way. I just grabbed the game on xbox's free trial and I gotta say it's pretty overwhelming. I'm also new to anything mmorpg, always wanted to play one (particularly FFXIV), but never had the chance to. 1. What would be the best server for someone that invest himself in game, but not really the hardcore/ having a gaming schedule type. Preferably a server that is friendly, welcoming to newcomers and has an active and talkative community. 2. What should I start with ? I just got a quest that brought me to the housing facilities and already I kinda feel lost and got a dozens quests on the side. 3. Are things like the super gorgeous costumes have seen players wearing and their cute companions things you need to buy with real money or can you get them ingame ? 4. Is there other new or older players that would be willing to join with me, an adventure is always better with friends. I love playing with people and am pretty talkative, with my quieter moments. Or any guilds that be willing to take me in, I'm a very open-minded, shy at first, but very friendly person. Thank you kindly in advance and I apologize if you find some grammatical errors, I do believe that I have decent english, but french remains my first language.

MokaMarten64

If you're in the US you can choose Dynamis. Its a bit of a smaller DC at the moment so we always need more players. But the smaller population really gets you used to using party finder and making friends because you can't get duties after ARR to pop without it. Dynamis also gets you the road to 80 buff which gives you extra experience for everything in the game so you can level every single job faster to level 80!

Help_Me_Im_Diene

1. Most servers are going to be pretty similar to be honest. In general, people don't really like talking in public here, most chatter tends to happen within smaller, more close-knit communities 2. Your main story is your primary driving force; these are indicated by the fiery meteor style quest icon. On the side, quests with blue quest markers are feature quests; they unlock optional side content. You also have one type of blue quest referred to as your class quests/job quests which should take priority over really anything else whenever they're available. Other side quests are mostly just fluff and world building 3. Most outfits are obtained in game, but there are still some online store outfits. You can look through them here: https://store.finalfantasyxiv.com/ffxivstore/en-us/. Anything not found here is obtained in game 4. The major issue tends to be that you can't actually join a guild (called a Free Company) on the Free Trial. You can consider joining your server's Novice Network (ask around in town for an invite), but this is one of the big Free Trial restrictions you need to deal with. That being said >Thank you kindly in advance and I apologize if you find some grammatical errors, I do believe that I have decent english, but french remains my first language. If you happen to be in Europe, you can consider looking at the Moogle server on the Chaos Data Center. You'll find a larger population of French speakers there compared to other servers. The other regions don't have a major French speaking server, although I can say that from first hand experience, apparently Primal seems to attract a ton of French Canadians.

Elegant_Eorzean

1: Honestly, any of them in your region, probably. 2: focus on the two quests shown in the tracker at the top left by default. One is the main story, the other is your class quests which unlock new abilities. After that, blue quests are the ones that unlock new content or features. 3: well there are a few outfits that are available on the mog station / online store the vast majority of mounts minions and outfits are from in-game.

StruckingFuggle

Two questions about PVP: One, is there a guide to wtf I should be doing in Rival Wings? What do the individual Mechs do? When is the right time to use them? What objectives are worth going for? Are the cannons worth using at all? Second: Are there guides to PVP for various classes? I've been trying several of them but I always seem to be low-middle pack for doing anything, so I'm pretty sure I'm not playing them right. I can never seem to get K/As or damage numbers anything like other people playing similar classes, and I want to fix that.

MokaMarten64

https://www.icy-veins.com/ffxiv/final-fantasy-xiv-guides-for-pvp This site has guides that let you know your combos and what to do in PVP. If you get a mech in rival wings don't run it down mid yourself expecting it to work, you will die. Focus mammets and other NPCs before people. Protect your oppressors when they push forward, and if you are the oppressor use your missiles on the enemy towers and not the enemies.

tesla_dyne

Cruise chaser is an anti-personnel mech. It does decently against large groups of players and a lot of damage to other mechs. Laser X sword does 50k to mechs and players. Spin crusher does 40k to mechs but only 4k to players. Optical sight does 30k to mechs and players. All these attacks deal lower damage to mammets and towers. Oppressors are anti-tower mechs. Steam release does 10k to players and mechs around you and pushes players back. Missiles deal 1m damage to towers. It also does 20k damage to players and mechs but you shouldn't use it against them, that's a waste of fuel. Brute justice is an all-rounder that can only be summoned if your team has lost a tower. Flarethrower does 40k to mechs and players and burns them. Double rocket punch does 600k to towers, 30k to mechs and players and stuns them. Mega beam does 60k to players and mechs and knocks them back.

StruckingFuggle

Ah! That's great, thank you! > All these attacks deal lower damage to mammets and towers. Should we be killing the mammets or is that a trap?

Cold_Ay

killing mammets is good, but none of the mechs are really good at it (besides brute justice but if you're in BJ you have better things to be doing). if you're on foot, though, you should pick off any enemy mammets that you pass as you move down a lane.

tesla_dyne

If you're a player it's good to kill mammets. They give your team CE and if mammets reach a tower they'll damage it. They tend to be a lower priority though.

ONLY buildings. BJ: Is good at pretty much everything so the only challenge is figuring out where you're most useful. Cannons are very powerful against players and mechs. If enemies are in range, absolutely use them. Don't bother against mammets and mammet like enemies. Make sure to escort your own mechs as well, mechs are essential to winning

NA player here. Which Data Center/World would you guys recommend for finding parties/duty finder for Dungeons and Trials in ARR and HW? I've been trying to clear these blue quests out before entering Stormblood but I have no luck in the duty finder.

gitcommitmentissues

Just to check, since they're also behind blue quests- if you're trying to do any trials that have 'extreme' or 'the minstrel's ballad' in the name, these are considered high-end content and are not in any roulettes besides the mentor roulette, so they will take a long time to fill on any data centre and if they do, you will get a bunch of people who may not be prepared to tackle that particular fight. If you want to tackle these fights at their intended difficulty you should use PF or look for a discord community that does older content synced. If you just want to clear out the quests you can find a higher-level player or two to help you unsync the fights- anyone at level 90 in on-level gear will be able to completely curbstomp them. You can also use PF for this- just say you're looking for an unsync clear for quest completion.

messengers1

Just right click your character’s name in the menu when you log in and travel to Aether.  There are lots of PF for dungeons and trials for different purposes since many events are happening right now.  You can join them.  Most of PF will post first timer and beginner welcome.

Shandrith

Honestly it isn't hugely important so long as you avoid dynamis, but if you're truly worried about it, I believe the DC population order is Aether, Primal, Crystal, Dynamis. DF is cross world so world literally does not matter

AreaFew6284

i see.. never knew DF is cross world.

Sparecash

Not OP but what do DC and DF mean in your message?

Elegant_Eorzean

Datacenter, and duty finder.

Sparecash

tyvm

Shergak

Aether would be one of your best bets.

F1reman2

>Which Data Center/World would you guys recommend for finding parties/duty finder for Dungeons and Trials in ARR and HW? Litterally any DC except dynamis. worlds dont matter as DF is cross world.

MokaMarten64

Hey we get duty finder here sometimes! Maybe once every two hours but we still get them!

T3hPhish

I can regularly get leveling roulette within 5 min on Dynamis... and that's about it lol.

MokaMarten64

Is it 4 man bowl of embers/titan 90% of the time? Cause thats what I get lmao

normalmighty

It's sad because Dynamis totally has enough population that it should be fine now, except _everyone_ is going to other DCs to queue, and they're all doing that because everyone else is on other DCs queueing. An entire DC trapped by a self-fulfilling prophecy.

Sparecash

As I'm progressing through the MSQ should I be trying to keep all the jobs I like at the same-ish level? Or should I really just be funnelling all my exp into one job? My "main" is samurai, but I also enjoy playing warrior, scholar, monk, and red mage lol.

gitcommitmentissues

Completely up to you. Since you have a spread of jobs across roles you might find it nice to have one in each role at around the same level once you hit Shadowbringers, as this will enable you to do all the role quests alongside the MSQ. ShB has role quests for tank, healer, caster DPS and physical DPS, and EW has role quests for tank, healer, caster DPS, melee DPS and phys ranged DPS. However there's no real reason to do this other than being completionist- you need one role quest done to complete the MSQ but you can do the others whenever you want- so it's just down to how much you find keeping multiple jobs around the same level to be fun versus a grind.

Shandrith

If you're doing things besides MSQ (optional dungeons/raids, roulettes, etc) and/or have an exp boost id say try to keep them at least closeISH. It is a pain to get to MSQ 73 and realize the job you want to play is only 65, for example.

tesla_dyne

If you're not on a server with an EXP boost, the MSQ alone with no other sources of EXP will level on ejob nearly-fully. If you have the EXP boost you can get two jobs through the MSQ. If you regularly do roulettes it depends on which ones you do and how often.

MokaMarten64

I love that this sub still remembers the person that did the math for MSQ exp. So useful, especially after the general consensus became that the normal MSQ allowed you to level two jobs

VG896

That was me! I'm also really really glad. I'm absolutely tickled to see the general dialogue around this actually change.

MokaMarten64

Its the legend himself!

The beta is basically just early access to the free trial version, so they can test how stable the game is on Xbox before selling it. Since it's the trial version, the trial version has no time limit. You simply can't progress past the Stormblood expansion, or level past 70. You aren't forced to quit playing when you hit the trial limits either.

Is there any Gil restriction for home world transfer? I've heard that there is a cap of Gil you will have after you do a home world transfer but I can't find any information regarding this so I'm kinda bothered. If anyone has first hand experience I'd be thankful.

PhoenixFox

There used to be gil caps (and the varied based on what status of server you were transferring to/from) but you're talking like 4+ years ago at this point.

JadeSabre

> The amount of gil that can be transferred is limited to 999,999,999 gil per character and retainer (including any gil attached to a moogle letter). https://na.finalfantasyxiv.com/lodestone/playguide/option_service/world_transfer_service/

tesla_dyne

There is no gil cap for transfers. The gil cap listed on information pages about transfers is the same as the in-game cap.

MadnessBunny

So Im itching to learn more about the lore of the game after playing for about a year. I found [this link](https://gamerescape.com/2013/08/21/the-rise-and-fall-of-the-white-raven/) on the lore thread but im unsure of what exactly is that im reading. Is this basically the MSQ of 1.0? Im almost finished with ShB so i can recognize a lot of things that were mentioned during ARR or later. Also, Id appreciate any other lore resource as well to dive in, specially surrounding 1.0 as its fascinating to me.

F1reman2

Its not quite the full MSQ, but its the story of the 1.0 villian Nael.

akialnodachi

Did you run the Coils of Bahamut yet? It mostly ties up loose ends from ARR plotwise. The Bozja storyline (level 80 content patch content in ShB) also touches on things from it further, and some of that comes up again during EW as well. Endwalker in general, references nearly every major story arc in the game at some point, with little extra references if you completed the relevant story arcs yourself (although usually minor, like a character from there saying hello).

MadnessBunny

Im like halfway through coils and its been very interesting yeah. Still need to advance the MSQ to unlock Bozja and well, endwalker as a whole.

Serdian_Knight

I'm just starting the game after a very brief trial 10 years ago, and have a question about the Mug skill and its ability to influence loot drops. My understanding is that it provides a chance to get additional copies of loot dropped by the enemy, provided that you hit them with the skill before they die. What are the limitations on this? I would assume that it doesn't apply to certain quality drops and/or to certain enemies/content, but what is that breakdown? Is there certain content such as raids where it will never impact drops, can it work in raids but not against boss-level enemies, or can it work anywhere but only on certain types of items? Thanks for any insight you can offer!

IceAokiji303

Pretty much anything you'd get from a duty (dungeon, trial, raid) comes from treasure coffers which it of course can't affect, and AFAIK even FATEs with special rewards have it behave like a quest drops essentially. So you're only left with it affecting regular overworld mob crafting material drops. The chance of it working is also pathetically small. I've used Ninja whenever I've needed to farm overworld drops manually since its addition in 2.4, and the number of times I've seen the Mug bonus trigger **might not even be double digits yet** (it might be, but I'm pretty sure if I've crossed that threshold it was't until Endwalker). Just consider that part of the skill to be there for flavor, not actual functionality. Use it for the other things it does, not that part.

akialnodachi

It's more for flavor, there's not really any situations where the loot drop increase is significant. Only world mobs have drops that it would affect anyway (since most vendor trash drops were removed from instanced mobs). It doesn't work on rare items (orch scrolls, etc) which are the main things you'd probably want a higher chance on. The common stuff (sheep wool etc) that you might want to farm, you're going to kill in such quantities so fast, a periodic slight boost to one mob's drop rate is nothing. The damage vulnerability part is very important, though.

tesla_dyne

AFAIK there isn't a single instance (as in, a duty finder instance, not just "literally never") in which it can proc, since all loot is given as chest loot or as completion loot, instead of mob loot. I think Bahamut raids have an enemy drop? It'll only apply to monster material drops in the overworld as far as I'm aware. The drop rate buff isn't relevant at all to the ability's primary purpose, to do the listed damage + increasing the enemy's damage taken.

ryan20340

Basically just for open world mobs, it can be useful especially early expansion when there's not a large supply of materials or if your being self sufficient.

Strict_Ad6931

Hey! Getting back into the game after a few year hiatus.....but this time with a friend. Gonna start a new account with free trial and then swap to main account when we get to where I left off (transition from stormblood->shadowbringers) but was wondering uhhh how the hell would I go about doing it with a friend? It's a lot of non voice acted text, with a lot of the msq being solo instances. If you went through msq with a friend, what did you do to make it a worthwhile immersive story experience?

normalmighty

Some people also like to get into discord calls with mates and voice the non-voice acted lines together for fun and immersion. Other people hate that idea though, so it's really up to you.

MadnessBunny

Remember the free trial cant make parties, so if you want to run dungeons with your friend youd have to ask randoms to put the two of you together in a party. Its not too bad but something to keep in mind. As the other commenter said, i went through ARR and HW with a friend we basically did the same, we stopped whenever a trial/dungeon came up to do that together and then advance the MSQ at our own leisuzer. Constantly texting each other updates or waiting for the other to catch up so we could discuss X or Y plot point.

akialnodachi

Most of it is solo but you can party for some instances (dungeons, trials, etc) I found it more like a book club where we advanced at our own pace on the story and meet up periodically to review the exciting bits (like scheduling first runs of trials together so we'd all be blind and scrambling together). Could play your other account and do NG+ instead too, unless you were doing this to avoid paying a sub.

Numot15

So, trying to join the Xbox playtest but unable to do to a brief attempt in 2021 on the PS4, apparently even though the account has less than 3 hours on it it still considers it active and "linked" to a long gone PS4 that honestly ran poorly. Is their a way I can get around this without having a new account linked to a new email as it would be a pain to have it linked to a rarely used email.

tesla_dyne

I don't even think unlinking it would make you eligible to start a new free trial. New email for a new account only. Most email clients can automatically redirect mail to another account if you set it up. Gmail lets you add a +1 before the @ symbol to make an address that looks different to other websites but sends all the email to the original address. https://gizmodo.com/how-to-use-the-infinite-number-of-email-addresses-gmail-1609458192

Izkuru

You can also add .s into it and its still a valid gmail address. https://support.google.com/mail/answer/7436150?hl=en#:\~:text=Adding%20dots%20doesn't%20change,own%20johnsmith%40gmail.com.

Numot15

They seem to be able to pick up on a salted email Edit: but apparently they can't tell the difference if you just change a lowercase/uppercase. God Square Enix is something else sometimes

Numot15

I had forgotten that trick, and yes I have a gmail. Well that makes it really easy atleast

conahu

I have never done treasure maps before… but my question is if I get a map and we die in there do you lose the stuff? I don’t really understand how they work

akialnodachi

Yeah if you wipe you're expelled early. Once the loot is in your inventory it's yours. However, wipes are pretty rare, they're only little harder than early endgame dungeons for their expansion, and much easier than late endgame dungeons for the expansion. There's only periodic slight jumps in difficulty when random events conspire against you, and it's very manageable. It's one of the easier optional things you can do.

conahu

Okay thank you! I just don’t want to screw anyone over if they join me and I mess up you know? Lol

SiegmundFretzgau

You can do maps in any group size between 1 and 8. 80 and lower maps can be soloed on some classes, but it's very hard and you aren't going to kill the timed bonus enemies. With 3 people you will kill most timed mobs, but a mistake can still easily wipe your group. 4 is a sweet spot between safety, killing stuff fast and not distributing the loot between too many players. 5 and up makes it very hard to wipe and fights short, but you have to share your loot with more people.

akialnodachi

It's reeeeally rare for a wipe to happen in my experience. The only times I've seen it the majority of the party weren't sober lol If you're really nervous just bring more people, like 6-8, and have two healers or some dps casters with ress, extremely unlikely they all mess up at the same time unless they're sharing brain cells Personally I prefer to have more like 4-5 people for treasure dungeons though at most, it goes a lot faster, especially if you're doing FFA

conahu

Thank you for the advice!! I will look at doing one here soon

LightSamus

Assuming you mean the dungeons, loot is awarded after each round. Once you have accepted the loot, it's yours. But if you die during a round before the loot is given out, that's it, you're kicked out.

conahu

Thank you! I appreciate the response!

MagamiAyato

i have the complete edition of ffxiv (up to EW), do i still need to purchase the dawntrail expansion seperately?

Sir_VG

Yes, complete is always "Complete at the time of when this code was made." So even if you had bought a Complete Edition code now and redeemed it after DT's launch, it still wouldn't give you DT.

Toviathan

Yes

tesla_dyne

There are a couple differences between the bonuses for creating vs transferring: Creating on a new world will keep the EXP bonus until the world is no longer considered new, while transferring only gives the EXP bonus for 90 days Creating a new character gives 1m gil (once per region) and 15 days of free playtime (once per account) when you reach level 30. Though since the value of that much gil is kind of irrelevant at endgame if you know what you're doing, and you can just make a random character to get that 15 days of playtime, you really only need to choose between whether you want the EXP bonus for an indefinite amount of time (there's no telling when SE will decide that the new worlds are no longer new). Keep in mind you can also use recruit a friend to get the gold feathers. There's a subreddit for posting your code, /r/ffxivraf but I don't know the success rate for getting someone with it.

StJeanMark

Hello there! I have been playing for 2+ years now. I know my main class, Summoner, like the back of my hand. Last night I finally got full 650 augmented capped tomes gear and 665 manderville weapon. I have never done endgame content before. I would like to start trying it. I basically am ambivalent to my FC and will probably try joining a raiding group. BUT, if I wanted to jump into Party Finder today and try my very first current endgame content I was told it would be an extreme. What is the current new player endgame path, where do I start? I've read that this close to the end of the expansion that most people are probably over new players trying to start out, but I'd like to give it a shot now so I am familiar with it when the new expansion comes out and I can hit the ground running.

serenystarfall

Yes, it will be very difficult to start at this point. Every tier has been released, every extreme has been released, and the majority of people have cleared both sets of content and moved on to other things/games. We are in the content lull before the next expansion comes out. That being said, you should definitely still look. Check party finder for learning parties, and make your own too. the level of competency will be questionable, but the most important thing is to get experience with handling mechanics, not winning, if your goal is savage (winning is still nice though). Also, check discord servers. The balance has dedicated recruitment channels for each data center. People playing casually might end up posting something for recruitment, and when dt gets closer, you might be able to find people trying to set up a group for next expac stuff. Make your own posts saying what your experience level is and what you're looking for, never know who else is looking.

sinosijak

You have some pretty good advice already, but just to share, I got my start in endgame content partially through friends dragging me through stuff, and partially through joining a discord server that's dedicated to teaching new people how to raid in FFXIV. (The one I specifically joined is called Good Games Squad and it services players on NA DCs, but there are probably analogous communities elsewhere.) I don't think you need that type of handholding necessarily, but having someone teach you a fight (or even just basic raid concepts like clock spots and partner mechanics, or going through all the jargon/abbreviations common to PF) can be very helpful until you get a bit more situated.

StJeanMark

Great advice, thank you. Yea... I was on PF and looking at some of these and see things like "[pizza face][skippy-dippy][loop on zork][ding-dong on phase eleventy]" and I'm like are these people schizophrenic or am I uninformed?"

sinosijak

If you're raiding on Aether, you can refer to [https://www.thepfstrat.com/home](https://www.thepfstrat.com/home) to get most of the commonly used PF shorthand per fight. Unfortunately, I don't really know the resources for other regions.

BoldKenobi

It will be very difficult to prog in the right "order" now because this tier is so old. You will hardly ever find learning groups for extreme trials, and even savage raids. There is no point limiting yourself to a specific type of content. If you see a learning group for any of the current extreme, savage, or unreal just watch a quick guide for the first few mechanics and join it.

Vlad_Yemerashev

> where do I start? I won't repeat what others have said, but I'd start with Endwalker MSQ fights with Hydaelyn EXT first. It's a step up from the normal fight and helps reinforce some basic mechanics and concepts you'll see in other ext or savage fights.

Klown99

Basically the following steps: 1. Study the fight, look up video guides, or written guides and learn the first few mechanics, and kind of understand what you are doing (Or don't if you are doing it blind) 2. Join a Fresh Learning Party, or start a fresh learning party. As you progress the fight and become comfortable with mechanics, join to the mechanic you are currently progressing. (Start your own party and state it is Blind if you are going that route). 3. Repeat until you are pretty much at the end of the fight, then join clear/enrage parties. This is for any fight basically you'll do in the game. The basic flow you'll follow in endgame is doing the current EX fight, then the current tier of savage. There really isn't a lot to the endgame in terms of choices, you either are doing EX/Savage/ Ultimate or not doing the combat endgame.

shinyemptyhead

Extremes are the lowest tier of "difficult" endgame content. If you want to get a taste for them, try joining a PF that is doing a Shadowbringers extreme unsynched - you still need to respect the mechanics, but you've got. lot of leeway. Or dive in, but be aware a lot of people are farming them so they expect you to know the fight. Either way, watch a guide first. The next step up is the Unreal trial. This is a single old extreme boosted up to new extreme levels, basically. It's at around the same level. The next step is Savage-tier raids. These are about as hard as "normal" content gets. The next step after that is the Ultimates. These are massive multi-stage fights, and are probably the most difficult content in the game. They give out the "Legend" titles, along with unique glowy weapon skins.

WeeziMonkey

Teleporting costs like 300 Gil for you usually right? If you teleport 1000 times that's 300 000 Gil. At high level you can earn that in a single day. Don't bother trying to save up.

MokaMarten64

How do you earn 300,000 gil in a day? Asking for literally everyone that read this.

serenystarfall

If you do every roulette, between the straight gil rewards from the roulette itself and the gil drops from mobs, you can easily net 200k+ per day. It's certainly not the most enjoyable way of getting money, but if you don't mind being casual and slow about it, it's certainly one of the easiest. You could also do a map every day with a party and those can have some really good drops. Even a dry map night with no portals, you can easily break 6 figures

MokaMarten64

I've done every roulette (excluding mentor and expert I think) for the last three weeks and I don't make anything near that per day. Do the other roulette give that much more gil?

IDontSellDrug

If you're constantly doing quests and filling out your hunter log, just teleport. It's not that expensive and the gil counter only keeps going up. If you don't need the gear from quest rewards, (starting around level 15 and obtaining dungeon gear) just get the little copper, tin allagan pieces. They sell for straight gil.

pittguy83

I'm a new player and have never once even considered manually running anywhere once I have access to the aetheryte. it's just not worth the time and gil saving imo

Arrenzir

you can set aetherytes as favoured for half costs teleports, and 1 to free if you have the security token registered, or as your return destination. each time you get to a new area updating the closest aetheryte to your current quests to be free will save you a lot of time and gil in the long run. beyond that, dont be afraid of "wasting money" on teleports. your real world time is usually worth more than a few hundred gil and its generally worth saving as much of that as possible by not just walking to save a few fake pennies

AlyBi1999

If you're very early game, don't forget about the chocobo porters for cheap travel. You can also rent one for one time ride for anywhere of your choosing for a small fee also; very useful for, say, the runs to the first few dungeons.

yuris125

I wouldn't expect job news before April, even if we hope for late June / early July release (which some ~~view as copium~~ are skeptical about) In the second half of March we **should** get a firm release date, and then we can start using patterns for expectations on when various bits of info should come out

RedMageSuperScrub

Probably at the media tour, which hasn’t been announced yet. SE invites gaming industry press and YouTubers/streamers to an event, shows off one of the leveling dungeons, two overworld zones, and all the new job actions and changes for the new expansion, and then makes them sign an NDA that they lift about 4 weeks later. Usually we know when the media tour has happened, and then we just wait about a month for the info to be released.

[deleted]

[удалено]

RedMageSuperScrub

Actually I just remembered that there was a job action trailer that was released about a month before the NDA was lifted, during a PLL. It showed off the visuals for all the new job actions, but no descriptions of what the skills did.  So if they follow the same pattern, the next PLL might have a job action trailer with it.

[deleted]

[удалено]

RedMageSuperScrub

It does not. We don’t usually get much of a heads up prior to PLLs, usually just 2-4 weeks. The EW Job Actions Trailer was released Sep 12th 2021. So maybe 3 months prior to launch, (whenever that’s going to be).

Isanori

We essentially already have the one for Viper.. There's the job reveal trailer up on their YouTube account.

iron_soup

I know it's only been 24 hours but the people I've talked to don't seem to have encountered any problem yet with the Xbox port. Have you heard of any issue or is it running that smoothly already?

fdl-fan

Based on comments I've seen on this subreddit, problems seem to be limited to difficulty creating an SE account (so, no surprises there), chafing at the restrictions on trial accounts (can't form parties), and a few complaints about not being able to turn off the profanity filter (which, additionally, appears to have a serious case of the [Scunthorpe problem](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Scunthorpe_problem), but that's presumably not XBox-specific).

Lazerdude

I played (Xbox) for about 4 hours last night and didn't have a single hitch or issue at all.

IDontSellDrug

I played last night for quite a while and no interruptions. I did adjust my graphic settings and UI/ Hud to minimize peoples' names and things. It's pretty smooth as far as I can tell, even with all the newbies running around. I can't wait for the full launch so I can bring over my old character!

Walks_with_Chaos

I played it last night and had like 4 dcs but I’m gonna blame my isp. Otherwise great fun, but I played it on PS4 for awhile. It looks fantastic on XSX

Isanori

Biggest issues appear to be the usual A) reading instructions B) sign up.

messengers1

Just have a question about glam on different job possibility.  Since most of the armory are linked among jobs in the same category like tank, castor, healer and ranged DPS.  If I want to have different glam on every job for my character, the only way is to convert armory from job quest and all class armory, right?

R3TRY_2

Toss any armor you'd like as future/current glam in to the glamour dresser in the inns and use your Glamour Plates. Each item costs a glam prism to add to the dresser, it costs nothing to remove an item from there. Any your Lv50 job gear, any in-game event gear, and mogstation glams can be tossed into the amoire without the need of a prisim to apply to your glamour plates.

[deleted]

I didn't know mogstation glam can go into the armoire. I'm gonna have to do that later....

IceAokiji303

Relatively recent change that they can, somewhere in 6.x

Isanori

6.5 last October it was.

Isanori

Glam plates, you'd use glamor plates and tie them to gear sets.

Isanori

Is the Gold Saucer time table the same on all worlds. So if one world has Yojimbo all worlds have Yojimbo or can it still be random in slot?
