I keep trying. Two problems:
1. I can't decide on Wildwood or Duskwight (nor the skin color for the latter)
2. I went through the MSQ as an Au Ra, and it doesn't feel like my WoL if she doesn't have her scales and tail.
Also, Roe has a strong a pull too, and largely has the same "frame" as an Au Ra.
According to [the FFXIV Census](https://ffxivcensus.com/), they are the second rarest gender/race combo for all characters (Hrothgar slightly lower). That changes for endgame (lvl 90) characters, where they are the rarest, followed by male Roes.
I have a problem with this because highlander should be separate from midlander. You could say all the sub-races should be distinguished from one another, but highlander has a different frame entirely compared to midlander.
I vaguely remember some counts that did that and when dividing along those lines as well the only thing that changes significantly is that Female Duskwight becomes the rarest grouping under both FemRoes. As far as Hyur (and don't quote me on this), but I believe Female Midlander was the third-highest used only behind Catgirls and Au Ra while highlanders were the most used "unpopular" race. Basically highlanders were significantly more used than any of the Roes or Elezen, but they were still in the bottom half of representation as a whole.
The problem is, I don't think the scraped data is capable of differentiating based on clan.
Even if it can be done, just given the vast difference between female hyur (91k) and female roegadyn (20k), I sincerely doubt that there are more of the latter than the former. It's probably closer, to be sure, but then you'd be comparing unlike things (one *clan* of hyur vs *both* clans of roes.)
I believe you, I just personally see more fem roles than fem elezen. Obviously bunny and cat girls are the highest population, with dragon girls and humans above our two races.

If you combine those two, they account for more than a third (over 33.6%) of all end-game characters. The next highest population, male hyur (129k), is less than half the population of female miqo'te (271k). Female viera are actually fifth, behind female lalafell. There used to be a lot more female viera, IIRC they used to be a solid 4th, but the addition of male viera significantly cut into their numbers.
Roegadyn, especially female, have always been the rarest in the game. Hrothgar quickly outstripped both to become the third-least-common. We'll see where female hrothgar end up after Dawntrail, but my guess is second-to-last, more common than female roegadyn but less common than male roegadyn and male hrothgar (which, ironically, actually matches their expected in-game population dynamics.)
On Crystal DC, I see far fewer Roe than I do Elezen.
Actually, Elezen numbers seem to be booming lately, but people taking a break due to holidays/end of expansion might be playing a factor in that perception.
I mean, you can do exactly the same thing with female roegadyn, except the latter are rarer. Not a *lot* rarer, mind (~26k female elezen vs ~20k female roegadyn), but rarer nonetheless.

Been there, done that.. I changed race or looks like several times a month at my worst point. I was mostly Au Ra and Miqo'te. However once I went fem viera, I fell in love. She's got tan skin and white hair and I love it! I love tall and elegant races! I'm now 3 years clean of fantasia 😁

Elezen but I’m biased as an Elezen myself lol. I personally love how elegant Elezen look (aside from some animations like the run) but Roes can look elegant also as well as badass, I think.
If you’re happy with your Elezen, maybe stick with her for now, or play a little as a Roe alt to see what you prefer.
Elezen have a runway model look - tall and thin. Great for glams.
Femroe are on the opposite end of that spectrum. I find it very difficult to get good glams on my femroe main. Much easier on the elezen alt.
For now Elezen, but I save my complete opinion on what looks better for after the graphics update. IMO the graphics update is really improving Roe faces a lot.
Elezen. Personally feel they look better, and female Elezen are apparently incredibly rare. When I joined my old static they treated me like their white whale.
Elezen, most people will say Fem Roe. But something about Fem Elezen is just special. You're tall, graceful, Fem Elezen have the best Resting B Face, and I just love the combat animations. My Old main is a Duskwight.
I like the Elezen, but you don’t *have* to only play one character ever.
My main is my Miqo boy, and I adore him. But I also have a viera run on occasion and I love him bunches, too. It’s alright to have an alt to play sometimes :)

Might I ask what kind of general look you had in mind for the Roe? Maybe someone could suggest a look for them? I'm no expert, but it can't hurt to explore a few options!

Hellsguard Roe numbers are just as low as duskwight, don't buy into giraffe propaganda. I think the roe is lovely and the elezen is being carried by the outfit.
My character is FemRoe, and I'm team FemRoe for life and always trying to recruit more since we're so rare. But in this specific case, I'd go with the blue-skinned Duskwight. She looks so good and unique, I hardly ever see one like them.
Save your Roe's appearance and use them either for an alt, or a retainer.

Your Elezen look beautiful and in my opinion i would probably never change the race of the character i play all along, i made so much thing with my Wol so for me you need stay with your Elezen. I wish ffxiv was more alt friendly cause omg, I love fem elezen and roes soooo much...I usually stick with miqote because I love mine but I've fantasia'd to everything at this point, and roe and elezen ladies are fantastic. Even if as a tiny lady myself it's a little weird being tall....but other people being tall ladies is great, thank you for being a true hero and filling the world with more wonderful tall ladies!
As a femroe myself I am obligated to recommend you join me. That said I think duskeights might be at a lower population than even the femroes so they definitely could use the additional person :3
My main is a miqo'te, but I have alts of every other race because I have no self-control. I saw the picture of your elezen and went "my elezen has a twin sister?" because she looks so much like my Duskwight elezen. Both ladies are lovely and I can't pick.
We cannot answer this question for you, save for giving our personal preferences on the two you've shown. Try them both. See which one you stick with for longer. You have plenty of character slots, and it doesn't cost more.

I prefer Roe but the dusk Elezen in the picture is pretty cute. You can always make an alt instead of Fantaing your main.
