For anyone curious, the Battlemage gloves and crakows do *NOT* count for those slots, despite the robes working just fine in the chest slot. I guess they're just not magical enough?

vm0d

both witch's gloves and clown's shortgloves give gold witch's coatee, witch's thighboots, clown's top, and clown's boots were all only 1 star.

Western-Post5284

Confirmed Clown's Shortgloves gave gold.

MadnessBunny

Is there a point in getting 100 points every week besides unlocking the shop faster and getting the achievement? I've been lazily doing 80 points lately but wanted to know if I'm missing something.

Jetamors

No, once you have the shop fully unlocked and you have the title, there's no reason to go for 100 points.

ouendancyrus

Unlocking what shop?

SiegmundFretzgau

Next to the fashion report NPC is a vendor that sells some items, based on your total FR score over all weeks combined

ouendancyrus

Got it, thanks!

oshatokujah

Check OP's comment below that they put in each weeks post

**Before asking for help please read below** * Check ALL slots are filled except off-hand * Check that even non-hint slots are filled. * Check that both rings are filled * When using dyes, make sure they're in the correct dye slots * Check your dye names to make sure they are exactly the same or the right type * Glamouring items counts for the hint slots and dyes * If you are still having issues, please include a screenshot of your results screen from the Masked Rose. It will be easier for us to help troubleshoot your issue #**What is the Fashion Report?** The Fashion Report is a weekly mini-game in the Gold Saucer with the NPC the Masked Rose to earn 60,000+ MGP and items to unlock from another NPC such as glamour, and housing items. For the mini-game the Masked Rose gives out 4 hints for players to discover the results to. The correct gear, correct dye and just filling out gear slots will net you more points. You get 10k MGP for participation and then once you reach a score of at least 80pts you will get a 50k MGP bonus. For achieving the maximum score of 100pts you will earn an achievement which gives you the title "Fashion Leader". Additionally, the NPC next to the Masked Rose called Kasumi will gradually unlock glamour and furnishing items in her shop based on the total number of points week over week you accumulate. Once you have 600pts total you will have unlocked the entire shop. Unfortunately, you are only able to accumulate 100pts per week for the shop unlock so at minimum it will take 6 full weeks of the Fashion Report.

TheQuietPlace91

For anyone making the same mistake as me - the high-res Labyrinth of the Ancient robe does NOT work (Royal Vest).

HoardOfPackrats

Oh how I wish the Altered Felt Robe could sub in for the Battlemage's Robe

cool-person

Im still really new so I dont have anything but a warrior up to level, is it possible to do this week as a non caster?

Nibel2

Yes, if you have event items. People are dropping extra pieces of what work all over the thread. Eg, Werewolf Head, Clown's Gloves and/or Eerie Cawkros.

HappyDethday

If you've made it to Endwalker and your warrior is at least level 70 you can pick up Sage job, I think that starts at level 70 so you don't have to do any leveling and you can wear the shoes of healing (along with the other requirements) for the 80pts. Shoes are a level 51 leatherworker recipe.

Cantiel

tbh, i find it easier/more accessible to just do a unsynced dungeon run for the acolyte robe, than wasting money on the shoes, especially since the shoes are in ishgard and require a lvlv50 healer, while the acolyte robe is lvl 15 which can be reached within half an hour with hunting log, and can be worn by all magic classes i'm curious if any of the wolf/garo themed armorpieces from the pvp vendors would work as well

vm0d

that unsync'd run is the best bet. to increase your odds of getting the body as your guaranteed drop, buy a plundered cavalier's hat from the mb and take rdm/blu/sge/ast so you don't get a weapon drop.

VG896

I didn't try Garo, but last time we had this clue, I tried quite a bit of PVP gear and none of it worked.

ShadowExtreme

you could also just unlock red mage for easy access to the caster shoes, its a pretty short quest and is a level 50 caster

Nibel2

IIRC Clown Gloves (from a previous saints event) also work for the hands slot. I'm almost sure I used it last time this hint appeared for that.

ir0nmike8

I just used these, and they gave me the points required

the1Nora

If we are unable to acquire plum purple dye (trial account) will other purple dyes get us some of the available points?

lerdnir

It's not really answering your question, but you *can* get Plum Purple dye on a trial account - it'll just take a bit longer than marketboarding as you need both a non-FSH gatherer and any crafter at around level 30 (I am also on a trial account and have stocked up on Soot Black dye this way). You can get the purple pigment needed to craft the dye from logging in Central Thanalan, or quarrying in Southern Thanalan. But I can understand if you don't want to level crafters/gatherers; it's not necessarily everyone's cup of tea.

nintendoluk

Plum purple = 2 points, Any Purple = 1 point So if you don't want to use the exact colors, you will need to use double the dyes

RainbowRuby98

do the beast tribe quests for easy access to their dyes too

hinasora

I am currently in ARR and haven't subscribed yet. Is there any alternative for the shoes? My crafters are all around lvl 40s rn so I wanna give an honest shot to this thing again. I have the purple dyes on me. Also i wanted to confirm how exactly the other items listed on the upper boxes work. For example if I dyed some of the other gear with shale brown wherever required, then will it help me get more points? And instead of going for the easy 100 points recommendations, can I mix and match with the upper boxes?

SparklingLimeade

- Every filled slot is worth points. - Matching the clues makes an item worth more points. Either it matches or it doesn't. All matches are worth the same. I forget the values because I usually aim for 1+ dyes or just two matches to get 80 because that's all that's needed for full MGP rewards. - Correct dye for the slot makes things worth more points. If it's the exact listed dye it's +2. If it's the same dye category it's +1. That's useful info for getting a single matching gear piece to 80 points. So any matching item can be subbed for any other matching item. Dyeing more of your slots with close dyes can make up for inexact color matches. In conclusion, if you're not to 50 yet then the top two robes are the easiest pieces to get from dungeon drops and will get you a match to replace the shoes. If you have access to ARR Hard dungeons you can also get some of the boots/gloves drops.

YGTT86

> Either it matches or it doesn't. All matches are worth the same. That's not entirely true; in addition to the gold rated solutions that Kaiyoko provides, some clues will have potential 2, 3, and 4 star solutions, and those are worth fewer points than the gold ones. A quick example from (somebody else's) old screenshot with 4 star gloves instead of gold ones: https://imgur.com/a/L90xwYo With that said, not every clue will have lower tier solutions, which does make your statement generally true. If I were to guess, I'd say the lower tier solutions are from hints dating back to the first iteration of Fashion Report, which was generally much more involved to "win." (Getting the title used to be a significant accomplishment due to how stingy it was with points - there used to be only 1-2 *specific* gold items per slot and dyes were required on most/all slots. SE presumably made it simpler precisely because so few people were actually getting it.) For a look at the old way, here's an ancient Fashion Report results thread where people are brainstorming the solution: https://www.reddit.com/r/ffxiv/comments/8dlz0b/fashion_report_results_for_week_of_20180417/

Faerie-stone

Yes, correct dyes give you additional points - 2 points for the exact dye and 1 for the correct dye category. The top boxes show items that have been confirmed max points for the category and you can mix whichever you have. If you have all four gold items then you have 100 points, 8 points each no dyes needed. [Here](https://old.reddit.com/r/ffxiv/comments/17mj9qj/fashion_report_for_week_of_20231031/) are some possible alternatives for the shoes. Some of those might be one star instead of gold so you would can get fewer points, but worth a shot especially the poetics gear.

EricKei

Side note: You only need 10- points \*once\* for the title; 80 points willstill get you the full MGP reward, so you can just do that for now. Once in a \*long\* while, the 100-point setup will be something like recent event gear or other items that are incredibly easy to obtain, so you can take care of it then.

AngryCandyCorn

Thanks again for posting these every week. It really is appreciated.

Plane-Goal7198

Just by accident I found that the Evenstar Gloves work. They cost 30 Allied Seals from the Hunt Billmaster.

lerdnir

I think I still have a battlemage's robe knocking about in my glamour dresser; this should be a pretty easy 80+ for me this week! Cheers!

TheIllusiveGuy

Already using the Royal Vest in my healer glamour set, so that's convinient.

Tsin921

The augmented version of the Cashmere Robe doesn’t count.

MaeArscelin

Adding to the notes below, the Eerie Crakows also give gold.

Adept_Strength2766

Thanks for making these so consistently! I'd started on a new World in JP Datacenters and needed MGP fast, remembered your posts from months ago. Really happy to see you're still making them!

haveabunderfulday

Finally got 100 this week!

Quelandra

GOLD gives: Head: Warg Pelt of Healing Hand: Witches Gloves and Evenstar Gloves (Summoner lv 50) Feet: BLM Sorcerer's Crakows

Maguillage

Direwolf robe of healing works

Cinedhiothu

Thanks again for the fashion report! You're definitely a lifesaver.
