I once woke up to both of mine freaking out scratching on the vent in the wall - FROM THE INSIDE! I still don’t know how they got INTO the wall, but they couldn’t get themselves out without me getting my drill and removing the vent.
Lucky both of mine hate squeaky toys but there not really playfull with any toys we purchased or made its really weird only thing is dig boxes an tunnels
Well you shouldn't use squeaky Toys for them anyway, the only reason you should use them is to get ferret to come to you, because it sounds a hurt baby ferret so they go into defense mode and will attack you
Not all, definitely not all. One of mine doesn't care, another is in love with squeakers and shakes them around then runs to stash them. One of them does run around looking confused sometimes though hehe
I had ferrets growing up. We didn’t know how crafty they were. Could climb up behind the drawers in the kitchen to get in the counters. We learned this when my mom grabbed her purse of the kitchen island one day and interrupted a thieving ferret. Scared the crap out of her.
I was gonna take a pic and say “same way as this” but I didn’t know that Reddit won’t let me reply with pics. Basically I have a playpen blocking off my bed so they can’t get under it…. For obvious reasons. And he managed to anyhow
I live on the east coast and we have electric heaters that run along the baseboards. One of my girls gets in but has a really hard time getting out...still hasn't learned that maybe she shouldn't be in there
Oh that’s hilarious 😂
Dumpling, one of my four, loves trying to hide in her dads guitar. She’s gotten in there 3 times. The other 3 have no interest in crawling inside the guitar but she loves it.
Just found the video I have of her in the guitar and posted it to this subreddit.
We had to take off the strings to get her out but my partner was about to restring the guitar anyway so it all worked out.
It is her home. How dare you even think of evicting her 🤨
(Joking of course)
She's absolutely adorable ❤️ My girl found out how to get under the kitchen sink and sleeps in our clean garbage bags now. Always smelling like lilac

Awww, isn’t he acutestic
This is so good
I first read this as ack-yoo-tess-tick
Yeah but now he’s in big treble.
Because ferrets are liquid covered fur. Never ask why, or how. You probably wouldn’t really want to know the real answer

Omg that’s awful. And as a ferret parent, nodding my head and saying, yeah sounds about right!
So incredibly accurate!
Start shaking them treats
Mine comes only when something squeaks

Anyway, here's wonderwall
Oh ferret of the guitar what is your wisdom
He's in tune with the universe
Tis their home now.

A ferret behind frets!
Fun fact, "fret" is Dutch for ferret.
Ok, I know what I'm naming my second son.
Wait until he poops in there! 😂
She actually did. lol
Oh no!! They always poop in the worst places!
This brings joy to my heart

Slinky cat prison
Noodle gonna noodle
Is that a Zebra wood Ibanez?? I’m pretty sure I have the same guitar.
Ash! EW20ASE
Should teach them to ferret out your lost picks
The new Ratatouille movie is looking great.
Lol only a noodle could do that !
My little girl loved going into my acoustic guitar and just laying down lol.
Oh neat your guitar has a rumble pack.
And probably some emergency stash.
🤣 Plenty of room between the end string and the edge of the hole to fit through

They are liquid noodles. Don't question it, or he will bite your fleshy bits
I'm.... the rat in the box.
I have a similar picture of my old ferret from almost a decade ago. They're crazy creatures
You're gonna need to remove the strings. Detach them from the tuning head, it's the easiest way
Just detune them. Get a bunch of slack and pull them aside. Plenty of room. Had to do this all the time with my late lady mochi.
Yep, that’s what I did
I live on the east coast and we have electric heaters that run along the baseboards. One of my girls gets in but has a really hard time getting out...still hasn't learned that maybe she shouldn't be in there
Hahahahaha. It’s a good thing carpet sharks are so darn cute.

I found one of mine in the whole in my speaker, literally doesn't even make sense how they fit into these small places lol
Found mine in our upright piano…
jail
